    Salad with egg added

I'm not a connoisseur of any kind, but this place has the best rainbow salad and avocado toast. I usually add a poached egg to both. It's my favorite way to start the day, whether we're on the river or heading out toward Bodega Head. The location is hard to beat, right where the Russian River meets the ocean, with plenty of picnic tables and outdoor seating to take it all in.

I have never once been disappointed with this stellar cafe and today was no exception. . The location, ambience, service & food are equally fantastic. I enjoyed a tasty smoked salmon roll (it was a tad dry so next time I think I'd ask for avocado on it), a delicious golden turmeric latte & their scrumptious salted chocolate chip cookie. And all with a spectacular view!

Food and service until 4 pm, cute inside and outdoor seating with views of the bay The yogurt parfait was decadent and yogurt was superrrrr creamy with loads of honey and granola The vanilla latte was good, pretty standard Apple Pay is accepted

My wife wanted to do something fun today so I suggested we go to the Cafe Aquatica in Jenner, CA. We intentionally took a long route to get there so we could enjoy being out on the country and seeing all the country roads and all the wildlife along the road. When we got there, they were very busy and it turned out that usually we go during the weekdays so we did not know they had live music on the weekend and we absolutely enjoyed it. These are local guys and gals that are in love with music and what they do and they share it with people that come there on a tip basis. Please tip generously if you can. They bring a special feeling and emotion to this area that we always had, but it got elevated. We had the crab sandwich. It was absolutely amazing. It comes with their in-house, homemade pickles, and my wife, and I shared one of those and had a table right next to the water. I just sat there and bathed in her radiance as she enjoyed the view, the wildlife, and the music and the companionship. I'm almost afraid to share too much about this place because it's one of my faves to go to and I don't ever want to get there and find out there's 1 million people and I can't get in. Just so you know, they have an enclosed area if it's windy and cool that you can eat an outside. They also have an inside area and they have an outside of the outside area where you sit at picnic tables right next to the river. There are no bad views from anywhere in this place. The food is always fresh and made it right there and the staff is very helpful and friendly. There's plenty of parking on the sides and the bathrooms are nearby. If I could give six stars, I would give six stars.

A waterside cafe with a casual quirky atmosphere. A beautiful view of the Russian River meeting the Pacific Ocean. Stopped in for breakfast prior to a hike out to Goat Rock. They gave a few counter seats but mainly outside seating ( some covered). There are 2 Adirondack chairs on an elevated portion of the deck- very premium spot for the best view. They have a limited menu featuring local ingredients. Very relaxing spot to eat your meal. They have coffee, pastries, breakfast and lunch items. Orders are placed inside and you pick up your order from an outside window. I ordered the lox bagels - very good. Pups are allowed on leash. I didn't see any restrooms and the parking is limited in front of the cafe along the hwy. Worth a visit!

Drove here after a hike in Bodega Bay! You order at the counter inside and pick up your food from the window outside. The line was pretty long around noon on a Monday, but it moved quickly. Couple things to keep in mind: during our visit there was patchy cell service and no wifi (not sure if that's typical). Also the restrooms are the public ones next door at the visitor center. Ordered the avocado toast on focaccia bread which was tasty, though a little heavy on the seasoning for my liking. The real showstopper is the view. Most of the chairs have attached tables to set food on, making it easy to sit and enjoy the river and sunshine. A lovely spot to unwind!

This was a wonderful place to stop and eat on our way to Gualala AMBIANCE: Pet friendly providing a water bowl. Lots of seating outdoors providing an amazing view and barstools inside, however, the parking is limited. SERVICE: You order at the counter inside and they have a pick-up window outside next to the water dispenser. FOOD: We all ordered the Crab Roll at $22.00 each. It was good but served on a small round bun with an Aioli sauce and sweet pickles on the side, BUT, as soon as we started to eat the wasps swarmed in on the meal and made it dangerous to take a bite, so a lot of people went back to their cars to finish their meal. So, BEECAREFUL! And that's the rest of this buzzin story!

