AMAZING! I came on a business trip but this place was definitely 10/10. I had the Lamb shack and it was incredibly tender and flavorful. I wish I got a picture but the food looked so good it was already gone before I could. Our server kept our water glasses full and it's very beautiful inside. Edit: I was convinced to get the FLAN best flan I've ever had the picture doesn't do it justice. We also had a free shot of port wine. Wonderful place. I almost forgot to mention live piano music.

Let's start off with the ambience. I love that when you walk in, someone is playing the piano and you can see that the inside is designed to be a Mediterranean atmosphere. The lights were beautiful and I just love how quiet and chill this place was. The service was great! The waitress was really nice. Appetizer: Chips and salsa - the salsa can definitely use a little spice (it was not spicy) chips were not salted but I definitely love my chips not salted (: We also got the Gambas Al Ajillo as an appetizer. This was my favorite dish out of all of them! It was a buttery/creamy shrimpy dish and well cooked! It came with a side of sliced bread as well. The Calamari was what you would expect at a regular restaurant - it had some sprinkled Parmesan on it. I got the Mariscos saltando and it came with scallops and shrimp cooked with Peruvian sauce and it went well with peppers and onions in the dish. The only thing that was kind of off was the fries that was inside the dish. The dish also came with a side of beans and rice. My overall rating is definitely more based on the food vs the service. I thought the service and ambiance was a 5/5 but the food definitely could have used something more. The waitress was very nice here and packed up all of our leftovers for us!

Picked this place to have a last minute dinner on our way back home from Ocean city. We tried to avoid the restaurants at the beach and ended up here after a quick search on Yelp. We were not disappointed. Restaurant had a nice, serene ambiance not to mention friendly staff/server and best of all our food was very good.

They have a lot of parking because it's at a mall and it's very spacious inside. I was the only person at my table to order a drink and I will say this. I really slept on this drink until it hit the spot and I was like oh wow! The frozen berry grand margarita was on point! I would definitely order that again! So my sister and my nephew both wanted crabs so that's what they received. If you been to red lobsters lately and got their crab in a bag, it has nothing on Juicy Bucket ‍, just saying. I will admit I wasn't too pleased with the serve, you could just tell that this wasn't his career choice he belongs behind a computer somewhere or in a science lab anything that doesn't deal with ppl. He was very forgetful, and just seemed overall uncomfortable. However, he only made one mistake so you gotta admit he did well. I will definitely go back but I wouldn't suggest that you order the calamari it tastes like it's prepackaged. The oysters were tasty, along with the fried shrimp. Oh and don't let me forget, their french fries were delicious, I love a good batch of fries.

Once inside the restaurant, the tables are long and very close together. Not too many table are just 4-tops of which means you'll be seated with others most likely . It was a tight squeeze to get up from the tables due to them being so close . They dump all the crabs and corn on your table which leaves lil space to actually eat them. There are three bathroom stalls for a really big restaurant of which causes a long line every time you need to use the bathroom. Now the crabs themselves were a mix of small & mediums but they were really juicy and had a good taste. The servers were pretty cool although they seemed overwhelmed with the large groups of people. Overall the crabs, corn, clam strips, and fried chicken thighs and shrimp were good. I would come back again just not on a trip so I can get a better chance if not being seated with people don't know .

The next day everybody was talking about how good this place was. They talked about the all you can eat crabs, that same with fried shrimp and chicken that was just out of this world, and it just sounded incredible. I had actually looked it up, and told my wife about it, but it was just to far of a drive without having a day planned around it. We don't really go out to this area, and so after a while it just kind of fell off of our radar. Fortunately for my though, I was invited to a conference at Salisbury University through my employer. I was talking with a friend of mine about the food ion the area, and he brought up a name that I hadn't heard in some time, but it clicked right when he said it. I did my googles and found that we were only 20 minutes from here, and I knew it was now or never. I told 2 of my coworkers about it, and gave them the backstory on how I've been wanting to cone here for years, and they were down. The only thing that came as a drawback was that we had just been given blue crabs at our conference the day before, and I didn't want to sit through another crab picking session, so AYCE wasn't going to be an option for me, but luckily it didn't end up being a problem. When we got here we were seated immediately, that staff was friendly and it smelled amazing as soon as you opened the door. Our sevcer was very accommodating seeing as we had to split the bill 3 ways and she put the alcohol on 3 different checks for us. Anyhow, The food! I got the Snow Crab mini feast, which came with 4 Clusters of Snow Crabs, 1 Piece of Fried Chicken, 1 Ear of Corn, Boat of Fried Shrimp, Boat of Clam Strips, Boat of Hush Puppies. Which was more like 3 pieces of chicken, and shrimp flowing out of the boat. I also got a pitcher of Blue Moon and a Tito's Wildcat which was really good. I could've done without the powdered sugar on top of the hush puppies, but it didn't ruin how good they were. It almost gave off a beignet vibe, they were lighter and fluffier than a lot of the more dense hush puppies I've had, and were still the best hush puppies i've had in a minute. Needless to say I crushed this whole meal, and I was actually considering not even eating the corn. Then I figured I should atleast take a bite, because why not. Best decision ever! I pealed the corn and drizzled melted butter with Old Bay on it, and holy smokes! The best corn i've ever had in my entire, whole, full, complete, total life! Even without the fixings it was sweet and juicy, just good. I would fircking come back from a Corn on the cob mini feast if they had one...lls The only real downside is that on a hot day this place and get pretty stuffy inside. We spoke with our waitress who said the A.C. has a hard time keeping up once the place gets packed, so hopefully thats something they fix in the near future. Definitely glad I got to check in here, and see what all the hype was about, and they delivered! Old Mill Crab House is the TRUTH!!

