We were looking to grab some lunch before we had to head off to the airport and having been at the next-door sister restaurant and found it acceptable, we decided to try here.
It was quiet on a Monday afternoon but not empty. The server was lovely and friendly.
I ordered what was billed as an Italian pita, with rocket, tomatoes, mozzarella, pesto and salami, and it came with a salad garnish. What actually arrived was much larger and nicer that it sounded - it was instead done on a hamburger bun but pressed in a sandwich press. The flavours were great and the portion way more than I could finish - and all for €7.50.
Drinks are pricey - I believe the bottle of Coke is around €3.
All in all, a tasty lunch that set me up well for the rest of the afternoon! read more
