Ordered the cheese curds and a couple entrees. Curds came out room temp, told waiter.... They put them in the MICROWAVE and brought them back out all soggy. They are almost $12 for a tiny portion. What a joke. Very disappointed!!! read more

Took 2 hours to get our food. When it arrived the last thing to come out was the easiest to make, a basic Caesar salad. The chicken salad had a shrimp tail in it and no one at the table even ordered shrimp. Thankfully the person did not have an allergy or it could have been disastrous. Also gross since it was a tail and not an actual piece of shrimp. Where would just a tail come from? The steak was over cooked and chewy. Couldn't cut it with a steak knife. The mashed potatoes seemed microwaved. Wondering if they forgot to bring our order out and reheated it. The waiter was nice and the manager did comp the chicken salad and steak for us. There are a lot of places to eat in the mall so I'd recommend going somewhere else unless you have no food allergies and have lots of time to spare. For the price I'd expect better. read more

Decent food. I got the fish tacos which I would highly recommend. Fish inside was grilled perfect. Both of my friends got burgers which they thought were okay, but nothing amazing. Just an average burger. Service was good, waitress was back frequently to check on us and fill up waters. In general just typical American food, nothing fancy or unique about the place. read more

Cheese curds, amazeballs. Pecan crusted pork chops, a fat boys dream. The service was so good and the food so good that we decided to come back a second time. Second trip, cheese curds amazeballs, fish tacos good, juicy Lucy burger not bad, service lackluster. I finished my drink and dinner and at that point my server asked me if everything is good. I'm actually sitting here now writing this review and our server is still no where to be found. I'm parched, wanted another drink and nope, still nothing. If the place is busy expect lackluster service, if it's quiet, expect great service. read more

Love their appetizers and the ambiance is fun. Food is well-prepared and good recipes. Service is usually quite good. Can be razy busy at times (it IS the Mall of America!) but worth it for a mid day or weeknight trip! read more

Stopped in here for a cocktail and ended up sitting at the back bar. I have been to this chain both in Arizona and Tennessee in the past so the novelty is old with me. It's a more active and noisy place so if you like that energy you will like that. My problem is my drink was not strong for the price I paid. Stick with tap or bottled beer. read more

Sounds strange but I love the ahi tuna and fish tacos! I know it's a steak restaurant but I've had seared ahi tuna all over the place and this place does it right! Maybe it's the wasabi sauce but it really is good! I was here over a year ago and was excited to be back so I could have it again! I sat at the bar tonight. The bartender served my drinks and food fast. Definitely no complaints here! read more

Me: I would like the taco flatbread pizza, but, sorry can i get it without cilantro? Bartender: yeah, its the age of entitlement, no one just orders the food anymore. Me: well cilantro tastes like soap to me and about 14% of the population. So, i'd prefer not having it added on. Bartender: i dont go on social media so I dont know whats trendy. Me: it's not a trend, it's science. Bartender: yeah, people find stuff online all the time and blah blah blah.... Let it go bartender from Ohio. It is a simple request. I shouldve have to explain my food issues with you. Even fast food joints dont complain about leaving something off of an order. Is the food here NOT fresh and made to order? Is it sitting back in the kitchen premade, and customers asking for something without cilantro will destroy kitchen operations? Even Chipoltle has white rice without cilantro for customers like me. Food was good, experience not so much. read more

Four months later and I'm taking back half of my stars. All of the things that set Cadillac Ranch apart for us were completely gone on our last visit. No Fat Tire, no well-executed Manhattan, the turkey burger no longer has fancy bread, and they took the Jucy Lucy off the menu. What remained was exactly what we'd expected at the beginning - another non-distinct, half-assed steakhouse and burger joint. That's not to say that our food was bad on this visit -- it was fine for what it was. But we had seen them do so much better! What happened? Was it terrifying to mall-goers to actually have a menu with some halfway creative items on it? HOLY CRAP, CRANBERRY BREAD WILL EAT MY FAMILY, CHANGE IT TO A WHEAT KAISER ROLL BEFORE WE ALL DIE. Yeah, this is not a default anymore. read more