Normally I give a place a second chance before writing a negative review however, not this time. The waitress was very good, helpful, and as attentive as she could be with the manager hovering around like a buzzard. The food and drinks came out relatively quickly. The soft drinks were flat. The food was cooked decently I've had better seafood boils and I've had worse. The negative review is based on the unprofessional management and overall decor of the restaurant. The paint was peeling, fixtures were coming off the walls, they need to clean the floors and fix the seating area. The benches and chairs are dated. The red velvet ropes made me feel like I was being separated from a group in a low-budget strip club. The waitress could have been more attentive if the manager would have stopped holding her up and bothering her about a bill someone dined and dashed on. If you are the manager and you are posted by the door maybe you should watch the customers better since the wait staff is back and forth between the dining area and the kitchen. Because of the rundown, dirty condition, and the unprofessional demeanor of the manager I recommend you find another establishment for Seafood.

We ordered the crab dip appetizer with sourdough bread. Dinner rolls were great and rivaled that of Texas roadhouse with the cinnamon flavored butter. Crab dip came to the table with the appearance of a sourdough bread bowl and the presentation was spot on. Small pieces of bread (not sourdough) was surrounding the bread (not sourdough) bowl and although somewhat tasty, not what I expected. There was very little crab, and sauce resembled a cream sauce with Old Bay seasoning as the main flavor. If you're going to advertise "Sourdough" the expectation is you will receive "Sourdough" and not just bland bread. A person in our group ordered a "bang-bang shrimp Po Boy" as a dinner entre. What was delivered was the bang-bang shrimp appetizer. As we were telling the person delivering the food that this was incorrect, they just turned and walked away. Our impression? Not their problem. When we saw the food delivery person come to a nearby table and got their attention, the response was "I just deliver the food, you'll need to tell your server". Wow. Another person ordered the Cream of Crab bowl of soup as their main dish. It was served with the appetizer. Oddly enough, it seemed to be the same flavor as the crab dip appetizer. I ordered the seasonal fish and jumbo shrimp with old bay seasoned fries. I could not get a commitment on what type of fish it was, but I can say that it was definitely deep fried to a point where the texture and flavor was indistinguishable. The shrimp was so overcooked that I was fearful of breaking a tooth. Overall, I would say I am disappointed. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I think this may be just what we get for service now days. Marginal attention to actual service and marginal if not bland food offerings. I'm just traveling through so not likely I'll be back anytime soon, but if I do happen along this way, I'll go somewhere else.

Craft is craft, intention is intention, and good hospitality doesn't always come with tasting spoons and tweezered microgreens. Sometimes it shows up in a big white-wood dining room on the Eastern Shore with rowing flags, glass walls, and a view of the water. Brew River in Salisbury, Maryland fits that description exactly. On first walk-in, it checks every coastal-restaurant box: nautical motif, bright light, big windows, oars on the wall. The early reaction is, "Oh, here we go... coastal form #762." But then something happens: it doesn't go kitschy. It goes comfortable. Warm. Unforced. For a place that's basically white and glass, it manages real ease -- a room you actually want to sit in. Service sealed the deal. Our server -- a tiny, tattooed, extraordinarily competent powerhouse -- delivered better technical service than I've had in dining rooms where the bill comes in a leather binder. Knowledgeable, efficient, zero pretension. Proof that good training and good attitude beat choreographed snobbery every time. The menu leans American/craft-brew/seafood, and while the pricing looks modest, the value is what's exceptional. We started with snow crab clusters -- five for $38 -- a number that feels like someone accidentally hit the wrong key. They arrived well-cooked, thoughtfully presented with multiple sauces, and easy to work with. Yes, in a busy semi-mass-market kitchen, they were steamed a touch longer than ideal. They were still enjoyable, but not handled with the precision that could make them great. Fair critique, fair result. The cream of crab soup was the surprise. I'm not a fan of cream-based seafood soups; too often they're a bowl of roux with a cameo from a crustacean. But this one? Balanced. Slightly thickened with more flour than necessary -- a reduction would've been the more honest route -- but the flavor was terrific. Properly cooked crab, good sherry backbone, smart seasoning, pepper in the right place, none of the salt-overcompensation you get at coastal spots aiming for "hearty." Fictitiously thickened? Yes. Beautifully done? Also yes. The crab egg roll sounded predictable on the menu. It wasn't. Instead of the usual filler-heavy Asian-ish tube with a memory of seafood, out came a tiny crab chimichanga -- a crisp, generous, surprising little snack that could absolutely function as a small entrée. Warm, crab-forward, genuinely delicious. And then there was the moment that told me everything about this restaurant's soul: the bread bowl. I'm old enough to remember when upscale meant warm bread at the start -- not as a filler, but as a gesture of hospitality. Brew River took that instinct and elevated it. A beautifully presented bowl of small corn muffins (one of the best I've had, and I don't say that lightly), blueberry muffins, and a sweet raisin-bread bite. Not one of them phoned in. It felt like hospitality -- the real kind, not the corporate checklist version. That same intention showed up everywhere: real cloth napkins in nautical blue and white, proper silverware, clean placement, thoughtful pacing. Someone clearly cares about how people feel in the room. Drinks? Fine. Crushes were acceptable. The infused margarita was pleasant, not memorable, but no one's coming here for mixology awards. A touch more alcohol wouldn't hurt, but that's a preference, not a flaw. What matters is this: the place knows exactly what lane it's in and delivers more than it has to. It's priced fairly, but the real story is the value -- far above what the menu numbers suggest. Would I go back? Absolutely. Happily. I'd try more dishes. I'd bring friends. Any time I'm in Salisbury -- or anywhere along the Eastern Shore -- Brew River earns another visit. It's not trying to be high dining. It's trying to be good. And that's exactly what it is.
