I absolutely love this restaurant! My family and I have been going here for quite some time. The food is very tasty, they have decent proportions and the service is always good. The servers are kind, and attentive. The restaurant itself is very clean but it can get noisy on holidays (like most places.) However, we don't mind because the food is great! It is definitely one of our go-to restaurants!

Cafe Catula: A Lunch Option Cafe Catula offers lunch specials priced at $30, which reflect the restaurant's focus on quality and flavor. The lunch specials include a variety of dishes to suit different preferences, from steaks, salads and pasta. The ingredients are fresh, and the presentation is incredilbly done. One notable option is their catch of the day, which is well-cooked and seasoned, served with a side of pasta. The service at Cafe Catula is attentive, and the staff aims to meet customers' needs. The ambiance is both cozy and elegant, suitable for casual lunches or special occasions. Overall, Cafe Catula's $30 lunch specials provide good value for the quality and experience offered. It is a recommended place for those seeking a satisfying meal in a pleasant environment with great art decorations. They also offer valet parking at no cost.

We went to this restaurant because of the Miami Spice Menu and we were very impressed with their selection on the menu. I had called previously to ask if we needed a reservation and the person who answered said we did not. It was early when we arrived it was almost 7 pm and noticed it was quite full. First of all when we entered the restaurant we were greeted by the hostess and asked to wait for a table which was being cleaned. She briefly accommodated us to our table and we were attended quickly with the menus and also were told our waitress would be coming very soon to take our drink and food order. We ordered our drinks first and shortly afterward they arrived. I had a very delicious pineapple margarita and my hubby had the Cabernet which he also said was excellent! My husband decided from the Miami Spice Menu and I ordered from the regular menu. I ordered the salmon with a delicious sauce & mashed potatoes and my hubby had the appetizer which was the yuca with a mozzarella sauce and it was so good! He ordered the churrasco meat and for dessert a crepe with Nutella sauce and ice cream! I must say the meal was wonderful and the restaurant's ambiance was very cozy and pleasant. We enjoyed our dinner together and we had a very good time.. They have a valet parking system.

Café Catula is one of my favorite restaurants in the Kendall area. The décor is superb with the beautiful artwork on display that is accompanied by a well-leveled background music. The place is excellent for a date night. We tried the croquetas de chorizo and tostones with shrimp to start. The shrimp was amazing. We also ordered the sunset snapper and the corvina aragosta. They did not spare on the crab meat for the corvina, and we loved it. However, the sunset snapper was my favorite, the citrous white wine sauce with capers was the perfect accompaniment for the fish. Each of the entrees came with two sides. For dessert, we had the crepe and it was also delicious. The staff was very friendly and well trained in hospitality. One could tell our waiter knew what he was doing, from the timing of bringing our food to refilling our wine glasses. We will definitely return.

Came for lunch on 10/29/23 after a long hiatus. We had a set menu which consisted of: APPETIZER (choose one): Soup Caprese Salad Escargot Crab Cake ENTREE (choose one): New York strip served with mashed potatoes and vegetables Chilean Sea Bass or Black Grouper sautéed with lobster sauce and mushrooms, served with mashed poatotes and vegetables Carmelized duck served with mashed potatoes and vegetables Black linguine with seafood and a lobster tail in white wine and saffron sauce DESSERT (choose one): Tres Guayaba Coconut Flan Dulce De Leche Crepes I ordered the crab cake, the sea bass in lobster sauce and the coconut flan. Everything was delicious but the sea bass in the lobster sauce was to die for!! I also tasted the Tres Guayaba and I wish that I had ordered that instead of the Coconut Flan, even though the flan was really good too!! Honestly, I've been dreaming of the food ever since and I can't wait to come back!!

What an amazing restaurant!!! I came here to celebrate a baptism and first bday and it was the best venue!! The food is AMAZING!! I had a pasta with pink sauce and prosciutto. My husband had the churrasco which also came with pasta. Cooked to perfection. The staff was the nicest I've seen in a while. Great service. My little one got burned with the soup and was crying like crazy and the waiters all came outside to check up on him, brought him milk, put an oil remedy on him. They were soooo sweet. Honestly what a great experience. I will be coming back here and recommending to all my friends!!

This place caught our eye thanks to their incredible Miami Spice menu. I was incredibly shocked to see how beautiful this restaurant is on the inside. It is incredible well kept and the lighting gives it a very nice cozy vibe. We were quickly greeted by the host and sat at the table. The waiter came over right away and presented us with both their regular menu and the Miami Spice menu. Their regular menu is quite enticing. (We will definitely be back). They do place a bread basket on the table with an herb butter and a red sauce which was so yummy. I decided to go with the grilled sausage for appetizer. It is a delicious Argentinian sausage that comes with fries and a great chimichurri dipping sauce. For entrée I went with the churrasco steak and I was shocked to learn it also comes with your choice of 2 sides! I got white rice and maduros. OMG that steak was huge!!! But with that said, it was so juicy and delicious. Cooked to perfection! For dessert I had the nutella crepe which was a perfect sweet finish to the night. Highly recommend checking this place out! Hit it up for Miami Spice or even for Happy Hour! They have some great deals. Even the regular is quite affordable and the food is great! The waiters are also top notch. It was great to see them work as a team to help customers.

