The pierogis were delicious especially when eaten with sour cream and I can tell that those were made with care. The kielbasa with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes were delicious too but I wished that the mashed potatoes had a little more salt or butter in it. The house coffee was fine, and the onions could use a little bit less salt since it was on the saltier side. The inside had a homey and cozy feel to it which perfectly fits the chilly autumn vibe. To make things even better, the owners who run the restaurant are very friendly and went out of their way to initiate a conversation with me. Overall, I would definitely return the next time I'm in Columbia.

Fun little polish place in downtown Columbia. The pirogies and borscht soup were fantastic. The soup was spicy and is served ahead of the main dish. The service is slower but they warn you up front. Would avoid if you are in a rush.

What a cute place ! Also I met the sweetest owners I think. Madison and Antwone were very gracious to me even though they had a full house. I did take out and I enjoyed my dish thoroughly. It's a cabbage meal and I also had a beet drink. I don't know the names of the dishes as I am not familiar with polish food but I will definitely be back. Yum !

I always appreciate finding a place that is a bit of a diamond in the rough. As I approach the building here at Café Poland, I thought maybe I should keep walking. But I stopped poked my head in there very small restaurant and a lovely young lady named Madison with a big smile said welcome. That's all it took. Now I'm sitting outside on their little patio in the sun having a beer and enjoying a wonderful meal. Just try it I think you'll love it.

This place is small, adorable, and has the cutest little Polish grandmother in the kitchen. It's like stepping into someone's home rather than being in a restaurant, but the ambiance can't make up for the quality of the food, especially when two appetizers and two mains served on paper plates will cost you $80. The Pierogis and the Gulash were on the better side of the menu, but neither was particularly well-balanced since I wished the Pierogis were less soggy and had more flavor to them, and the Gulash was overly salty. The Polish Crepe and the Golabki were all-around a bit disappointing. The Golabki tomato sauce was sweet with no other real nuance, and the texture of the crepe was like almost like a fried tortilla. Overall, I would say enjoy the ambiance from the outside and get some Polish food another time.

We had a wonderful experience at Café Poland, Antoine provided the most excellent and memorable service, truly a remarkably kind individual. The food was very good. The crepes, both sweet and savory are to die for! The plating of the strawberry crepe was adorable. Service was quick and fast, the interior of the cafe was cozy and the inviting. Definitely a must visit spot!

We had been wanting to try this place for a while, and finally got around to it. We just got an appetizer to go. The lady who helped get our order was super friendly. - Pierogi (5/5): So yummy! Definitely tasted homemade. We got the mix to try different flavors, like potato and bacon, spinach and cheese. Comes with cooked onions and sour cream. Perfect snack!

This quiet 4-table cafe has the ambience of your great aunt's kitchen. No fuss, no frills, politics on the TV, old photos on the walls in mismatched frames. The pirogies were scrumptious, the Gołąbki was sweet, with the sauce just thick enough to cling to the cabbage rolls. The potatoes were perfectly cooked, but needed a bit of salt in my opinion. The bay leaf and parsley were a bit forward for me, and stayed with me for hours. The service was quick, and no-nonsense, the portions gracious, but a bit pricey for a paper plate meal.

The Polish version of my book recently hit a sales milestone! To celebrate, I had this wonderful meal at Cafe Poland. Dziękuję Ci!

I'm not Polish nor am I all that familiar with their cuisine, so I can't tell you how "authentic" this place is. But I can tell you that all the food is amazing. I wrote a book, The Art of Taking it Easy, which was translated into Polish and has been selling very well over there. To celebrate, I thought it would be cute if I popped into a Polish restaurant for some Pierogies for a quick photo. We were traveling the midwest and Google led us to Columbia, which luckily was on our tour. After snapping a few pics, everyone in my party was super pleased with the food and we ordered nearly everything on the menu. And the owner is a wonderful woman from Poland. She prepared our food, brought it out for the shoot. She even read my book in Polish. I don't know, seems rather authentic to me. Check it out, you'll love it. And don't forget to take it easy.

This place is a hidden gem! The pierogis are so tender. I was just passing through town for work and I stumbled on it...I'm so glad I stopped. Check it out if you are in the area if you want to get off the beaten path and eat a home cooked meal.

My first time visiting Cafe Poland and I can say that I am amazing! The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with super friendly staff. Our service was quick and friendly as if I was visiting a friend's house for dinner. The food was fresh, savory and delicious. I will be returning!

Yum yum yum! Super homey peroigis, really yummy sauerkraut stew, yummy sausage and sauerkraut. I love this kind of food! Sweetest owner who told me to study up on how to cook peroigis properly before buying frozen ones lol.

I come here about once or twice a month. Pierogies are pretty good. Would also recommend the sausage, potatoes and kraut plate.

I placed my order and tipped and waited on my juice only to see her fumbling to make my juice and she seemed extremely stingy in filling the cup and even had to juice an additional apple and the cup still wasn't full to where I would expect. On the pic I will attach she filled it to right below the first line from bottom of the cup. By the time I sipped 2 times it was done. It's already small cup .... The least you can do is fill the cup. My goodness. Or raise your price and give a good portion or maybe the worker didn't want to work too much today. It was my first time in and I just say I was disappointed.

I would definitely order again, as as stated earlier condiments, such as hot sauce is needed. Especially with someone like me who loves spice and flavor. Pricing was decent for what we got between the two of us. Hospitality 10 out of 10.