Came here yesterday with my family and extended family for MOA's Toddler Tuesday. The service was nice and very tolerant of the four children we had at our table. Food came out hot and our drinks were refilled at timely intervals. Attentive server earned a great tip. Here's what wasn't so good. The good. Garlic bread was ok. But my hot sicilian sandwich was not spicy in the least, and actually pretty devoid of flavor. I ordered a side salad, which was actually huge. Wife got a salmon BLT which was reportedly mediocre. Food was definitely bleh. If someone says that they thought the food was awesome here, they're probably also fans of the Olive Garden. If you also like Olive Garden, or places like it, you'll probably think this place serves excellent food as well. Here's what bothered me. The Cadillac Ranch bills itself as an All-American bar. Clearly a cowboys and rock n roll theme going on with the decor. I have no problem with this. What I do have a problem with is the pictures of 70's rock icons that are plastered on every wall are mostly NON-American rockers. From Zeppelin to the Stones to AC/DC, there are far more foreign musicians than American. This is not to say that they aren't great musicians, but if you're going to be All-America, is it too much to ask that they put JUST American (I can accept Canadian) rock icons? What made me never want to come back. I went to the bathroom. I pooped. (Yes TMI, but relevant.) I was alone. Everything was normal. And then ... the lights turned off. They just shut the hell off. Was there a motion-sensor on a 2-minute cycle? I don't know. I had to wipe my ass in the dark, using my phone for light. If I had no phone, I don't know what I would have done. No windows, no emergency light. It was completely pitch-black in there. I didn't bother complaining but I swore I'd never return to a place that makes me poop in the dark and I never will. read more

First of all, you're at the Mall of America... So expect to wait for a table! Could be up to an hour wait, depending on party size and day of the week. And unless you're Hugh Hefner, don't expect to be seated instantly! Secondly, if you are a vegetarian... This is not your ballpark! The menu is loaded with meat. I ordered a "Juicy Lucy" ...The burger that Mn is pretty much known for. I paid 12 bucks for the burger and fries. Both were great. I was out with a friend and both of use decided to order a raspberry mojito. Very strong, flavorful, full of seeds. For 10 bucks a pop, I'd definitely say that there was bang for your buck! The atmosphere was definitely all American-Rock and Roll Country bar and grille. Pictures of Steven Tyler & Carrie Underwood and other well know artist hang on the walls. Separated by a large variety of guitar decor. There are two good sized bars located inside the venue... But who could miss the focal point in the room, the Mechanical Bull. I have yet to experience this adventure... Clean, friendly, quick and attentive. Our waiter did his job well. I will for sure be stopping by the Cadillac Ranch again in the future, for a little bit of fun on the bull... Next time! ;-) read more

Options scare my mother so my family ended up here after a two hour debate about lunch. You can sit inside, this place has a such a large space that you feel like you're in Texa, or outside to watch mall shoppers stroll by, yippee! I had the Chicken Carbonara and the rest of my group had a Cadillac Steak Salad and the Filet Mignon. My pasta was creamy, heavy and really salty, I was only able to make a small dent in my plate. On the other hand my mom's steak was actually fairly tasty. I wouldn't say this place is bad, knowing what you're in for, but I wouldn't say this place is great either. It served its purpose for my lunch, a quick meeting spot in between the East and West suburbs. read more

Had the loaded chips and juicy Lucy awesome!!! Great service and atmosphere. Here on business nice place to dine along lots to look at.

2.5 - we had good service and there was nothing "technically" wrong with our food (ie- it was the right temp, came out promptly, and we had the correct order) The ambiance here is "meh" at best. They have a closet display full of different UV flavored vodkas. enough said. The pics on the wall are of rock greats like Mick Jagger, Aerosmith, Poison, etc. The music however... 80's pop?? Olivia Newton John and Divo? er.... Anyway, service was swift and friendly, no complaints there. Wasn't too busy but seemed kinda loud anyways. The food was, well.... it just was. Basically the quality you would expect from a TGIF or Chili's. Whatever. Probably won't come back, but, hey, it was worth a shot. read more

The service was terrible, we had 4 different servers within a 2 hour window, all of which were clearly not communicating on the back end because they were all asking the same questions and not actually getting the items we ordered. It was a Wednesday night and there were only about 10 other people in the place, so I'm not sure why they couldn't seem to get a server to commit to taking care of us. The food is what you'd expect for a midwestern chain restaurant that has a mechanical bull, edible but not incredible. I would have actually given this place 2 stars, but they have $1 beers with a purchase of a burger which afforded me enough to drink that it earned the extra star. read more

Looking for a bite to eat me and 3 others decided to try a new place. So we decided on cadilac ranch. We were welcomed right away from the hosts. The host sat us at our table. Wait time wasn't long. We all placed our order. Sitting at our table to our left a full bar. Next to the bar a mechanical bull for those feeling like testing their skills. Very nice atmosphere. TVs everywhere on different channels. The lighting was very nice. Our waiter was nice. We all got our food, unfortunately our waiter never made it back to check in on us. It did see like he didn't care for his tables. Digging into our food everything tasted very good. I received the bbq burger. This tasted amazing and the fries didn't disappoint. My husband got the Cajun pasta. I did get to sneak a bite of his pasta. Flavors were definitely good. My sister got the carbonara. Her and her husband did enjoy it. Her husband ordered the sirloin burger. Unfortunately that is just a typical burger. He was a bit disappointed when it was placed in front of him. Verbally not a bad experience I would stop again. read more

