Our purchase process was great. We were actually on the way to Phoenix to purchase a trailer when we saw one in their web sight. My wife called them and asked about some specific measurements and that we were on Hwy headed out to Phoenix to buy. they said they would check and call us right back. They did and it is what we wanted. It was late and they were close to close time but they showed us the unit and we decided to buy. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly. Service is also great. Doug went out of his way to fix an issue before a planned trip. We traveled from Texas to Phoenix for a family wedding. When we returned to our RV all power was out. We determined it was on our end so we called and although it was peak season the good folks at Cactus RV were able to get us in, understanding our predicament. The service manager Doug got us unhooked and we were called shortly with the issues and after making sure we had a place to stay, they ordered the parts and got us on the road with a one day delay. We limped in desperate for any help at 4:30pm on a Friday with a broken 5th wheel hitch. 3 gentleman immediately came out and diagnosed the problem caused by another dealership with the hitch and they were able to get us back on the road in 30 minutes saving our entire camping trip. I offered to pay for the part and they declined any sort of compensation and seemed happy to just be able to help. It's hard to find this attitude and willingness to help anywhere anymore. Beware if you expect customer service after purchase. Purchased new Crest tritoon, came from Lake Havasu as prices were lower, about a 4 hour drive each way. Following issues discovered when got it home: -upholstry glue sprayed on chrome, looked like rust. -electric bimini incorrectly installed. Bimini would not fully open resulting in flapping causing a rip first time on lake. -when breaking in mercury outboard discovered hour meter not working (try breaking in without hour meter) later discovered wiring not connected. -second time on lake started running rough, had to limp in. -third time on lake some guages and stereo not working. Intermittent issue. Contacted Cactusrv about issues. Told had to check with Crest about bimini. (Have to assume they wouldn't cover rigging error). Told to take to local dealer for engine issue. Local dealer refused to honor warranty as boat wasn't purchased there. Paid for repair (fuel pickup cracked) out of pocket. As boating without bimini on lake havasu impossible, also paid for repair out of pocket. Took about 3 weeks of calls to get Cactus to reimburse. Also relocated bimini brackets myself. Gave up on Cactus handling electrical issues after a couple months. Tech requested photos of wiring. He never called back. After weeks was told he quit. Suggested they make payment arrangements with local dealer to repair, especially since they didn't have a tech. No response! Told Ron (GM) would be leaving negative review. Responded wasn't concerned with negative review. He's the GM and very busy. Told him I've had boat for months and still not running correctly. He insisted he wanted to help. No response when suggested paying local dealer for thier work and request his reimbursement from Crest himself as he sold boat. Crickets! read more

I purchased a new 2020 Shockwave toy hauler from Cactus RV brand new. I also purchased the extended warranty. Over New Years weekend we went camping and noticed that our electric awning was not working properly and was not retracting like it is supposed to. I took my trailer back to Cactus to have the awning fixed with some other things. They charged me for everything but did not report any"repairable" issues to the warranty dept. now I have my trailer home and just put out the awning before we head out to camp. The awning they assured me was fine moves very slow both in and out and my extended warranty is expired. Needless to say I will have to pay someone to tell me what is wrong with it, as it is clear that Cactus does not have service people who are aware of how fast awnings are supposed to move. After further research I need a motor for my awning and the end caps that their service manger,Mike, repaired and told us they needed screws what he really meant is that instead of giving us a new set he glued into place. I purchased a Crest tritoon from Cactus Rv and they were the best polite professional then I had an accident and required some work done and a recall work on the Mercury 150 I went in today to pick it up after a month and the Owner became super upset and began to curse at me in front of my 6 yr old daughter because, the comment I politely said was the work should have been done the 1st time and he called me ungrateful along with some very derogatory comments if i could have left the boat I would have I will never recommend them to anyone or use there service. read more

I bought my brand new Eclipse Stellar 32KSG RV in November. There are tons of minor issues that they promised to fix. They even included this in one of the contract documents that said it had to be fixed within 30 days. They replied with one email two weeks ago saying they will send someone to fix it. I haven't heard anything since. The manufacturer says that the dealer has to fix it. Angel is the worst person that I've ever dealt with. He was the finance manager and is supposed to be taking care of these issues. No response by phone or email. When signing the paperwork he was a used car salesman, saying don't worry about this form just sign it. That was the form that said that they didn't have to fix anything. I had to force him to add the repairs. And the owner Phil could not care less about selling a good product. He told me and other customers that if we asked for anything to be fixed he wouldn't sell us a brand new rv, that we can just leave now. read more

