This restaurant deserves nothing less than a 5 star review as an LA staple restaurant. Let me explain why: 1. I've been eating at Cafe Bravo since 2000, so that makes me a loyal customer for over 26 years. 2. Throughout the last 26 years, i've witnessed this business relocate, remodel and renovate, but the food quality has never changed. 3. Their chicken kabob plate and beef plate are my go-tos and they are absolutely delicious! Your mouth will know what I mean the minute your order your plate. 4. After growing up in LA my entire life, I've finally moved up north over 10 years ago and everytime I visit LA -- i stop by all the must eat restaurants and Cafe Bravo is definitely included in that list. Take a look at this beautiful spread! For under $15.00

Cafe Bravo will always be my quick bite spot for Mediterranean food. Always consistent. Juicy tender meats. Great service.

Don't waste your money. There was barely any chicken. Very disappointed. Food was good but the quantity was ridiculous

It tasted fine but there was barely any chicken. I felt like all my money was spent on rice

Stuffed grape leaves, yogurt, and cucumber.

I've been coming to Café Bravo for years, and it has consistently been one of my favorite places to eat. I've never had a bad meal, and the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and the restaurant is always clean and well maintained. It's refreshing to find a place that has maintained such a high standard over the years. I would absolutely recommend Café Bravo to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service.

first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean it smelled. veddy nice. restroom was nice too. not busy at the moment but i'm sure it picks up. small shared parking lot but street parking in front is an option. food tasted great other than the pork kebob. not what I envisioned. the cornish game hen is basically chicken from what I gathered-not too different for the price and the sandwhich was a miss. the rice and chicken kebob were perfect though. juicy and broiled just right and the rice was fluffy and perfect. next time cafe bravo.

If it was up to my son, we would eat here seven days a week :) The Chicken Breast Plate is the families go to with everyone enjoing their own sides... I prefer the Himmus and potato salad, wifey the cucumber yogurt and pasta, my daughter double pasta, my son Hummus and pasta. They cook the meats ro order so you only eat freshly cooked, which is always a plus!!! The staff are very friendly and after visiting a bunch they get to know your usual. They can know sell beer and have 2 big screens to watch the games. All you have to do is ask! They do catering for those who are looking to buy for larger groups or home events. If you have never tried thier food than what are you waiting for!!! If you're looking for a great Mediterranean food spot at even greater prices, then stop in and make this your place!!! Prices are super affordable, and the food is full of flavor and made fresh to order.

Bad service, very expensive higher prices. Cold food delivered. I've asked half and half salad and half rice but no rice it was half salad. No napkins and fork. Asked hummus and tomatoes with cucumbers but it was only tomatoes with cucumbers no hummus. Didn't enjoy my food. No sumac either. Very disappointing. All they care about money not a great service. I won't buy again and I will let my friends know too.

Veggie platter. Great! Edit: cabbage salad has NOO flavor or dressing. Wtf lmao

Cafe Bravo I love you guys! The quality of your food is fantastic and it's always so fresh and hot when I get it. You have spectacular vegetarian options which of course I adore since I don't eat meat. Please can you include more mushrooms in your vegetarian platter? It is normally a staple in vegetarian grilled options so it would be fantastic if you did more mushrooms and less eggplant or zucchini. Thank you very much

George was our server and he was excellent. We were very fortunate to have George as a waiter because we love good food and like to pair it with good wine and George really knew his stuff. George started us on an appetizer he recommended called Grilled Spanish octopus. It was the best octopus I ever tasted full of delicious flavors. He paired that with a white Greek wine called Gavalas Assyrtiko Santorini. This wine opened with a beautiful bouquet of stone fruit that paired perfectly with spices of the octopus and was also delicious on its own. For the entree , George recommended the Moussaka eggplant and the pastitsio that is layered with pasta, sirloin , and bechamel sauce. Both were delicious. George recommended Naoussa Xinomavro red wine. It was delicious. I highly recommend Greek Bistro restaurant and if you like to pair wine with food , hopefully you will be fortunate enough to have George as your server.

TBH this place was one of the choices cause it was closest to us while we ran our demands. After parking in the garage, we gathered our dog and popped in fur lunch. Our server Derrick is memorable, exceptional, patient, knowledgeable, quick, intelligent, and friendly. The place is so amazingly designed. My husband was having a difficult day and Derrick truly had the best people skills navigating us through the menu and the tough day. Truly, after the whole 2020 pandemic thing - dining out has just about lost its shine and charm, but the restaurant's layout and the human experience Derrick brought to us was reminiscent of a time before. My husband felt at ease and even ordered a glass of wine which he took the recommendation with immediacy. He is usually resistant to suggestions too. Highly resistant. So that was even more pivotal to the experience. Our dog was even in the happiest of moods. All around this was therapeutic AND I haven't even go to the food yet. Wow. The FOOD. THE EFFING FOOOOOD!!!! Whatever the cook needs give it. The texture and creaminess plus tanginess of the tzatziki- it was delicious and perfect. The lemon potatoes - they reminded me so much of my grandma's growing up. The lunch special was excellent and truly it's a staple in Los Angeles dining because where else? For sure this is one of my favorites from here on out. My dog, my husband, and myself all satisfied. The day changed entirely after coming here- truly. This is a diamond of a place. Thank you.

But it is without question the most important Armenian restaurant in the world. Armenians are simultaneously a diaspora people, a people of the book, and an old country people. Therefore, odd as it may seem, it is entirely appropriate that the most important Armenian restaurant in the world should not be located in Armenia at all, but should serve a diaspora community in a way that makes them feel connected to home, both interns of cuisine and in terms of communal warmth. Technically, this is more of a Lebanese restaurant than an Armenian restaurant, but that hardly matters. It's a place of celebration, merriment, laughter, and tears. In short, it is THE gathering place for Armenians in Southern California. Because of its fame and importance, the thing that is consistently overlooked about this restaurant is just how excellent the food is. Bring a Lebanese expat here and you will invariably hear them say after the first bite of hummus that it doesn't compare to the hummus they used to enjoy in Beirut. By the middle of the bowl, they will say that it actually is not as bad as they first thought. By the end of the bowl they will declare that this hummus ranks among the greatest they have ever tasted. Carousel does not overwhelm you. It seduces you. And you'll be back.

Here's how I think the ones I've had stack up.... 1. Mini Kabob. Non traditional dressing but the flavor is well balanced with fresh ingredients and tender chicken thigh meat on a very good tortilla. Slightly pricier than the others but worth it. 2. Ggiata. The best of the more traditional grilled chicken wraps with crunchy croutons inside and an outstanding tortilla. Their traditional Caesar dressing on the side is very good. The Venice location tastes better than the one in Highland Park. 3. Highly Likely (Highland Park). Very good wrap but without any croutons or crunchy elements. Solid tortilla but the dressing on the side isn't as flavorful as the top two. 4. Sweetgreen (Pasadena). Best of the chain restaurants.
