I ordered their pistachio raspberry croissant which is my favorite. It has a nice outer crunch texture with a jammy and inside. The texture of crunchy pistachios is amazing too. The speck and the egg pastry is also unique with a boiled egg and bacon inside with tiny mustard seeds on top for a tart bite. It's delicious and makes a pretty hardy pastry. I also enjoyed their coffee from ritual which is a plus because not a lot of cafes or bakeries carry ritual around the area. This place is a gem! I also recommend eating upstairs where you can see pastry chefs in the bottom, cooking and cleaning. It's awesome watching their craft and witnessing a great team work. I will definitely be back with my wife and son. I will order and try new things!

Instead of adding a fresh and sweet mango flavor, the texture and sourness took away from the overall experience. I appreciate the effort and presentation, but the flavors didn't meet my expectations, especially for the mango cake. I am absolutely in love with Schubert's princess cake. This may explain why the princess cake at the Cakery has often been hailed as very similar to the one from Schubert's. Even though the Cakery has changed hands. They still offer memorably delicious cakes. I couldn't resist a slice of strawberry cream cake for lunch which was moist and light and ohh sooo good. Picked up a princess cake to enjoy with family and friends tonight. The verdict, while similar, I still prefer the Schubert's princess cake for its lightness and less sweet finish. Schubert's princess cake also has a more predominant almond flavor. Both memorably delicious. In fact, the consensus over the dinner table amongst friends and family was deeeelicious! And my cousin, who's the most important critique says I can bring the princess cake from either place over anytime! Would definitely return for either cake or to try the double chocolate cake which is Rosa's recommendation or coffee crunch cake that Mike C. recommended for next time. At the cashier, they have boxes of buns sold in bulk- black sesame buns, BBQ pork buns, and vegetable buns. Great for families. Other notable Asian pastries are individually wrapped such as the pineapple bun, cocktail bun, hotdog with green onion and taro buns. There are also cakes available, premade or made to order.
