But had no flavors.... tasted like drinking milk with ice. Even the little jellies had no flavors. It was just like drinking iced milk. The matcha pudding was horrendous. No real flavors except for bitterness. Seemed like it was watered down. Matcha was not good at all. The crinkles all tasted the same. I didnt know which was which. The guava one had a minor hint of guava. The guava cheese though was really good. Almost rivals that of Portos. But with amazing Filipino desserts closer to home (Cafe 86). And if im really hurting for halo halo closer to home in Seafood City. I dont see myself going out of my way to make a trip here again, unfortunately.

She also directed me to the business next door, Greenhouse Matcha, which is owned by the sibling. I placed my pastry order, went next door, and when I returned, my box was ready. Everything was delicious. I didn't even notice the note about the freebie until I got home, which was such a sweet surprise. My goodies included a peanut butter cookie, gingerbread cookie, mixed berry tart, strawberry croissant, and a free monkey bread. Everything was delicious, and I'll definitely make sure to go earlier next time so I can try some of the other goodies.

Let me start by saying I do not recommend this bakery for a cake, there are much better bakeries in the area. The cake came out nothing what I asked for. I asked for a Mario themed cake with a medium blue coloring. What I received was a light blue coloring with none of the decorations I had an asked for. The frosting was uneven, cake was falling apart at the venue as if they hadn't even put it in a blast chiller to solidify. The cake appeared to lean sideways with uneven buttercream. The piping at the base appeared to have been wiped and run out of the piping bag. To make matters worse, they wanted cash for the cake which I provided. Providing cash in advance meant that they could do the terrible job they did with out any recourse for myself the customer. They even took the handwritten receipt that I paid in cash with the detailed description of the cake. I never received an actual receipt. The business is shady in not providing a receipt which makes me think they are committing Tax evasion. It is a Lea to provide a customer a receipt and not their their only receipt at pick up. I will be reporting to the BBB and authorities for tax evasion for pushing cash transactions without a receipt. The cake tasted terrible like it was falling apart at the event. I was embarrassed to out this cake on display. There was no love in the decoration of the cake, and the apparent tax evasion. Do yourself a favor, go to Vons Grocery store across the street and save money with a company that is reputable and is t committing tax evasion by having customers pay in cash and then taking their receipt from them. read more

We ordered a graduation cake for my wife -- a milestone moment that meant a lot to our family. We provided a picture and a specific design request to make the celebration truly special. Unfortunately, what we received was the complete opposite of what we asked for. The cake arrived without the requested photo or design, just a plain, generic cake that looked like no effort had been made. There was no communication, no apology, and no attempt to make things right. It felt like they simply didn't care -- and that lack of care showed in the final product. To make matters worse, the cake itself was dry, bland, and poorly made. For a place that claims to specialize in custom cakes, this was shockingly low quality. Not only did it ruin the surprise, but it genuinely affected what should have been a joyful and proud moment for our family. We are incredibly disappointed and will never be ordering from this bakery again. If you're looking for a business that values its customers and their celebrations, look elsewhere. read more

I stopped by Caesar's Pastry during Thanksgiving week and picked up some baklava and Persian sweets--they were absolutely delicious! Perfectly balanced and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The store is clean and conveniently located near the 19th Street and Carnelian exit, just below the 210 Freeway. Plenty of parking makes it easy to stop by, and the employees are friendly and welcoming. They also have another location in Granada Hills, which is great if you're in that area. So excited that Caesar's Pastry is open in Rancho Cucamonga! We used to have to wait until we visited family in the valley to enjoy their desserts from their Granada Hills location (we live in Fontana), but now they're so close! My wife told me that they opened a couple of days ago, so we had to check out the new place. They are across the parking lot from Starbucks and the store is amazing. I look forward often to take that special trip; from Lake Arrowhead to replenish my stash of Mediterranean sweets. There is a large selection to choose from. I can also phone in my order. (be aware that they close at 5 but the kitchen closes at 4 - they opened it back up for us in spite of arriving at 4:20 - I think because we had promised to come back after breakfast). Today's we returned for lunch again. The food today topped our first visits. The Proscioutto & Mozzarella Piadina (kind of like a flatbread pizza) was my favorite (the balsamic glaze knocked it out of the park), but the Chicken Pesto wrap was a very close second. They also fresh bake goodies. Chocolate chip scone was incredibley moist. I don't want to oversell this place because I don't want them to become crowded or raise their very reasonable prices. But I can't keep it a secret. Also pictured are the Turkey & Brie Panini, Sausage & Pesto Piadina, and the Belgian Waffle. I don't have a picture of the Arisan Breakfast Sandwich, but it was amazing!

I arrived a little after 1 p.m. (they close at 2 p.m.), knowing there was a chance some of the pastries would be sold out. Fortunately, there was no line when I arrived. The young woman helping me was very friendly. Before looking at the menu, I mentioned that I was looking for matcha, and she explained that they no longer carry it. She also directed me to the business next door, Greenhouse Matcha, which is owned by the sibling. I placed my pastry order, went next door, and when I returned, my box was ready. Everything was delicious. I didn't even notice the note about the freebie until I got home, which was such a sweet surprise. My goodies included a peanut butter cookie, gingerbread cookie, mixed berry tart, strawberry croissant, and a free monkey bread. Everything was delicious, and I'll definitely make sure to go earlier next time so I can try some of the other goodies.