WOW!! I will start by staying that we live 835 miles from Cactus RV and we worked with Sean on our purchase over a month long period. Being the control freak that I am, this stressed me out purchasing a brand new 2016 $58K toy hauler, sight unseen. There were a few hiccups through the process because the initial toy hauler we wanted was sold and we loved all the custom details and upgrades that that toy hauler had. Sean had already heard about 3 other disappointments we had with losing out on a few other toy haulers we'd found online and he wanted our business so he talked with Phil, the owner and wanting to make us happy, they were able to contact the manufacturer to have them custom build us our own toy hauler with some of the same features that we wanted and some other upgrades we didn't initially know about. To reiterate, I'm a control freak and that said, we were constantly nagging them about all the details, cost, upgrades, financing and we still needed to purchase a 5th wheel hitch to be able to move the beast. I was a wreck at times, especially since we wouldn't get photos of it until the day that we were to start our 12 hour drive to pick it up because they couldn't take pictures until they picked it up from the manufacturer. It was a bit of a rush/time crunch because of holidays, time off work coordination and the turn-around drive that we faced. The entire time all of this was going on, Sean and (I believe it was another Sales Manager) Jeff were assuring, reassuring, and promising that we would be happy when we saw it and that they would make it right, guaranteed everything would be in order and ready to go by our time deadline. We were in Tuscon by 6 AM on the day of pick up and we were told that they would be there and open early to get everything detailed, tanks filled, appliances checked and a full walk through of the RV. We were surprised to see that at just about 6:30 the crew started to arrive and were immediately at work on our toy hauler. Because we were anxious to get a glimpse of our new toy hauler, we pulled in and parked, you know, one of those annoying customers that can't leave things be. I'm pretty sure us being there that early, standing around, hovering, watching their every move wasn't fun for them, but they humored us and let us walk around and start looking at everything. I even made a peace offering to the hard working guys by going and picking up a couple dozen doughnuts which they thanked us for. Going above and beyond our expectations, they were able to get us the 5th wheel hitch we needed and installed it for us. The paperwork was easy and the numbers were as agreed upon. We were even able to do a last minute switch up on the batteries for our solar package to golf cart batteries. The owner, Phil and our salesman Sean were very patient, informative and graciously accommodating. Their crew of workers that went through every inch of the toy hauler were kind, hard-working and I never once heard them complain about our hovering and the early morning start. All in all - I know this is a long review, but this stress crazed, OCD, control freak was able to leave Cactus Auto RV not only with a smile and warm fuzzy feelings, but with a contentment that there REALLY are companies still out there at are family owned and operated, that appreciate their customers, that go above and beyond to make things right and stand by their word to get things done. Phil and his crew are top notch and I can only hope that we'll run into them somewhere on the road out playing with our toys in the sand. And... should we ever be in the market for another RV of any type, we will be contacting Cactus Auto RV FIRST because they're not only great professionals, they're now part of our extended family. read more

I went to 8+ RV dealers in Tucson and Phoenix to look at them before making my decision. Some are nearly identical. What it came down to was trust and helpfulness. Sean F. at Cactus RV didn't try to take advantage of my initial naivity, and took the time to find the best fit and explained everything to make me feel comfortable. We rented a Rage'n toy hauler last minute during the week of 4th of July and were very pleased with our experience. Brendan (aka Phil Jr?) was very helpful and professional throughout the entire rental process. Everything with the toy hauler met or exceeded our expectations. We did have a tire blowout on our way out of town and called Cactus RV immediately to let them know we would be coming in to get another spare. Paperwork was completed for purchase unless then an hour. The whole thing was done in two visits! The delivery was excellent! It was very detail oriented. The trailer was clean when we looked at it, and when it was delivered to us, it looked damn near new! We are very happy with our experience. They're a full service RV dealership. We will refer our friends and family here and return here when it's time to upgrade! I dont recommend them at all i Recently bought a used unit from them and to start out after receiving the travel trailer I had to take it back to them for water leaks and a damaged to the awning that was already done before i took it off the lot they had my camper for almost 4 weeks for repairs And now recently or this past weekend I decided to take the travel trailer out for the long weekend to the Lake on my expeditions up to the Lake I had lost a wheel bearing and resulting of the whole tire and rim coming off the trailer and flying down the highway I would think there should be something that they would take care of considering of only on the camper for 3 months and has less than 300 miles on it To say the least I'm not very happy and they will not stand behind fixing it or even help fix it they coulda killed someone by not doing the inspection they say they do read more

