I enjoyed the history of India on the wall dating back to 3600 BC. We ordered vegetable samosas, Garlic naam, Chicken Biryani and palak paneer both at medium heat. Somosas came out quickly nice and hot. The pastry was crispy and the filing had some heat but it was not the most flavorful that I have had. The garlic naan was superb, fresh, hot, and tender. The biryani was had nice chunks of chicken thighs with a good amount of heat. The palak paneer was delicious, spinach and paneer, just the way I like it. The service was attentive and kind. Overall, I would recommend Passage to India and will definitely go back on my next trip to Fargo. (No Pictures, I was too hungry to wait).

When most people order fry bread, I'll bet they're not thinking about its origins. Over a sensory ago indigenous people were forced to make a 300 mile walk to be relocated and then provided "staples "from the government to survive, some of them being flour, lard, and sugar. The makings of fry bread. Tee's pays homage to this history through her menu items, the decor, and the spirited resilient love that she puts in every food item she makes. I had the wild rice chili and the "fall apart" tacos. Wild rice has another interesting tie to the indigenous people, and she loves and honors that tradition in her food. Both items are excellent. You can never go wrong with a good bowl of chili on a cool day. And the fall apart tacos were exactly that the shell is light and flaky, and the meat and toppings are flavorful. I've had both the beef and the chicken , and both are excellent. Maybe she'd let you have one of each so you can try them both. The food is flavorful, the decor and music are soulful and spirited, and the service is feisty and friendly and welcoming. I only wish that the chili was served and a container that was compostable or a separate recycling for them rather than using the packaging she does. But it's a small point not to take away from the entire experience of the restaurant.

The spring rolls were perfectly balanced and the sauce was delightful. All of the flavors blended really beautifully, and there was a perfect proportion of meat to vegetables. Absolutely perfect. The Tony is perhaps best described as a sort of Thai chips and salsa. It was perfect for just some munching, and the peanut sauce was sweet, savory, thick and delicious. I'm so honored they brought it out to us, and I KNOW I'll be ordering it again the next time I make it out there. My dad had the spicy basil with beef. He had it on spice level 4. They offer a spice level of 1-10, and they don't recommend going above a 3, but they will always add more chilis if you'd like. Dad had considered doing a 5, but he found that the 4 was hot, and anything more would have detracted from the flavors (in his opinion). Mom had the bean sprouts, no spice added. She found that it was boring, which the waitress had warned her, but she still found it okay. I had the fried sesame oil and black pepper with chicken, which was really good. Mom thinks when she comes back that she'll get this one but without any chilis added. I think when I come back, I'll either get it at 3 again or drop down to a 2 if I want a more mild heat. Either way, I can say with confidence that we WILL be back, and this restaurant had fantastic food and a kind staff.
