Walked into cafe Mareva for gluten free options in Paris. I ordered the poke bowl with salmon , and was a bit taken a back by the fact that the salmon was smoked and not fresh (as I am used to from other poke places ) It was a bit too salty for my taste although the ingredients were fresh . The staff was very nice and accommodating and the restaurant is modern and vibrant. Would probably order something different next time but will be going back ! read more

The whole menu is gluten free, and it doesn't taste like it is so this is a great place if you have gluten sensitive friends. The pancakes were just like regular pancakes - very fluffy and tasty. One of the only Gluten Free breakfasts in Paris. Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere! I highly recommend it!

As a local foodie, I come here about once or twice a week. My favourite is the lemon meringue tart, paired with an espresso. The new Steak waffle is absolutely delicious as well. All gluten and lactose-free, very yummy flavours. I might also just pop in briefly to pick up a slice of banana-bread or a cookie to go. Saturday/Sunday it gets very busy for lunch/brunch. Unless you have booked a table, 12h00-15h00 might be difficult time to get seated last minute, but do try anyway if you are in the neighbourhood! I do highly recommend calling in beforehand or making advance reservations. Little tip: Outside of 'rush-hour' it is actually more cosy as you can chat a little with the owner and relax a little bit. Friday/Saturday they are open late for dinner and also serve very good French vine (from the Luberon area) The wifi is excellent as well ;-) read more

I love this place! It's good quality, healthy, cute, they play good music and it's a nice place to sit for a long time and do some work as they have free WiFi. Not to mention one of the only gluten free places in Paris with actually good food for reasonable prices and filling portions :) read more

Stumbled upon this place our first morning in Paris and were absolutely elated to see the majority of their menu was majority gluten free and/or vegan! The place itself is easy to find and the interior is very simple and cute. The girl working was very friendly, helpful and also happened to speak English which was very useful. I walked in here on the first day I arrived to Paris. My brother in law wanted to eat at this café mareva and we did. The employees were very welcoming which was a relieve since we don't know a word of French! Anyway the menu items where limited, I ordered the English breakfast (pancake,bacon, and two fried eggs) the bacon and eggs where good but the pancake sucked! Almost entirely gluten-free and dairy-free bistro with fun foods, exquisite cakes, and fantastic coffee! Great for breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee and afternoon cake. Laid-back atmosphere and super friendly staff, that are enjoyable to chat with (our waitress blew us away with her fluency in 5 languages!). We went here shortly after arriving in Paris. I had sweet potato waffles with chicken in a creamy curry sauce. It tasted very fresh and completely "French". Although I was starving, I got plenty full from it. But the GF/DF desserts looked so amazing, that I decided to go for cake at noon (I usually wait until afternoon for cake). I got a cappuccino with soya milk along - both were fantastic! I must say, I did not find such good coffee for the rest of our stay in Paris! My vegan partner had an open-faced sandwich with homemade peanut-butter and jam. It was a nice-tasting snack. I must say though, there are not a whole lot of vegan options. So if you are vegan or cannot eat eggs, please check first with the menu or call, before making the trip out here. read more

I stopped here twice during my stay in Paris. Everything was soooooo good!! The baked goods tasted amazing and the kale smoothie bowl was such a good reset after too much cheese But right now i just want the guacamole waffle, seriously the best waffle i've had in ages! Folks at Cafe Mareva are cheerful and nice to their costumers until a problem arises, which they refused to address. First of all, the waffle with fruit tasted agreeable although it was very dry. With the waffle I ordered an ice tea and was asked if I wanted sugar in it. I told our waitress that i wanted a tea without sugar. I then get served a tea that is more sugar water than tea. But, hey, no problem. I take my full glass inside and tell the staff that I ordered an ice tea without any sugar. I learn that all their ice teas are made with sugar. I tell the staff that I can't drink this sugar bomb and leave the tea with them. All good I think. Until I go inside to pay and I am told I have to pay for the sugar ice tea. I get that you pay what you order, but I specifically asked for an ice tea without sugar and second when I complained there was no effort being made to help me - by either offering to stretch the tea with water, exchanging the tea with another beverage - nothing. read more

This place is amazing and the owner is so sweet. If you're lactose free and gluten free, this place is a haven! The sweet potato waffles are so yummy and all the desserts are so moist and delicious. Plus they have açai bowls and yummy fresh pressed juices, wifi, and an English and French menu. read more