I want to make sure, that no one else bothers purchasing ANYTHING with these clowns. We purchased a 30 thousand dollar toy hauler in March of 2017. CASH. Pulled it off the lot and over to a small trailer park across the street from them. While we were in it, we discovered our main window would not close all the way. Clearly a maufacture defect. Called ANGEL the service manager and HE and another worker came over to look at it. Yes it needed to be replaced, and they were supposed to be calling for prices and how long it would take etc. Then the texts and calls began stopping completely when we contacted them. Fast forward to now. Still they have not fixed it. Have not done anything. Three weeks ago hubby called and texted and finally got ahold of Angel. He acted like he didn't know who we were, or what we were talking about. (funny he was the one that went to see the dam thing in the first place months ago!) Apparently they were having a "rainstorm" and he said at that time it would be a couple days but they would get it over to Cactus RV for servicing and replacement of said window. Two weeks went by. Yesterday, spouse texted to see if they had got the trailer and got the window ordered. Guess what? Our trailer, is still sitting in our storage area, and they have not done a thing. We have had it. We have purchased many many cars in our lifetime, as well as boats and wheelers etc. We have NEVER had such a inappropriately run business when it comes to servicing what they sell for these BIG name RV and Toyhaulers. They have all these five star reviews on their own personal website seeming to portray them in a different light...but all you have to do is experience it, and read yelp reviews..ANGELS name is all over the place with how BAD he is for customer care. If you are looking to buy a Toyhauler or RV in Tucson Arizona, go elsewhere trust me. One expects more professionalism when doing business with people like this. This place is the absolute worst. Bought a travel trailer last October. We've had nothing but problems with it since we bought it. We had a black tank leak first. Contacted them, as we had to get to to the dealer. Long story short, it took two months to get fixed. We've had lots of smaller problems. They say they'll send someone to fix it, but they don't. Limited space to bring it to their place for repairs. The owner is a world class piece of crap. Treated me, my friend and her father like trash. Very very shady, unscrupulous folks at this place. Currently we have a propane leak on the rv. No one there cares, I guess they'd rather have it explode. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, don't let the cheap prices fool you, as with anything in life, you get what you pay for. read more

