Coupe double cheeseburger w fries and cheese
Sara L.

I cannot believe I don't already have a review here, so it's time I post one. I've been dining at Cadillac Bill's since 2007 when it opened. On the most recent visit Hubby, my mom and I went for lunch. We LOVE the burgers here, they are the tastiest! They are a fast food style burger - thinner greasy patties. That's my jam so I'm in. They include a nice seasoning on the burger as well. They have shoestring style fries that are always cooked well and I usually get a side of cheese with mine (its cheddar style, not jalapeno cheese). We also love the onion petals and the spicy dipping sauce. Hubby tried a taco this time and said it was really good. I ordered my daughter mini corn dogs to go and she said they were cooked perfect. They also have hand dipped ice cream here. It's amazing and a great after dinner treat if you have any room left. The current setup here is that you come in, take a seat and a server comes to take your order and then bring the food out. That works... but I really preferred when it was more of a fast food style. They used to do walk up to the counter to place your order and someone brought the food to the table. Not sure why they changed it but that is the only thing I really don't care for. With fast food I don't really need a server. If you are taking a drive up 79 or just craving a good burger, stop here and order a coupe. The entire restaurant has cool car nostalgia all over and Cadillac Bill himself has been working every time I've been there.

Little diner, right off highway 79, has some very quality food. Fresh, and worth the wait for me because sometimes they do get very busy. Breakfast as well Really good ice cream for dessert. Multiple friends and family have been here as well we all just love it.

The "Coupe" - double cheeseburger.

Had just a terrific cheeseburger called the "Coupe" with a side of French Fries and a Cherry Pepsi. Wonderful, friendly staff!

If you are near bye. Go to Cadillac Bills. The staff is amazing and if you get a burger. Get a double cheeseburger. It is worth it.

Casey's - It's hard to find beef jerky treats for my dog that do not have nitrites in them, but this brand had clean ingredients.

It was a long drive without a convenience store this morning from Louisiana Missouri to Elsberry…read moreMissouri - and I was really needing a cup of coffee. When I rolled into town, I saw the Shell station first and almost went there. But right next to it was a Casey's and I am a big fan of the Casey's chain, so the choice was obvious. Big city convenience stores have their breakfast sandwiches brought in by truck from some central distribution center, but Casey's always has a dedicated cook making up the pizzas and hot sandwiches on the spot. Samara in the kitchen was very sweet and helpful. When I told her that neither my dog nor I eat the bread on the breakfast sandwiches - and asked her what sandwich would have the most good innards - she recommended the breakfast burrito, which was quite delicious. Casey's stock the Naked brand juice drinks which I like quite a lot- and also an aloe juice drink which is comforting to my tummy. They also have their own brand coffee drinks and iced tea, which are cheaper than the big national brands and have excellent ingredients. I was also able to buy Casey's brand spring water and seltzer water, which we need for our camping. When I went to check out, I could not find my wallet in any of my many cold-weather pockets - and had to go back to my camper van to look for it. It's a new van and I don't have my habits down yet - and it took me forever to find my wallet. Angela at the checkout was very patient with my disorganization and did a great job. I also met a lot of very friendly people in the store. Casey's seems to attract nice people - and the people in this part of Missouri are generally quite nice anyway. If you do happen to find yourself in this part of Missouri, following the scenic Route 79 along the Mississippi River, I highly recommend this Casey's store.

Love gas station pizza and they never get greedy with toppings. Always a great experience inside…read morethe store regardless.

My wife and I were visiting my niece, and on our way out of town we came across a little BBQ spot…read morecalled Sugar and Smoke. It's a neat-looking place--nicely decorated, inviting, and full of that good smoky aroma that hits you as soon as you step inside. We were welcomed immediately, told to sit wherever we liked, and our waitress followed us over to take our drink orders right away. My wife ordered the meatloaf special, and while I teased her for choosing meatloaf at a BBQ joint, I ended up going with the Smoked Reuben. They brought her an entire meatloaf, along with green beans and mashed potatoes. I'm not exaggerating--this loaf easily could have fed three people. It was so good she nearly hurt herself trying to finish it. She almost made it through all the green beans, too, but I managed to snag the last one--and it was delicious. Then came my Reuben: a massive, five-layer monstrosity. I actually asked the waitress whether they made it that way just to impress me (since I had announced upfront that I'm a bit of a Reuben snob, lol) or if all their Reubens are like this. She swore they're all made exactly the same. You've got to see the photo. The marbled rye was sturdy and didn't collapse under the weight of two layers of thinly sliced smoked beef and a thick layer of juicy, tangy sauerkraut. I'm a kraut lover, so I really appreciated how generous they were. The house-made Thousand Island-style sauce tied everything together perfectly. In the nearly 17 years I've been posting on Urbanspoon, Zomato, and now Yelp, this Reuben easily sits in my top three--maybe even my #1. The smoky flavor made it unique, and I loved it. My only regret was not being able to finish this monster of a sandwich--it was delicious but messy, and I went through a handful of napkins. A lovely lady came out to ask how I liked the Reuben and introduced herself as one of the owners. (I apologize--I've forgotten her name!) My only suggestion would be to keep the meat thinly sliced--shaved would be even better--and maybe offer a half portion at a lower price. As it was, I could barely touch my perfectly cooked French fries. To top off the experience, my wife ordered the bread pudding. She has a "gold standard" bread pudding from years ago that she compares all others to, and she said this one was just as good, if not better, than her all-time favorite. I wish we had a Sugar and Smoke closer to home, because it would absolutely be a regular stop for us. It's so refreshing to find an establishment that cares this much about its food and its customers.

They offer a wide range of burger options. The main proteins are turkey beef and black bean. The toppings combinations are exponential. We ordered a regular cheese burger and a black bean burger. The bun is soft and fluffy. The toppings are as fresh as you can get. The beef burger was juicy and flavorful. The veggie patty was crisp and tender. We also ordered the hand cut fries and they did not disappoint. The big reason we decided to give them a try was for the milk shakes. Most of the burger places offer shakes made with frozen custard. Having an egg allergy prevents everyone in our family from being able to enjoy a shake with their meal. The shake was perfectly thick and delicious. They have a nice variety to choose from. The space is brand new, bright, clean, and comfortable.

There was barely any special sauce and for me I was not overly impressed. I did not like the fries either as they tasted burnt but that was a personal preference. The place is clean, but most of the ketchup bottles were empty so finally the third bottle I was finally able to get some ketchup. Lastly, their drink selection was poor. They did not have Coke Zero or Diet Dr Pepper so went with Sweet Tea but it was more lome unsweet Tea so 3 strikes and you are out in my book.
