She said she could do a loaner after having vehicle for at least 48 hrs. I asked if I could speak to someone with clearer communication. Another service dept employee asked what I wanted. I explained AGAIN that I could not understand her and other things. His response was, "nobody is perfect, this is the real world". I was like, what????? He was curt and dismissive with me. I rarely leave negative reviews, but Gateway Chevrolet needs to make this right…read more After recall work on my truck resulted in additional issues, I dealt with conflicting information, poor communication, and an 8.5-hour wait for a repair I was told would take approximately three hours. Because of how poorly the situation was handled, a service manager personally contacted me, apologized, and promised me THREE FREE OIL CHANGES as compensation. Now that I'm trying to use what was promised, I'm being told there is NO RECORD of the offer. I was then promised another call back to resolve it, and once again, nobody called. I'm not asking for additional compensation or special treatment. I'm asking Gateway Chevrolet to stand behind its word and honor the three free oil changes its own manager promised me. At this point, it's not about the oil changes. It's about whether a customer can trust a commitment made by dealership management. I would appreciate someone from Gateway Chevrolet contacting me and making this right. Until then, I cannot recommend this service department.

I had a very disappointing experience at this dealership Echo Park Avondale, AZ…read more I scheduled a visit to test drive a vehicle I found online and arrived prepared to purchase the vehicle with my own financing already secured. Unfortunately, after spending more than 90 minutes at the dealership, I never even got to see or test drive the vehicle. My salesperson, Kim ( a dishonest, disheveled, incompetent ,ungroomed, inappropriate unprofessional man), repeatedly failed to provide basic information I requested. When I asked for the battery State of Health (SOH) report, I was instead shown tire tread information. It took approximately 40 minutes just to receive a copy of the Carfax report. He wanted me to look at his iPad when I asked for a paper copy. I was told the dealership could not locate the vehicle key because another employee, Hayden, had checked it out and was on lunch. I waited over an hour and a half for the key to be returned, but the vehicle was never made available. I was later told that I would receive a call once the key was returned. When I asked to speak with a manager, Austin came out and assured me that someone would follow up. As of today, I have still not received any communication from either the salesperson or management. I also requested a call from the General Manager and have not received a response. The only employee who provided professional and courteous customer service was Michelle, who handled appointment scheduling. Overall, I felt my time was not respected, communication was poor, and the dealership was unprepared to assist a customer who was ready to purchase a vehicle. Based on my experience, I would recommend that potential buyers do thorough research and ask detailed questions before doing business here.

We were searching for a 2026 Jeep Rubicon and couldn't find anything on the lot or even within 10 miles online. Yelena Pavon didn't stop there--she took the initiative to check the delivery lot and came back with the exact vehicle we ended up buying. That level of effort and dedication is rare and definitely deserves recognition. Mario handled the deal and was fantastic to work with. He was flexible, solution-focused, and found a creative way to include side steps, which we really wanted. You can tell he cares about making things work for the customer. Aurello Gonzalez in Finance made the paperwork easy--clear, efficient, and professional. The biggest surprise was the follow-through: Yelena Pavon personally delivered the vehicle to our home and picked up our trade-in. That's above-and-beyond service. We would absolutely recommend Yelena Pavon and Mario to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. This team truly earns your business.

When I returned to pick it up, my advisor, Esteban, could not locate my paperwork or vehicle and repeatedly asked if I was sure it was still there. Customer service later asked me to bring the vehicle back and promised the dealership would cover my rental. When I arrived, Esteban again seemed unaware of the appointment. After additional issues were found, he quoted me less than $1,300 and confirmed that their $300-off promotion would apply, bringing my total below $1,000. I authorized the repairs based on that price. When the vehicle was finished, I was suddenly told I owed $1,359.90, with no clear explanation for why the confirmed discount was not reflected. I also asked about a loaner and was told I would receive a call back, but that never happened. I was then told I could be responsible for additional rental days, despite customer service specifically promising rental coverage and the dealership's poor communication delaying the process. The entire experience involved conflicting information, missed follow-ups, an unexplained price increase, and very little assistance from my advisor. This is exactly why customers hesitate to use dealership service departments. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location and will not return.