Met some friends for lunch. I ordered a BBQ burger and fries. The food was on par for what you would expect from any sports bar in town. Our waitress was good and kept my beverage full the whole time. I was a little disappointed that they did not offer a lunch menu with smaller portions as I did not really feel like having a 1/2 burger for lunch when I was there. I saw nothing on the menu that would make me want to make a special trip to Cadillac Ranch. I would not be opposed to going again if I was at the mall for something else. read more

I enjoyed the Cadillac Ranch. My expectations were low, since all I knew about it before going was that it was a new "Themed" steakhouse/sports bar in the MOA with a mechanical bull, AND, I had a gift certificate expiring in something like 48 hours. I went alone, expecting something similar to Toby Kieth's, Cowboy Slims, or the other country theme bars seeming to be a trend (and hotbed for the certain demographics I like avoiding, not to mention my least favorite popular music.), and planning to eat and run. To my surprise, it's actually a "Rock & Roll" themed bar, and it appeared to be douchbag free! Infact, at 9:30 on a friday night (promoted as single & mingle night, with happy hour specials after 9pm), a vast majority of the patrons appeared to be MOA employees (understandably, since they get half off drinks, which is nice), and there was no meat market vibe. The menu was probably average priced for a chain restaurant at the MOA. Steaks were around $20-$35, Sandwiches were $10-$15 or so. I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich. It was bland but not bad. The Fries were good (skin on, probably frozen, salty, hot, plentiful). Nothing outstanding. The best part of the meal was the MOJITO. Normally $10 (out of my beverage price range), was a bargain as one of the 4 cocktails on the Friday HH Menu for $5. I sensed it was lite on rum, but it came in a pint glass with fresh mint and lime and was the best mojito I've had in years (and I've been around!). I ordered two more after that one, and they were all equal, so it wasn't a fluke. : ) For dessert I ordered the Chocolate spoon cake, but it was not available. The bartender suggested a brownie, and I said sure! When it came, the first thought that popped into my head was "Ooops, I shoulda asked how much it was!", then, "I shoulda asked how many zip codes it has.". : ) It was an inch deep pie pan sized brownie, fresh out of the oven with 3 scoops of ice cream on top plus chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. Yeah.....I was bad. I ate almost all of it and thought it was great. It was $8, and could have made ample treat for a table of 3-5. WAY more than one person should eat in a day....I realized the hard way. In the end, the Cadillac Ranch is a decent chain restaurant and probably one of the better places to watch sports or meet singles within the mega-mall. The bar is expensive, but the happy hour has potential and the service was competent. read more

I brought a client there last night for drinks and some food. The service was good but the food was only OK. The Buffalo sandwich I had fairly tasteless and the fries were not cook enough. I will give them another try but will be very cautious in what I order for dinner. read more

Nice place for some typical american bar food. Not big on ribs and steaks but the pulled pork sandwich sounded good. Ended up pulling the trigger on the Diablo Chicken Penne as spicy is my middle name. Was not that spicy but the tomato based sauce was tastey with a good heat. Penne cooked perfectly but chicken was a little dry. Overall would go back, just barely missed their happy hour so decided not to drink. Looked like they had their own brand of beer. Would try that beer and the pork sandwich. Plenty of room at the 2 bars and plenty of LCD's for watching sports which is big for me. read more

We were walking around the MOA and needed a place to eat dinner. Our go-to is typically burgers, so we chose Cadillac Ranch. The atmosphere is a little weird. You think you're going into a country ranch theme, but then they have pop and rap music playing with the music videos on the TV. I felt like they were trying to be a dance bar. The food itself was average. We both got burgers and fries and were happy with them but were not impressed by any means. I would recommend going across the way to CRAVE instead. read more

We needed something to eat relatively fast and this place happened to be right by us in our journeys through MofA.I must say that the decor here was very fitting for the place and did not look over the top goofy and they could have easily done. I had a flat bread which was very tasty but my wife's pecan pork chop was off the chart. When i tried her's I was a little on the sad side that I did not order what she did! The service was very good . Overall, it was a solid/ reasonably priced meal. With all of the food options available within such a close proximity to each other , we made the right choice read more

I was approached to come back. There is new management and a better menu. There is an improvement from my first vist in which I vowed to never to go back! I was already at the mall so we stopped by again. Service was better (last time I was here for almost an hour and a half, but not because it was having such a great time) Food tasted better, but when my food was placed on the table I was like, oh that's it? The prices are high, but that what happens when you eat at the mall. But seriously though I expected way more tots for $6 (bad night?). But the food was good and the drinks were good too. I will however come back for a drink at the bar, rails are only 2.75! Stop by ride the bull, have a good time. read more

