Quick service, clean environment and great food. I've never been disappointed, so I recommend Cafe Aladdin.

What a special place! My friend and I went and service is exactly what you want, the atmosphere is warm and cozy--it made me feel like I wasn't in Fargo on a cold January day for a bit! Our food was, as always, excellent. And I say the following with much thought and conviction: BEST FRIES IN TOWN. read more

I didn't know what I wanted to eat tonight and someone at work mentioned they were going to have Cafe Aladdin. It's been a long time since I ate there, but I remembered it always being good. It was a Tuesday night and I wasn't sure they were open as no-one was there. I ordered the jumbo Gyro and was not disappointed! I ordered it to go and it was ready in a flash. The inside is very nice, clean, almost quaint and the staff were very friendly! I'm glad I got the jumbo as I was really hungry. I always have intentions of eating with my hands but there's always so much sauce and fillings that I always resort to a fork. I would not want to eat this in my car, as it would be all over me! As always, delicious and some of the best in town! read more

Cafe Aladdin is in my opinion awesome! Sure it's smaller inside to dine in but the food is really good. This is a must should you want the experience of a tasty middle East flavor. read more

Today we ordered in at work and it was my first time trying Cafe Aladdin. It was delicious and we all ordered different entries. I will definitely be going back to try all their appetizers. My coworkers ordered their fries which I don't normally eat and I had one - it was fantastic! Great spice on them. I would highly recommend Cafe Aladdin! read more

Food was amazing. I will definitely be returning for some great food. I can't believe this place has been here as long as it has and I didn't know about it. read more

Cafe Aladdin - Food was amazing!!!!! - Greek Near Me - Fargo, North Dakota

I tried the Taco Pita and it was good. I prefer more flavor but overall I was not disappointed.

I always order the Egyptian rice veggie combo platter with chipotle hummus, tabouli which is an up charge when replacing the salad (salad is good btw, I just eat there to often and want a change) and tahini sauce instead of the red sauce. I am always grateful for their rose water lemonade! My version of vegetarian comfort food when visiting Milwaukee...always consistent and satisfying. read more

We stopped here today for lunch for the first time. It has been on my list of places to go. It did not disappoint. We were the first ones there a little after 11 AM. I ordered number 18, Shish Kebab (Souvlaki). I ordered rice on the side and it comes with their house salad. The lamb meat was tender and had great flavor. The rice was seasoned perfectly. The house salad was preferred for a little crunch on the side. I drizzled their Tzatziki Sauce over everything. That stuff does not suck. Very tasty. My mom ordered the 1, Gyro (Shawirma). She enjoyed it a lot. I would've taken a bite but I was stuffed after I finished my meal. The shish kebab platter was a lot of food for lunch but I managed to eat pretty much all of it. The restaurant isn't that big but there's plenty of room to maneuver with an electric wheelchair. Easy access through the front door. I will be back. read more

Amazing gyros. Best gyro in Fargo / Moorhead hands down. Highly recommend!! Nice little shop to buy foods for home as well.

As usual, excellent food at a good price. The two owners were the only one w working the night we were there, and we came in after a large group, so it took a little while to get our food. Very much worth the ~15 minute wait! read more

Food was terrific, with many authentic Middle Eastern items. Vegetarians will be in heaven here. The hummus was the perfect blended smoothness, and the dolmades had the accustomed tang of marinated grape leaves in combination with the hint of mint mixed in with a soft and sticky rice stuffing. The lamb souvlaki was hearty and tender cubes of charred and seasoned lamb. The same with the chicken souvlaki. The pita bread was warm and soft, perfect dipping utensil for their hummus and baba ghannouj. The only complaint would be that you have to somewhat serve yourself, but the amount of great food that you get in comparison to a really affordable price makes this spot well worth the try, especially if you are a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine. I will definitely revisit this cafe again, and perhaps try the baklava that is showcased as you walk in the front door! read more

It was our first visit to the 32nd Ave location. We've stopped by the 6th Avenue location a few times, but that was over 5 years ago. The menu remains the same and I feel this location on 32nd is much bigger. On a Sunday afternoon we were the only patrons here. Gyro plate with a side of rice and a Greek Salad was what we ordered. The gyro plate came in with a side of fries, and this was fixed quickly by the owner/chef. While serving sizes are large, the food itself was mediocre. Fries seemed a bit on the cold side. The meat in the gyro seemed to be lacking in flavor. Wish Fargo had more options for Middle Eastern and Greek Cuisine. read more

