A year later, and the food has gotten even better. On top of that, my wife has discovered that she really likes the masala tea here as well.

The soup dumplings and nan are absolutely delicious and the egg rolls are delightful as well. Service was excellent and the food came out fast, if you're looking for a nice spot to grab some amazing food, this is the place, my plate is clean!!

Another Birthday dinner adventure. This time it was food we had never taken part of. Nepali tastings. Started with Aloo Fry. Drinks of Masala Tea and Berry Burst Smoothie. Our entrees were Mo:Mo (chicken) Kung Fu, and Wai Wai Shrimp. We really enjoyed a totally different dining experience. We ordered no-spice and it was plenty spicy for our taste. Would like to return and try a few more dishes. Family owner business. Food made to order.

My daughter lost her first tooth at that pub, such good memories of years past. There are still Guinness signs hanging behind the bar. Seeing those old signs brought a single tear to my eye. One door closes and another opens. The restaurant that now calls the old pub their new home is great! All is good with the new place, you might even say great. The interior is not that of a pub anymore. It has been completely redone and the dining room is quite nice. I wouldn't call it a quiet cozy little romantic restaurant, but it could be if that's what you need. I would be willing to take my kiddos to the new restaurant, as long as the six-year-old boy is acting like a human on the day we decide to go. There is a full bar too. I feel that anyone can stop in for any occasion a fit right in. I don't remember the names of the dishes that my wife and I had for dinner but the food was very good. We kept it simple and we both had chicken dishes. If you want to step out and explore culinary culture they offer many appealing options. The food was fresh and light. The spices that they use are aromatic and flavorful. I am guessing that there is a strong Nepali influence. The beauty of the restaurant scene in Arlington is that there is so many different authentic cuisines from very specific regions. If you wanna have Indian food in Arlington you have to consider what kind of Indian food you want. If you go to downtown Fort Worth an Indian restaurant is an Indian restaurant. This little restaurant is a good representation of what Arlington restaurants have to offer. We will go back, soon.

If you are like me, just know that Nepalese has hints of other South Asian flavors like Indian food--richly spiced and layered in flavor, nicely cooked veggies. First off, the atmosphere is great! The restaurant is clean, colorful and welcoming. If you're tall, you may need to duck under the light fixtures. The service is so spectacular-- attentive and friendly. The server really added a special touch to our night. But we're all really curious to know about the food. It. Was. Mind-blowing. No, seriously. It is, without a doubt one of the best places in Arlington. We went with another couple who share my porous food boundaries so we ordered several thing and shared. The best bite was the vegetarian Aloo Cauliflower. Second best bite was the Royal Kofta Ball. We also tried a couple of chicken dishes that were delicious. You know it's a good place when you find yourself craving the Aloo Cauliflower even though it's been less than 48 hours. If you're in Arlington (and even if you aren't). Royal Nepal is Arlington's best restaurant--there, I said it.

The food stands out for being fresh, with well-balanced flavors that feel thoughtfully prepared--easily one of the better dining experiences in the area. Summy took excellent care of us, even when there was a mix-up with one of the items. She handled it quickly and professionally, making sure everything was corrected without any hassle. Since moving back from the northeast, we've been looking for good momos that we don't have to trek to Irving for. Thankfully we've found a delicious option!! Chili momo was nice and flavorful without being too spicy. Loved the fried momo with the chicken filling. Johl momo was the least favorite, bc it was just served in a bowl of the same sauce that was served with everything else. Steamed momo is always classic, and the veggie filling was great. Also got some basic palak paneer and butter chicken with rice and garlic naan, and all delicious which made awesome leftovers. Can't wait to come back up here! def work the drive up the tollway. Service was also super nice and attentive despite only two workers in the front, and the interior is decorated nice and there was an obvious commitment to keep the restaurant clean.

The restaurant is large with a nice bar area and the service was very friendly and efficient! Apps: Chili Momos (Veg) and Gobi Manchurian - the momos were super crispy and the sauce was very spicy in a good way! The Manchurian was so saucy and packed with flavor. Recommend both! Mains: Himalayan Thukpa, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta - the Thukpa was the highlight! The broth was perfectly salty with a great umami taste. The Malai Kofta was rich and I enjoyed the cheesy koftas. The Palak Paneer was tasty, but I enjoyed the malai and thukpa more! Dessert: Pistachio Cheesecake - delicious! More like a pistachio ice cream cake, but it was so good and not too sweet! The butter tikka momos were creamy and rich, while the choila momos with the chef's sauce brought a spicy spark that stayed with me. The drinks matched the season perfectly. The Gurkhas Old Fashioned was smooth with a twist, and the hot rum punch felt like warmth in a glass just right for winter. The place itself was cozy, with a vibe that made me want to linger. Even during busy hours the staff stayed friendly, though the food took a little longer to arrive. Still, the service felt welcoming. Altogether, the mix of food, drinks, and atmosphere made the evening memorable in its own way.

I've had their momos with Akbare chili (that Nepalese fire pepper), and when you tell them to crank the heat, they actually do it. Not fake spicy--this is the real deal. I picked up the following momos: chicken butter tikka; Akbare porken; veg chili; and veg butter tikka. I also bought an order of potato chili. Everything was packed with flavor, pungent, and spicy. The potato chili is now made with French fries, as opposed to chopped potatoes. I couldn't even ding them a star for that because the sauce and spices on the fries were amazing. I'm not eating meat right now, so I love that they have lots of vegetarian options. This spot is pickup only since it's inside the "Cowboy 11," a convenience store. I've always been too busy smelling the yummy food to pay much attention to the store. Oh, and I guess if you don't mind sitting on a small stool, technically, you could eat your food in there. There were 2 young me working there today. They were friendly, so service is great. Dumplings (momo) are delicious and filling here. I've also had the chapote and pani puri, and I highly recommend that as well. You can easily order online via zing. As soon as you see that Cowboy 11 sign, you're in the right place for good food.
