HAPPILY EVER AFTER…read more.. Came here for the grand opening in the late afternoon and couldn't eat dinner afterwards! I mean that in a good way. The bowls are hefty and full, so they fill you up. if you are going to get full, you might as well get full on goodness of healthy ingredients. The bowls are constructed with care and neatly arranged to make it as delightful to look at as they taste. It is nice that they have signature bowls on the menu for those indecisive, choosy people. But you can freestyle your bowl to customize what ingredients you want as well. The Pitaya base was like a sorbet / ice cream and the chia seed pudding was not slimy or weird, but added a nice parfait texture. They both went well together in the BLUE LAGOON bowl which was overall very refreshing, especially on a warm day. There are 2 sizes of bowls, Regular and Large but the Regular size is 16 ounces! A whole pound of food! So that is plenty for one person. The Large is definitely a shareable size (24 oz). Sharing is caring so you can bring a group here. I can see this place being a hang out, as there is quite a bit of space with tables inside and also a patio area. If you are new to Acai Bowls, you might think it is pricy for 1 portion, but you get what you pay for. You pay almost $10 for a fast food meal that is processed junk. But by spending a little more, at least you are eating healthy and get surprisingly stuffed (with possible leftovers) from the bowls. This place can be good for a morning boost with offerings such as smoothies and toast. Or even come here for dessert, make it a happy ending. There are ice cream sandwiches for purchase. But, why not normalize smoothies and acai bowls for dessert? How you feel is a direct result of what you put into your body. Across the parking lot is McDonalds like the devil, and the angel, Everbowl, both on your shoulders. Which one is enticing you? Do yourself and your family a favor, choose the health of your loved ones so they will have an Unbelieve-a-bowl Happily Ever After.

A welcoming little cafe for appetites looking for gluten free options!…read more I was introduced to Crave Protein Cafe through a Yelp boot camp event and recently when I did a search for GF options this one popped up. It was refreshing to see signage that declared products that were GF. Protein smoothies, coffee drinks, salads, wraps, sandwiches, rice bowls, salads and cookies make up the menu. The staff was more than happy to answer questions regarding any menu items. No need to play "Guess Which Menu Item Won't Make Me Regret Lunch." I dined here twice in a week. My first visit I had a seasonal latte, my friend had one and a chocolate GF muffin top. All were very good! On my return visit I enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich with kale chips. I was thrilled that they could accommodate my request for no onion or garlic products and they offered gluten free bread. Toasted with paper thin green apple slices and plain mayo instead of their herbed mayo my $13.95 lunch was satisfying and tasty! My friend had the roasted chicken sandwich for $11.95 and only ate half because she was full on the meaty chicken breast within the slices of bread. We stayed a while and admired the cute decor which was supplied by the sister business, Olive Branch just two doors down. It was nice to enjoy a friend's company over a good lunch and not feel rushed. I'll be back.

I have had Crave Protein Cafe on my list of places to try for a while, but just recently made a…read morevisit! I was hungry for a light meal to fuel me for an afternoon workout. I did a quick search on Yelp and realized I was less than a mile away from this cafe. The space has a cozy and welcoming feel. There's tons of seating. The staff greeted me as soon as I entered. The young woman behind the counter was very helpful. The menu offers sandwiches, shakes, pastries, and more. The tuna melt sounded great to me so I ordered that with gluten free bread as well as a GF pastry. I think it was a muffin top. Both items were delish! I devoured the tuna salad in the cafe before leaving and it helped me with my workout later that afternoon. The pastry was delightful as well. It was light and not too sweet. I came back a couple of weeks later and brought my husband who was looking for a healthy drink after we played golf. We both got shakes. My husband got the green goddess and I was looking for something refreshing so I got the Caribbean crush which has coconut milk, pineapple, vanilla protein, mango, strawberries, and OJ. It was exactly what I needed!