Cadillac Ranch - 1# of wings..And $6 worth of tots...? Eh. - Bars Near Me - Bloomington, Minnesota

If it weren't for Tony Roma's unattended host stand, I might not have tried Cadillac Ranch. The signage is a little generic and it seemed like a typical sports bar, but it was two doors down and I wanted food. It wasn't crowded at all during my late lunch, so I can't speak to the customer service experience when times get tough. My server tended to me promptly and professionally. When I ordered kettle chips with my burger, she subbed out the included fries and my bill was much lower than expected. The burger tasted delicious (although I wasn't asked how I wanted it done and it wasn't as moo-ey as I would have liked). The kettle chips don't make sense on the menu (they're listed for $7.95), but they exceeded my expectations. The chips are fresh and crispy, covered in creamy ranch and bleu cheese crumbles, and drizzled with balsamic vinegear. They've installed a mechanical bull. I should have asked to ride it, but after all the nummy food, I didn't think a fierce jostling would be prudent. The place bears a strong resemblance to Toby Keith's I Love This Bar, but CR's atmosphere doesn't confine itself to a country/western theme. During my meal, the gigantic TV screen played music videos by the likes of Cream, The Cars, Spoon and The Raconteurs. Sometimes they play country, but not enough to set me off. read more

The food was mediocre. Fine, but not noteworthy. The kicker is when we sat down, there was more than one very dirty appetizer plate on the table. There was legit melted cheese stuck to my plate. So disgusting. Not sure how the person setting the table didn't notice or they did notice and just didn't care. RED FLAG! The parmesan shaker at the table also had dried up cheese stuck to the top of it. It only made me think about how dirty the the other dishes I would be eating off might be. Probably won't go back. The food was fine, but not something I'll ever crave. read more

While I was a little apprehensive about this place due to reviews we did decide to give it a try! I was not disappointed! I had a juicy Lucy burger, it was delicious! The server was fast and attentive. The atmosphere was a little loud, but not too bad when you have 2 kids who want to be loud too. I loved the rock n' roll decor. We all enjoyed our food, we ordered cheese fry appetizer, the husband had wings for dinner and then we ordered 2 kids meals for the little ones. Then at the end because it was our first visit, (they did ID us because we had beer), and saw we were from out of town gave us a $5 coupon to return along with 2 cookies for each of our children. I used to come to this place a couple years back. Had good steaks and excellent choices on the menu. Came back today and they only had 2 overpriced steaks on the menu that tasted like garbage. My first time there was great and I had no complaints. However, it's the second time I went there that makes me never want to ever go back. After we were seated, it took at LEAST 10 minutes before our server even said anything to us. He had talked to tables that had arrived after us. He took so long that another worker there had noticed and she gave us water. When our server finally decided to notice us, he was very rude and didn't seem to care to about anything besides being as fast as possible. As if that wasn't bad enough, it took over 45 minutes for us to get our food. Yes folks, OVER 45 minutes. Now, the food itself was good and I had no complaints there either. We ordered off the happy hour menu which I thought was actually a pretty good happy hour menu. Would recommend if the service wasn't so terrible. Now the icing on the cake? Our server took forever to even ask us if we were ready for our check even after passing us multiple times after we were clearly done with our food. My boyfriend had to get his attention as he was about to pass us again to let him know we wanted the check. Then when the bill finally gets to us, he charged us full price for the appetizers we ordered for happy hour! When we let our server know, he had the nerve to say "well, technically happy hour is at the bar, but since I gave you the happy hour menu, I'll do this for you." Oh hell to the no. And so after having the worst service I have ever had in my life at a restaurant, I will not be coming back. A big thanks to our server, Mike, for ruining Cadillac Ranch for us. read more

A small group of friends and I came here after a "heavy" night out. Lol. We were sat promptly in the corner of a very spacious, welcoming and open dining room. We had a few drinks which were all very tasty before our food came out. My date had the buffalo wings with cheese curds, I had the No Bull Burger. Everything was very, very tasty. We left full and satisfied. The only thing preventing this place from getting 5 stars is the service. I can't remember the name of our server, but he was SLOW. We often felt ignored at times, but nonetheless, we got our food. I'd totally come back here to eat, just hoping our server is having a better day. read more

The Cadillac Ranch has some great deals at happy hour - especially for Mall of America where the values can be few and far between. I was there last night with my daughter. Wednesday evening at CR...5% occupied...30 minutes to receive 2 kids meals, one burger and fries, and another order of fries!!!!! 30 frickin' minutes!
