However, when it comes to the food, I ordered their pork spareribs with plum sauce, the plum sauce was incredible the beans and rice that came with it were awesome. However, when it came to the pork ribs, I was very disappointed if I'm paying $27 for four pork spare ribs I expect those ribs to be plump juicy and fall off the bone not tasting like beef jerky. Been to this location several times now and it's very consistent. Slightly upscale but have seen lots casual dressed. I wouldn't go anything less than jeans and a nice shirt. It's loud inside and usually packed. Entry is opposite the main parking lot so if you park on the west side it's closer to entry. Staff is always on point. They are friendly and helpful. My favorite is the filet fajitas. Only place I can find that serves them. That are tender and perfect. Cocktails are excellent and the margaritas are bomb. I go for a horntios black and it's perfect. Prices are a bit high for Tex mex but it's elevated ingredients so I'm ok with that. Great date night place fantastic food and service. Seating close to entry has a lot of people waiting so if you can ask for seating away from the door. read more

Emma is an amazing server! Refills were often and she frequently checked in on us. She explained the appetizer platter easily and made our night very enjoyable. Food was amazing and the garlic butter for the bacon wrapped shrimp is super delicious. Only downsides are the restaurant is super loud and the frozen margarita melts very fast and came partially melted, but tasted amazing! This restaurant is well decorated with a unique vibe with nice music in the background. The food was good but we had to wait for silverware which was backwards. Dishes also piled up on the table which was annoying They served fresh tortilla chips and salsa which is served warm. It was flavorful but one person in the group didn't care for warm salsa. We have never been to Marty Bs, as we are not in tune with their political views, so I had nothing to which to compare Cactus Canyon, as so many others have in their reviews. But first let me say this restaurant is stunning! Very modern and dark, with loud but fun music playing. We went late on a Sunday, and it wasn't crowded. The service was exceptional and much more professional than other restaurants in the area. The three of us sat in a booth in the bar area. My daughter is pregnant, and they had a few mocktails for her to choose from. My other daughter and I got frozen margaritas, which were delicious. We started with the rich and savory poblano queso, which was utterly different from regular queso but very good. We then shared fajita beef quesadillas, fish tacos, and chicken fajitas. All were incredibly good and made with quality ingredients. The fish tacos were some of the best we've ever had, and the quesadilla was loaded with beef. This restaurant is not inexpensive, but the food and atmosphere match the cost. I understand they have a waitlist for busy weekend evenings, which is fantastic as there are not a lot of upscale restaurants in the area. Walked in for a table of two on a busy night, and seated right away. The parking lot was full, the bar seating was scarce, but they had a booth ready with 0 wait. Our waitress Kailyn??? was phenomenal. Best service i've had anywhere in a long time. Knowledgeable of the menu, promptly and clearly communicated off the menu items, made a few suggestions, and was there anytime we had a question. If she didn't stop by, her manager, or other wait staff was there to serve and check in. Awesome and they found a way to be attentive and let us enjoy our time Food and drink, really good. The best fajitas i've ever had, that beef was incredible. We shared the Canyon Combo (chicken, beef, bacon wrapped shrimp). The beef was flavorful and tender. We traded the peppers in favor of portobello mushrooms. The chicken was really good too. The queso options were really good with a mixture of cheeses, beef, and other mix-ins. The drink menu was extensive as well. We ordered the house margarita and not a Karen margarita, i added a mezcal old fashioned and my wife had a clear margarita. All were top notch. Then we had the 5 layer ice cream cake with crushed pistachios and waffle cones and Ooey Gooey ice cream. I hesitate to mention this because i doubt surprise free dessert is something that happens regularly, but we were completely full and taking home leftovers when this arrived and we had no problems making room for it. The Texican Egg Rolls are one of the best tasting items anywhere and the top shelf marg lives up to its name! Cilantro dressing was good but get it with a side of their chimichurri. Oh my.... Chorizo mac n cheese was another star. I don't like chorizo but this was the best ever!All the drinks we ordered were also on point. Dessert we got the sopapilla cheesecake. Meh- it was just cheesecake with caramel. Still good but we wanted the layers and more traditional. I got the frozen espresso martini for dessert and it was also the best! Ended up getting another to go for later. The true winner of the night was our server, Zach. He busted his a$$ and was so personable! Best service we've had in a long time!! The mgr, Kay (I think?!?!) also came by to check on us a few times. Met a friend here for dinner. The atmosphere was great, the service was spectacular, and the food was better than expected. I had the off menu fillet with the Mac n cheese. WOW!!! Amazing. Vibe is cool. Make sure you have time to wait- we waited about 1.5hrs Friday for a table of 8 (they advised 1hr wait at 6:40). There is an outside covered lounge to wait. House marg is $10 (cheapest). I'll stick with other Marty Bs restaurants. Queso was meh. Our table didn't finish it. Tortilla soup was gelatinous thick and too spicy for me (I'm vanilla and made sure to ask prior), took home most of it and hopefully husband will finish it. Underwhelming for most in our group. The food was utterly amazing. The Carne Asada here is the best I've ever had. The queso with bits of fillet mixed in was incredibly yummy. The margaritas are on point. The frozen espresso is incredibly tasty. Even the Manager was extremely nice and came by to check on us to make sure everything was to our liking.