We first went to Aladin Cafe over 30 years ago when they first opened on Broadway. They were the best gyros we'd had until then and they are still the best gyros. Generous servings, tasty tzatziki sauce, fresh vegetables and a great pita all combine to make a meal we want to come back to over and over again. read more

After having an awful gyro at a different restaurant a few days prior, I had to try Cafe Alladin to get the bad taste out of my mouth.....and they succeeded! Apparently strip mall store fronts on 32nd Ave S are the place to put your restaurant if you serve really good ethnic food. I love Lucy's down the street and now this place is going to make my dining decisions tough when driving through Fargo. Service was fast and friendly and the food was outstanding. I will admit that for the price was I expecting a little more meat but in the end I was certainly satisfied and very happy I stopped. The meat was incredible, the bread was fresh and soft and the salad was delicious. The rice, while the taste was certainly unlike any I've had before, was good. read more

Cafe Aladdin just off of University and 32nd is a great place for either lunch or dinner. The venue is well-decorated in a Mediterranean/Middle-eastern decor; something, for me, I feel is very exotic and comfortable at the same time. I've sampled several different dishes including the gyro plate, kabobs, and hummus and I've never been disappointed. As I've mentioned before, I'm a transplant from Southern California where places like this are pretty commonplace because of the diverse ethnic makeup of my home state. So, I was very happy when I found this place because it was a way for me to enjoy the tastes of a culture that I'm enamored with. The food is great. Pitas are warm and soft. The lamb and chicken are seasoned wonderfully and cooked to perfection; not greasy or overly dry. The veggies that come with dishes are fresh and taste like they just came from the market. I've marked that the place is good for kids, which I think it is - providing that your children are not super-picky eaters. I feel (as a non-parent) that encouraging them to try something diverse like this (in North Dakota) would do them a great service. read more

Awesome amount of flavors , freshly made and to your custom ! Great atmosphere clean and friendly staff . Awesome deserts !

I have been coming to Cafe Aladdin since I moved to the Fargo area in 1995. Back then they just had one store downtown. They have branched out now and have a few more restaurants but the quality of food has remained consistent. Their portions are generous and whether you are vegetarian or a meat lover they have something for you. I generally gravitate to their Gyro special with rice and a coke. If you are especially hungry I suggest the Gyro plate. It really is enough food for two. The Gyro meat is 80% Lamb and 20% beef always done to perfection. Their rice also is always done to perfection with just the right amount of spices. They have many other options on the menu as well. I strongly suggest you try any of the Fargo Cafe Aladdins. You wont be disappointed. read more

Gyro was not what I expected and the falafels, although huge, just didn't taste the way that I was hoping. For what I paid I expected more than styrofoam plates, cups, plastic utensils and self serve drinks. The staff, however, was very friendly and fast. The hummus was really creamy and smooth but the Turkish coffee served in gold inlay cups was the best part of the meal and is what added the extra star. read more

Cafe Aladdin - Wonderful hummus, falafels are huge and the seasoning on the meat was stellar. A nice finish with some Turkish coffee...yum! - Greek Near Me - Fargo, North Dakota

I have passed this location many times and never stopped. Whereas some say ignorance is bliss, my ignorance kept me from enjoying the great food at Cafe Aladdin. Everything was great and the service was excellent. If you're interested in great food or just something new, Cafe Aladdin is a great choice. read more

Totally fresh and tasty. Pita soft and pliant, salad crisp, feta creamy and sharp, falafel crispy and well spiced. Super nice service too. Such a relief when traveling and faced with fast food landscape of super processed homogenized options. read more

Consistently fresh, delicious Greek food! We have been going to all locations of this restaurant and haven't been let down.

The lamb and beef gyro is amazing! We love the baklava too! The service is always great.

The best. I used to work next door and eat here at least once a week. It's been over 7 years and they still know my order when I'm in a few times a year! I'd love to try something new but I can't not get a gyro. They're perfect. The rice is perfect. The fries are delicious. It's so good. read more

I am a fan of this restaurant, all three locations, though they seem to be run slightly differently. I usually get the gyro plate with rice instead of the pita to keep it gluten free and it comes with lettuce and cucumber sauce. The Turkish coffee is wonderful and worth waiting for. Order it when ordering your meal so that it is ready when you're done with the meal and ready for coffee. read more

Not sure how this place gets good reviews. Greek salad was mostly a pile of iceberg lettuce. Falafel and gyros tasteless. Place was kind of dirty. If you know Mediterranean foods at all, stay away from this place. read more