Cute cafe bordering the area where the Russian River meets the ocean. On the weekends. you can catch live music. There is outdoor patio seating as well as covered outdoor seating which comes in handy when it is really windy outside. Makes the perfect setting to relax on a sunny day! You order at the counter and then they call out when your order is up. Daughter got the lox bagel ($16) and I got the pesto portobello sandwich ($14). Really enjoyed my sandwich, the portobello mushrooms were marinated. Came with a side of house made pickles. The bagel however was pretty crunchy and daughter said she has had better. You can order bottles of local wine for $30. Would totally drop by again!

This place can get a little busy, mainly because the view and vibes are perfect. We grabbed an early morning coffee and a pastry and sat outside, bundled up and enjoyed the morning. The art inside is for sale and I would encourage everyone to take a look and consider purchasing. Great little coffee shop.

Stopped by after a hike and happy we did. Parking is very limited so keep that in mind. We stopped by to grab a latte which was pretty good. We happened to be lucky enough to show up when they were having someone play live music. They have outdoor seating overlooking the Russian River going out into the ocean. They have a number of picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy your food/drink and listen to the music. We only ordered the drinks which were reasonably priced. Their food menu looked very delicious BUT the prices are a little high for what it is. With that said 100% recommend stopping by at least for some live music.

Cafe Aquatica is our favorite stop on the Sonoma County coast. We always order the clam chowder, a crab sandwich, and a coffee or beer, then sit on the covered patio watching the water--it's perfect every time. The staff is very friendly and makes us feel like family at this point. We're really looking forward to the Jenner Outpost opening next door, so we can enjoy the same great vibe with a glass of wine. Definitely make this your new destination spot or your go to! We have!

What a delightful market this is, a must stop during any road trip up this way. You can get nearly anything you'd ever need from toothpaste, milk, cheese, chips, detergent, on and on... they even have two gas pumps. They sell ice too. There's a small cafe serving incredibly good things, including hand made sandwiches (we had a 'Rocketman' and an 'Architect'... being an Architect I loved being so honored!). Both sandwiches were utterly fresh, delicious and tasty. They have several specialty type sandwiches, as were these two, or you may customize one. They sell coffees and other drinks too. There's a bar type set up and a cozy back area for sitting to eat, plus some outdoor places too. The store is simple, rustic but ever so comfortable, organized and clean. The people working here are upbeat and friendly and you feel so welcomed, and utterly pleased you came in to get something. Great place for a drink, snack or basic groceries and product. Do stop in and check it out!

It's an unassuming, un-aesthetic sandwich but just simply real crab with light mayo and celery dressing. Only regret not getting 2 bc I'd have to brave the line again. Seemed to only have 1 person taking orders and also distributing orders so things were slow. Chowder was also my favorite one from this trip and my kids loved their chili (they sell bread loaves on the side if you need a dipper). Pro tip: not much parking, prepare for side of road and walk. That way we can skip the line and get a taste of this first thing in the morning! We thought this was gonna be a heavy breakfast, but I think portion came out just right. Between my partner and I, we shared a Crab Sandwich, Manhattan Clam Chowder and a Bay Shrimp Cocktail. Pretty much no wait for our order since there was no line. They have a seating area outdoor, but it kinda looks like they just manage the kitchen and everything else is self service. The Crab Sandwich was delicious!! There was a generous amount of crab stuffed in a roll that came out warm. It wasn't too saucy and the sauce didn't overwhelm the taste of the crab meat. The roll was neither too dense or fluffy - has a bit of a crunch and bite to it. I think my favorite this morning was the Manhattan Clam Chowder though. Probably because it was a grey and chilly morning, so this bowl was really comforting. I like the mild tartness of the tomato base. There's also lots of chewy bits in the chowder from the seafood they add on there. It tasted really good! Last but not least, the shrimp cocktail. Taste was great, but I just wasn't feeling this for this morning. My partner liked it though! Fresh tasting little bites and the cocktail sauce was great in adding some extra tangy flavor. I'm glad we checked this off our list! Spud provided an awesome start to our morning. Of course I wouldn't mind having this again, but definitely not when there is a wait.
