nothin but a horrible experience from the time I moved in November 20 23 upon moving in was infested with mice horrible smell when you turn it on my kitchen was flooded due to the tenant above me having Plumbing Issues which left me to clean up the water intrusion which damaged some of my personal belongings they are also charging me after the fact I am no longer a tenant. I have a whole new rental agreement with a different management company that shows the active lease date which is charging me rent for months that I no longer have possession of the unit. I lived at the Daisy Lofts for five years. Between the incessant barking dogs in the building, the termite infestation (they fall from the ceiling), the patios that all drain into one another (which, yes, includes other tenant's dog urine that drains into everyone else's patios), the roaches, rampant mail theft, leaking roof when it rains, and the crackhead tenant in #6 who blasts music until 5am, there is not a lot to love. Oh, and the management company (Norma Marron specifically) does NOTHING to address any of these concerns. The cameras in the hallway are fake, they don't do anything about the bugs, Norma is either friends or related to two of the tenants who make the most noise in the building so those tenants are never warned and if you complain, she'll tell them you complained so they harass you! Which is super illegal! She also unlawfully threatened to EVICT me if I sent her another email complaining about the noise. I could probably sue them, tbh. Upon the walk through to move out, she did not list painting as something to fix and deducted $550 from my deposit. :) don't rent from Cadman, they are slumlords and you will be traumatized. read more

Neil Cadman NEVER reached out to me when I was beaten by a women in his building. She's either a 51/50 or suffers from dementia (apt. 214). She's violent and creates havoc for the seniors in the building I was recently contacted by a current resident. I suggested he go to fair housing and code enforcement for assistance. Cecelia who is the building manager told me it was a resident to resident issue. Call the police. She apparently didn't feel the need to enforce the household rules that everyone signs when moving into the building. Get off your azz and engage! This building is neglected. Roach and bed bug infested. Homeless have full access to the building. Sleeping in the stairwells, stealing Amazon packages or clothes from the laundry. It's not a safe place to live. Far from walk friendly. Residents taking apartments in Torrance properties get welcomed with house warming gifts. The manager didn't even bother to show up to my walkthrough. It's been nearly a year since I moved out of there. I cannot believe that residents are reaching out to me for help. Camden needs to step up their game. STAY AWAY, CADMAN GROUP IS A SCAM AND NORMA MARRON IS A SCAM AND DOES NOT DO HER JOB AS A PROPERTY MANAGER. I moved here in December 2019. And just moved out last month. Management is horrible, NO ONE answers the phone, maintenance takes forever. We had a hole in our cieling that never got fixed. ALSO Norma will complain about noise and complain about so much that the tenats are doing "wrong" but every morning you can hear her dog bark loud af and hear her screaming all the time. Not to mention the multiple law suits Cadman Group is under. As a tenat i was treated horribly. The move out has been horrendous. We scheduled a day to do the inspection on Normas terms. And she didnt even show up. Ended up doing the final inspection when I was not there and i havent heard anything back since. Ive sent multiple emails, called a bunch, but cant seem to get a copy of the inspection or hear any word about my security deposit. This is BY FAR the worst living situation ive ever been in. So far Cadman group has been amazing to work with. They are responsive and they do their best to help you find some thing. They have even helped house a veteran and are willing to listen and follow up even if they can't help. The property managers, I think, are tenants as well and that helps for them to see you as people as opposed to just another application. Do NOT rent from this management company. They do not take care of their tenants or any issues on the property. We have had a leak in our bathroom for 6 months now and they have yet to fix it. Our bathroom is now flooding everyday when the upstairs unit showers. We call everyday and we're told someone will come out, but they never do. We've had issues in the past and it took them at least a month to come "look" at the issue and not fix it. Very unprofessional and lazy. read more

Oh where do I begin.. The marketing team is great and responsive. But the responsiveness ends there. They put "available now" on the property that's not available. They collect applicants and don't process the application on time. I applied on the first week of October for a place to rent. They told me they'll get back at me by mid October. Called them once a week after that, but they said the unit is still being fixed and there were applicants ahead of me whose applications need to be processed first. Early November, I called again. They told us that the unit has been rented to a person ahead of me. They then offered to transfer the application to the next unit that "will" be available on the 21st of November. Promised to give me a decision by the 14th. I followed up regularly and guess what? Nothing. No words. No decision. No approval nor rejection. The applications probably were never processed at all at they just ate that $40 application fee for me and my partner. So false advertising, scamming (my application fee?!), and highly unprofessional as I have to follow up all the time even when they promised to call back. In my experience, average turn around time for processing an application is 1-3 business days. So yeah, don't bother to apply if you're in rush to rent a place. read more

