I guess until now I didn't realize that I hadn't ever been to a real Italian cafe, and this was exactly that. It was authentic, quaint, it felt like home really. The women that helped me were very sweet, they were attentive in helping me quickly, but then also allowed me to just sit back and enjoy myself a bit while resting from all my traveling. One woman was working there for my entire stay, the other left early, but the former was sweet and joking with other customers, assumably regulars. There were also roses on all the tables, and everything was ornate or in a cute display filled with daily cakes and baked goods!
I had a Nutella milkshake, which was amazing! I'd never heard of that before, but it was delicious, and also prepared so artistically, the presentation was nice as well. Later, I ordered the meat platter and it was also such a nice looking delicate place of meats, mozzarella, salad, olives, and bread. I really enjoyed myself, mostly because the food was delicious, but also everything was so simple and comfortable, both the atmosphere and decor and the preparation of my meals. You can quickly tell that the chef/baker likes what she does, and is good at it. read more