I think it's funny they wean out any reviews less than 5 stars on their website. I left a review there but no one will see it so I came here. Things started out fine until the RV we ordered Wasn't the one delivered. We had to go back and resign paperwork as the first set was in-correct. Tons of issues with the camper and it has spent more time at the repair shop (keep in mind it's brand new RV too) than out camping. And then we receive notification that our GAP insurance was dropped due to non-payment yet we have the paperwork showing we paid for this. We have been contacting them for the last month and NO ONE IS CALLING US BACK! Everytime we call, we get told the guy we need to speak with isn't in. The customer service is by far the worst and I wouldn't recommend anyone to spend any time at this dealership. Everyone we know who has purchased anything, even a boat they never got from Cactus, has had awful service from here. I wish we would've seen these reviews before we purchased ours, otherwise we would've never bought from here. Don't waste your time or money here. I explained I was driving from Phoenix to Tucson and wanted no surprises when I saw the unit. They had two weeks for inspection yet waited until today when we were scheduled to pick it up at 2 pm to tell us they discovered a problem with generator and would try to fix only to call a half hour later to tell us the flooring was bad and we couldn't buy it as they were sending it to auction!!! **** DO NOT BUY FROM CACTUS RV!!!! ***** The brand new $70,000 toy hauler I bought from Cactus RV had severe mechanical and construction issues from day 1. It took repeated phone calls to get over 20 failures resolved (or at least so I had hoped) and they had to be taken care of by another and completely unrelated dealership since Cactus RV never had time or space for my rig just a few days after purchase. Their multiple trips to the dunes were far too important to provide any type of customer service when byers such as myself were in need. After 3 trips my trailer still had severe constructions issues, which is the primary reason why I'm writing this review. The mirror in the half bathroom flew off the wall ripping off the wall itself, scratching the wall in front of it and then gauging the door that gives access to the garage. The mirror fell with such violence that the gauge went through the whole door and it's plainly visible from the other side. This happened in January 2016. I called Cactus RV and I had the displeasure to talk to the same incompetent and rude clerk (Angel Torres). He said he would relay the information to the manufacturer and get a new door ordered. Weeks went by and I did not receive a single phone call from Angel. April comes along and I am starting to lose my patience. I shoot an email to Mr. Torres asking "where is my door? And I added yet another manufacturer's issue in the very same bathroom: the frame of the other door (accessing the kitchen) is completely warped, which prevents the door from shutting and locking in to place thereby allowing it to slam freely during travel and damaging the outside wall. This very issue was reported to Mr. Torres back in November 2015 and it was not addressed. Apparently they made "adjustments" so that it wouldn't happen again. He claimed that the manufacturer is hard to get a hold of and that they are the ones at fault for not shipping the door. He also asked for pictures of the frame so that he could discuss that with the manufacturer's rep. Not only did I take detailed pictures, but I even took measurements so that he could see how badly the frame was warped. In a reply to my email with attached photos, Mr. Torres said he would discuss the issue with the owner (Phil) and get back to me. It's been another month and I haven't heard a word. I sent an email out to Mr. Torres once again stating that my patience had reached its limit and that I demanded my new door and the frame repaired ASAP in order to avoid a legal action. As a response Mr. Torres replied that a lawsuit would not get me anywhere and with a dismissive tone he asked to explain the SAME ISSUE ALL OVER AGAIN (both for the gauged door and the warped frame). Needless to say nothing was ever done by Cactus RV whether it came to ordering the new door or getting the other door frame replaced or repaired. At this point I contacted another authorized dealership which is handling the situation as I speak. RENTALS DEPARTMENT is junk too! I had a camping trip coming up and my father expressed interest in renting a toy hauler for our ATVS. After looking on the internet I found cactus auto RV I called and spoke with Anthony. He was very happy to help me with my reservation. He was also quick to ask for a large deposit on my credit card. Shortly after making the reservation I had another friend become available for the camping trip. I called back Cactus auto RV the very next day and asked about the availability of a larger trailer. The slime ball (Anthony) assured me they have the next size up trailer that would accommodate my camping party nicely and it to was available for the time frame I had requested. I asked that he change my reservation to the larger trailer and cancel my older reservation. Three weeks before my trip old girl (Anthony) calls me up and starts crying about how their is a small mechanical issue with the larger trailer, but not to worry it should be all cleared up by my trip. He also said if it wasn't ready in time that he has a similarly sized trailer that he could have ready just in case. Well a week or so past so I call up old girl Anthony and he says the trailer is not ready and not to worry. About two weeks out from my trip I call and Anthony answered and immediately begins whining about the trailer would not be fixed (4 weeks lead time) in time for my trip. Then he began to sell me on the smaller trailer that I originally reserved. I told him it will not be big enough because I have 2 more friends going and it won't work. Then Anthony begins saying " Bro lets just be honest with each other" and I asked to speak with his manager and he said "Bro that's not necessary" and hung up on me!!!! I called some friends who bought trailers from cactus and they weren't surprised to hear my story and when I called to speak with the store manager a boy whom I can only assume is Anthony's BFF took my name and number and nobody from cactus management ever called back! Now I'm a week out from my trip with NO trailer! Thanks Cactus Auto RV! I only gave 1 star on this review because I had to in order to post it! read more

My wife and I had looked for months to find the right RV/Toy Hauler to meet our needs which was out of the ordinary since we have a handicap brother and mother that uses a walker or wheel chair daily. We had about given up before we went to Cactus RV. Robert our sale rep saw our frustration and asked what exactly our needs were. He then asked if we were open to looking at something different from what we though we needed. He showed us the Genesis Supreme 23FB. With a few changes it worked better than we could have ever hoped for. The entire staff worked hard and completed some re-modifications that absolutely blew me away. Devin and the service crew are the best in the business and the sales team is top notch. Supported by a dynamite Admin staff I would recommend Cactus RV to anyone who was looking at such a purchase!
