    Cajun Pasta
    Kimberly P.

I ordered lunch for pick up and I honestly think they forgot to make my order. I put in the pick up time as 12:16pm and I waited almost 20 mins. It was not crowded so I think that wait time for a pick up is excessive. That aside...I would come here again, maybe sit down and eat inside. I'll update this review if I do that. The lunch specials are very reasonable. I ordered the $9 Cajun Pasta and it is really really good You can add a house made flavored lemonade for $4 (usually $6.50)...I had the watermelon lemonade. Pretty good. FYI...This lunch special is take out only. Being that it was my lunch hour, that 29 min wait really killed a lot of my time. But again, I think it was an oversight and that pasta was so good I'm willing to give it another go.

    Poor Quality Food for 79$

This is an honest review. It's not worth the $39 plus service charge and taxes. The food is awful, and it's not even buffet-style--it's more of an order-as-you-eat setup. The lobster costs extra at $79. Honestly, you're better off going to Harvest Buffet, which is far better than this place. This restaurant feels like a scam.

I've seen advertisements for Fatty Crab and its seemingly omnipresence's on Social Media and was excited about trying this Cajun/Creole place. Will it remind me of home......insert thinking emoji. The place is a nice size and they have definitely taken lessons from those popular joints in my neck of the woods. I met some friends here after work with a couple of their little ones. It was one of the ladies birthday (not actual birthday but she celebrates the entire month) The menu is expansive and there are some items you don't expect to find here in South Florida like Frog Legs and Corn Ribs. Surprising indeed. The offerings are everything from standard seafood boils, soups, Beignets to pasta and rice dishes. We ordered a variety of items for the table and Chicken Fingers for one of the kids Fried Shrimp and myself, mi amiga and one of the other kid ordered Boils we all ordered different Boils, Snow Crabs, Mussels/Crawfish, Mussels/Shrimp. We all got the combination spicy sauce, even the little one. My mussels and crawfish were good the sauce was pretty decent. I tasted something from all the Seafood Boils and the seafood was cooked perfectly. The Frog Legs were also cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Corn was good as well. The service was good even though our waiter was training, he did a good job. The manager came over a couple of times and participated in our shenanigans. A great time was had by all even the little ones enjoyed themselves.

Amazing Seafood Boil!! We came on a Tuesday so they had the AYCE option for $25. We ordered the: -fried calamari -fried catfish -seafood boil: shrimp, clam, crawfish in dynamite sauce. The sauce is SO SO GOOOODD. Our server Anita was so quick and super nice. I will definitely come back when we are in the area again. It is a family owned restaurant. One of the members came by all the tables and thanked us for dining and choosing them. I loved this!!

Went for the Sunday AYCE brunch deal, and it was very delicious! There was great r&b throwback music playing, which I thoroughly enjoyed The food was top-notch, I ate as much snow crabs as I could physically eat. The dynamite sauce is always my go-to. Service was great even considering the busy volume during the day, always making sure our orders were entered and food came with reasonable wait times. Highly recommend coming here for brunch!

All you can eat for $39.99! I'm not a seafood person, but the other 14 people I was with definitely were. Luckily for me, they offer plenty of other dishes and sides that aren't seafood. FYI-- To do the all you can eat deal, everyone at your table has to participate. You can only order three dishes at a time, so for my first round, I went with the chicken tenders (3 pieces), corn ribs (4 pieces), and chicken pesto pasta. The portions were on the smaller side, which I actually appreciated--it made it easier to try more things. Overall, the food was pretty decent, but I know the real stars of the show were the seafood boils! The vibe here is high-energy and loud (they had a DJ), and the service was great. They also have a drink special: 2 drinks for $22.

12/30/2025 7pm. Worse experience ever. I'm not sure how to even begin this review. 30 min wait was no big deal. It was cold so we returned our car to wait. I looked at the front outdoor trash can overflowing with so much trash and the spilt drink inside at the host counter as "maybe they're just short staffed." we sit down at our table and I tell the waitress it's our first time. She looked so annoyed at me as she tried to explain how the menu worked. But so no big deal. Food took forever to come to the table. I'm talking apps took 35 min. Drinks took about the same. I ordered the $25 drink and I had a total of 2 because the wait was just too long! Calamari was complete trash. Fried shrimp was 10/10. Although I asked for some cocktail and was brought 1 that was 1/4 way full and all horseradish. I asked for more not it never arrived. Mac & Cheese was decent with 2 whole shrimp it was decent. Now.... I can toss back a metric ton of crab. Soon after the first seafood boil arrived my face started to tingle. I'm a nurse and I told my husband to go get my EPI pen (I'm allergic to bees). I had already ordered another (2nd) round of snow crab. By the time it arrived my face was so tingly I didn't want to eat or drink anything else. I went to the car. The only things I had different from my family was the drink and clams. The reaction I had was most likely caused from spoiled or properly handled seafood. I'm now at CVS purchasing some Benedryl. There is no kids menu. So you have no option for the kiddos. I will never ever return. Service was slow and rude.