Love this place, it's a loca gem close to home. Love the eclectic art work and the comfort Spanish food. Amazing Spanish risotto as well. Hosted my wife's baby shower there and they were amazing! Highly recommend.

Parking is $5 valet. Restaurant is on the first floor. The ambiance is good and elegant, beautiful pieces of art displayed throughout the restaurant. My family enjoyed their meal. The only downside was that where we were sitting the A/C vent in the ceiling was dripping water on my mother. Not good.

Dessert. Crème brûlée & Nutella crepe

Nothing like enjoying my bday weekend with friends at my fave live jazz bar in this area of Miami!…read moreWe called in on Saturday night and got a nice comfy half booth in the live music room right away. The room is so cool, staff is relaxed, cool and inviting. Tonight Ollie is onstage playing guitar, singing and taking all our favorite requests! We all sing along and have a great night of good food, good music, good drinks and great company of other live music enthusiasts! They have a fresh fish case stocked with great stuff including stone crab--The food is terrific! From my favorite raw bar starters, fish soup, sushi, whole fish, protein bowls, steak/chicken, kids choices, and the like. Menu is huge, something for everyone. The complimentary starter is fish dip and saltines. It Definitely sets the fish house mood! I love the decor--so jazzy, so mardi gras, so eclectic kitsch. It's just a relaxed fun time right on Miller Drive. Feels almost like a speakeasy! Aahhh, Miami--so chock full of these little unsung spots that you must be a local to know the secrets! All the fun is inside here. Check it out, it's all good at the Fish House. Thanks for following me, happy 2026! ~Tami in Miami

Visited this past Friday for Happy Hour. Had not been here in years…read more We have been to the one in Key Largo which is also fantastic. Nice and rustic ambiance, definitely seafood related decor. Welcomed to the table with crackers and seafood dip. I could eat a tub of the dip! Ordered two Margaritas for $6 each which were excellent in regular good size mug. Service was very good team effort. Appetizer was conch fritters, rather small, but tasty with dipping sauce. Lobster bisque on point, can eat a 5 gallon bucket of this easily. My wife had the fried shrimp with parsley potatoes. Tasty and enjoyable. I had the shrimp linguini covered in Parmesan sauce. Ate every bit of it even though I should of taken half home. Definitely recommend going for Happy Hour and save half the cost of dinner menu. Almost forgot Cuban Mojito to finish off the meal. Overall, just as good as the first time we came years ago. Go get yourself some !!!

The Freshest seafood in Miami - a standout lunch staple…read more The minuta sandwich is delicious and quickly became one of my favorite go-to lunch spots. The flavors are bright, fresh, and expertly balanced. The bread-to-filling ratio hits the perfect note, making every bite enjoyable. The portions feel satisfying without being overkill, ideal for a midday pick-me-up. The owner and staff are welcoming and incredibly helpful. They create a warm, friendly atmosphere that makes you want to return. Attentive service with thoughtful recommendations if you're undecided. Consistently patient and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience. Overall impression A reliable, top-tier seafood option in Miami that you can trust for quality and consistency. Great for a casual lunch that feels special due to the personable staff and excellent menu. If you're in Miami and craving seafood that truly delivers, this spot is a must-visit for a tasty minuta sandwich and standout service.

This place is pretty epic but only if you're lucky enough to find parking…read more When you unlock that know you are walking into a fresh (aka smells like the ocean place), up front: a fish market, filled with plenty of by the pound options to purchase raw, frying batter seasoning and then some. But the real deal is where you buy what you want and decide how they will cook it for you. Theres a limited number of tables outside for eating, but BYOB and bring your friends so they can lay claim to one of them. We ordered three pounds of shrimp fried and let me tell you the breading HITS. Most are fried with the skin on and honestly the seasoning makes you want to eat it that way too. A side salad, side of tostones, french fries, and an order of conch fritters to add. The side salad wasnt totally fresh (could pass...BYOSalad too), the fries were what you expect, tostones were over pressed but i like them in any format and were a perfect side to the camarones fritos. The conch fritters were extra crisp...pretty good flavor but felt a bit overcooked. Go, get things fried, squeeze the lime and pack it away. Bring the extra goodies to beber and come back again for the fix. The best part of fishing without the fishing.