In regard to your "investigation," I posted this review yesterday & you responded within a day. That "investigation" you claim to make does not seem thorough & clearly suggests that you are reporting on biased opinions. I'm surprised that you're surprised about my review. There are additional people that have posted similar reviews like mine. I am sure this isn't the first time you hear negative remarks about your property management, nor will it be the last. This shouldn't be a surprise. Of course the current tenants that live in the apartment are "as happy as clams," they stayed with my ENTIRE deposit. I'd be happy like a clam to by keeping someone else's security deposit money :D When I moved in 2 yrs ago we needed to have the unit fumigated within the first month because there was a bed bug found in one of the rooms. There was also an infestation of flies that were hatched from maggots that were in the living room. We also had an issue with gnats in the sink. In addition, we requested to have the unit fumigated at least two more times because of cockroaches. Feel free to review the maintenance requests via email that we made several times from all the pests issue that we had. Per my emails with management, it was even admitted that the cockroaches came from "the neighboring units." In other words, this apartment complex has ongoing issues with cockroaches and pests. After frantically looking for an apartment with my list of priorities, I found a nice studio with the right price! While my initial contacts with Cadman did not go well (no one answering the Long Beach office, multiple unanswered voicemails, etc...), I was lucky to have Lucy as the property manager. She was able to respond to all my inquiries from the very beginning. She gave me her personal number from which I could text her or call her. Thankfully she would always respond very promptly. I rent an apartment on Redondo Ave / street Broadway, I have paid my rent on time For 6 years, yet Cadman Group management is the worst I have dealt with ever, when they send someone to fix something, and your lucky if that happens, the workers will leave a mess or break something or be late or rude, And Cadman Group will take there side and say It's your problem or your lying. Oh and I showed them pics of something damaged and they still did not believe me. Please, for your own sanity it is my opinion you do not rent from Cadman Group Unless you like going crazy, dealing with problems, and things not getting fixed in your place Oh and this is a good one, as long as they give you a 60 day notice they can keep raising your rent, in 1 year they raised my rent 95 dollars doing that, and that was 2015. Gaviota terrace apartments is the best place I've ever lived. Manager Lucy Rodriguez is on TOP OF her game! Never had a better manager who fixes things gets things done and really takes pride in her job! From the moment I moved in all requests were promptly taken care of and by prompt I mean within the same day or the next business day. She is involved and follows up to make sure everything is going well in the new apartment! Two apartments have gone for rent and because of her wonderful social skills the apartments rented faster than anything I've ever seen! Unprofessional! Paid the application fee for a place since the rental market is competitive ( Did not apply on 3rd party site). Called to schedule viewing and they told me to keep calling every week to figure out when they can schedule me to look at it because the unit was not vacant. In my opinion they should be the ones to follow up with prospective renters.. especially ones who have applied already. I never called back because I found something better with a reliable company. I received an email almost 2 weeks later with a subject line "bank statemants" that said, "we need last 30 day of your bank statements." No indication of who they are, what company they are from, etc. Poor customer service, follow-up and suspicious emails. Consumers, watch out!! read more

I have been renting with them for 3 years now the whole complex could definitely use an upgrade especially for the price rent is being raised to. The property manager changed since I first moved in, she barely responds to emails regarding maintenance which the original property manager said was the fastest way to put request in. I Do not recommend this property management company. A simple maintenance request can turn into a week-long waiting game. If you do not continuously pester them, they will take their time. Cindy the property coordinator where I live is not helpful at all. The only person I found to be helpful was Raquel the supervisor at the El Segundo office. Bixby Park Apartments 4452 Le Park I moved in one of their buildings in July they failed to tell me that the whole property was going to be under construction for remodel, I would have never moved in If I knew they were going to be doing construction. This construction was only supposed to be lasting a couple of months. 7 months later and their not even near done. These workers are rude they leave rusty nails and wood all over our complex, they curse and yell at each other in front of resident windows, they only work for a couple of hours at a time and then leave, they start work earlier than the law permits waking up resident before even 7am. They painted on my windows and left nails sticking out of my railings on my patio. The manager of this building is supposed to be overseeing these workers, however we never see any supervision. They ripped out our front and back sidewalks to our apartments and left for 2 weeks during the holidays and during the rain so we had to walk in mud for over 2 weeks just to get to our front door, to do laundry, or get to the trash bins. The laundry machines never work. I have 3 notices from them that they let themselves inside my apartment when I was not home to check my fire alarms and CO2 alarms. 3 notices in 3 months. However my whole place filled with smoke when I accidentally burned something in the oven and my fire alarm never went off. My whole place filled with gas due to my faulty heater and my CO2 alarm never went off. After that I called the gas company they came out and told me the heater needed to be fixed, So I call the manager to let him know and a few hours later he comes barging into my apartment with his keys and lets himself in UN-announced when I was half clothed. The repairman begins to tell me how the fire box is blown out and the heater was rigged to make it seem like it works, and I could have blown the whole place up! Still waiting for them to replace my heater and its freezing. These are just a few examples of this Horrible management company`s practices. And of course when I try to call corporate I just get the run around from snooty property management high horse jerks who obviously do not care about the "little people" accept for taking all our money and charging way to much rent for properties that are not up to building code standards. They will be penalized for their wrong doing. Save yourselves from this corrupt management company. Oh yeah and my friend who lives in the building has 4 kids and had to move out of her apartment because of mold. They had to move her to another property for over a month while they get rid of the mold that made her and her kids horribly sick. I could go on........ read more