My Instagram algorithm must love The Fatty Crab, because I kept seeing posts about their Endless Cajun Tuesdays. I was excited that my friend and I finally got to check it out this week...and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! For only $25 per person, we each got to select three appetizers at a time from such options as Cajun fried chicken wings, fried calamari, Cajun crispy shrimp, shrimp mac and cheese, fried shrimp po boy, and more. It also included a seafood boil with a choice of shrimp, crawfish, clams, and mussels. We decided to upgrade and add snow crab legs for an additional $15 steamed with their signature spicy dynamite sauce. The portions were plentiful, including the seafood boil, which was about 2lbs for each of us. We washed it down with their 2 for $22 cocktails. I ordered the Sidepiece, which came with Hennessy, Cointreau, and fresh lemon juice. My friend ordered the Deja Vu, which came with Tito's vodka, coconut cream, passion fruit syrup, lychee puree, and lime juice. Honestly, if it wasn't for the two hour time limit, and the fact we both got so full, we could've been there all day eating seafood, enjoying the drinks and vibing to the music. I removed a star because I found their service to be very slow. We requested hot butter to go with our crab legs. By the time they finally brought it to us, we were about finished with our meal. There is plenty of free parking in this shopping plaza. I'll definitely be back.

Staff were friendly. Food was okay. Gumbo was bland and missing the authentic gumbo flavor. The fried shrimp were tasty. Drinks on point.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Doral and the Cajun cuisine is definitely tops. The flavors are authentic and delicious, and the portions are generous. The dining area is clean, well organized, and wonderfully decorated. The ambiance is lively with great music selection. The cocktails are creative and mixed perfectly. The best part is the staff and the service. Everyone is friendly and happy. Miki, who took care of us was simply amazing. She made great suggestions and was always available to make sure we had a great experience. I highly recommend the Fatty Crab for a great time and a truly wonderful meal.

Came here to celebrate one of my friends birthday and the food was pretty amazing. The lobster Mac and cheese is fire with the garlic toast it was a nice touch. The gumbo soup was pretty good and very tasty and spices were perfect. A great way to start your meal. The crabs and mussels were awesome and the dipping sauces were super fire. The waiter was good and very attentive. He got the stuff of what we need right away. The environment was great and cozy.

We rotate locations to keep it fair, and last month brought us to Doral. We started at a cigar shop, wandered into Sports Grill Doral... and never left. At first glance, it feels like a classic sports bar. But spend a little time there and you realize it's operating on a different level. The food is outstanding, the beer selection is strong (especially if you're into IPAs), every major game is covered across wall-to-wall screens, and they even have a DJ on certain nights. What really sets it apart is the service. The manager, Manny, and his team created an experience that felt intentional, not transactional. When they saw we wanted to play dominoes, they didn't hesitate. They set us up with a proper table on the terrace so we could enjoy cigars, order cocktails, and settle in for the night without feeling rushed. That level of awareness and flexibility is rare. If you're in the Doral area and want a place that delivers on food, drinks, atmosphere, and experience, this is it. Whether you're catching a game or running a few rounds of dominoes, this spot earns a return visit.

For example, I got the "sports burger" as an entree but had no idea what toppings/sauce came on it. I got a side of fries, which could've used salt, and asked for a side of BBQ sauce to which they ran out of... on a Friday with a big football game happening. Service was on and food was ok at best. If you're looking for a quick bite, I'm sure this place is good but if you're looking for a proper meal, not sure it's "the place" to go. Also, bring a sweatshirt. The place is VERY cold.

We ordered the Alligator bites ugghh....they were chewy and hard..really bad, so we returned that. Unfortunately our server was not friendly, impatient and didn't come to check on us at all. We were hungry so we just ate it. I had also ordered a small cup of sausage gumbo, a cup and they charged more than $8 it wasn't good, it was way too seasoned and salty and super thick. I added a little bit of water...again another miss. My son ordered some grilled chicken strips with fries. He seemed to enjoy it. That was the only good thing from all of this for a bill of more than $50! I was waiting to pay my bill and again the server was nowhere to be found. I had to ask the hostess, to find him.
