This is an amazing place!! We stumbled upon it last year and LOVE eating there whenever we can! The staff is always friendly and they let you know things are made to order - which can take time - but the food is WORTH IT. Their food does not sit under a heat lamp or steamer getting dried out and tasteless. The food is made by George, a man who cooks better than your mama. The food is full of flavor. You can taste the fresh high quality ingredients. I dare you to try and make this at home. For those complaining about price, have you been to the grocery store lately? Some helpful tips for you. 1. You will probably have to wait. Sit down, shut up and deal with it. Or better yet, visit with George and his beautiful wife and tell them how much we appreciate having this establishment in our community. 2. Order well in advance so these two hardworking people aren't overwhelmed. 3. If you don't have time to wait, go somewhere else. Enjoy your premade burger and soggy fries. How could this place not get 5 stars? Food is made from scratch. It's absolutely delicious and you get so much of it! The owner and cook was amazing. I understood I had to wait a bit and it was worth every second. He told me this would be the highlight of my 21 day road trip and he wasn't kidding. We were able to save some for the next day for a perfect picnic at a rest stop. We ordered the gyros plate, which is what everyone recommended on Yelp. The food is fresh and plentiful (pricey but reasonable, given the huge amount) but the wait is crazy long. I mean crazy, crazy long. There isn't enough seating in the pleasant, tiled dining room. We ordered from the counter at noon and waited 80 minutes for our food. That's not an exaggeration. Stood waiting until a two person couch perpendicular to the counter opened up. Crazy. One steadfast but exhausted cook, probably the owner. One avuncular window cashier who's also the waitress, maybe the co-owner. The wait is a real problem, especially since when we ordered she didn't warn us. I can't give five stars when we weren't warned about the wait. Crazy. Try their huge gyro bowl but call ahead to order at least an hour before you arrive; if you show up without ordering ahead, bring a good novel to read and also your patience. read more

I've lived in the area for close to 20 years and GPs consistently has the most delicious food, and the most generous portions of any restaurant in the area. Stopped while passing through Fargo. What a gem! We were hungry for salads after 2 days of highway fast food. We had Greek salads with grilled chicken. The salads were fresh with delicious, authentic feta cheese. The chicken was well seasoned and the pita with tzatziki was lovely. The tzatziki was so creamy! A word of caution - the portions are huge! One large salad would have fed us both. The only complaint was the tomatoes wedges on the salad - a bit plastic tasting but they are not in season. Some grape tomatoes would have been better. I highly recommend this restaurant and if I am ever in Fargo again I will come back to try some of their Greek specialities. read more

Last night we didn't want to cook and decided on two simple Gyro's and a side of fries to share (it's perhaps a bit odd to get fries at a Greek restaurant- but there's are some of the best in town. Absolutely loved this place. Didn't go inside so can't speak on atmosphere or cleanliness but one of the best gyros I've ever had and it was MASSIVE! They piled this thing up with meat to the point where you couldn't even roll it up without eating a bit of it first. With how skimpy so many places are with their meats this was a nice surprise.
