The meal was excellent, or would have been if it wasn't cold, disappointed that the order service was so bad. It would have been much faster (at least for me) to have placed an order over the phone rather than enter all sorts of required information on their website that made no difference and can only be used for marketing purposes. I received an email saying "Estimated pickup time is 6 - 8 minutes," and I arrived about 10 minutes later. Apparently, it is not possible to call them (and talk to a real person), the store only accept texts. Sent multiple texts saying that I was in the designated parking place outside. Finally went inside (which I did not want to being high risk) and saw my order sitting on a rack, but I was told by an employee that I was not able to grab it, before the order taker could mark it off. That made sense, but having to wait another 10 minutes for the cashier to tell me that I could take it was unacceptable, she could have just written the name or order number on a piece of paper and marked it off on her register when convenient. Ended up taking OVER 30 minutes from when I received the email which would not be a big deal, except it had gotten cold and I had based my next appointment based on the time the website promised the food and more importantly, the email that Cabo Bob sent "to me" confirming it. read more

Cabo Bob's on Ben White is always a go-to spot for me. Their flour tortillas mixed with the cheddar tortilla are a game-changer--I always ask for both, and it's totally worth it. My go-to protein is either the steak or chicken, but they have plenty of options, including a solid fish option. From there, I go all out with toppings, piling on everything I love, and always finish it off with a little queso inside the burrito. Their queso chips are another highlight--always warm, crispy, and served with a generous portion of queso that's perfect for sharing (or not!). I also love their drink selection, which includes some unique fountain drinks you don't see everywhere. The atmosphere is clean, warm, and fun, with a relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for a quick Tex-Mex fix without the full sit-down experience. The staff is always friendly, and the location is easy to get in and out of, which is a big plus. I've been coming to this location for a while, as well as their spot near the UT campus, and it's consistently great. Cabo Bob's is high on my list of favorite burrito places in Austin, and I can't recommend it enough! read more

Hi this is JoJo!!! I think I'm Cabo Bob's official mascot I've been there so many times! We cater it for almost everything! And not just cause I convince my mom. It's because Cabo Bobs is AMAZING!!!! All my friends love it, all my enemies love it, and I especially love it! I'm a picky eater, but when I go there even the things I don't like smell really good! I get the same thing every time: queso and chips, with a side of fajita meat. But it seems like every order is even more delicious than the last one! Cabo Bobs is in a convenient place, and me and my dad go there every week, sometimes more! My mouth waters the whole car ride! There's not always too long of a line, it's usually really short. And Cabo Bobs is right by ChickFilA, Starbucks, Walmart, and other places like that. It's also not at all expensive! I love Cabo Bobs, and it's even worth a six hour drive there and back from my sister's college! This Mexican restaurant has something for everyone: picky eaters, vegetarians, gluten free and so on! Thank you Cabo Bobs for being my all time favorite place ever! read more

This is one of my favorite fish taco stops in Austin! The fish is fried and the chunks are decent size. We had ordered the Deluxe Fish Tacos. The order includes three tacos which are unique. For example, the tortillas are cilantro tomatillo tortilla, the second is an anch chilli and the third is a buttermilk tortilla. The filler ingredients are chipotle crema, pico-de-gallo with mango, guacamole, cheese, finely shredded cabbage, lime and fresh crispy fried fish. The deluxe fish was my ultimate favorite. You can taste all the various ingredients from the crispy fired fish, avocado, cheese the smooth cream, tangy lime and spicy chipotle with a little crunch from the cabbage and finally the unique tortillas. Overall, a really delicious food and the service was fast and friendly. If you are looking for a quick, casual, tasty meal, this is a good stop. read more

I really love it every time I come in here. With it's popularity it was awesome to be able make it in before the lunch rush and have Luci press my ancho chile tortilla right there just as fresh as it could be. Dylan & Maria asked me how my day was going and also getting to choose all the fillings and toppings myself is really one of the best parts of coming to cabos. "You really get to enjoy it how you like it" I had some chips & queso with my taco and Jessica made sure everything was to my liking before Liz asked if she could add anything to make my meal complete. "Fuel for the journey, definitely!" I want to thank Emma for seeing how my meal was and I think we both agreed it's hard not to like this place and can definitely eat here everyday. It's easy to see why people come from all over just to stop in and grab some of Austin favorite food. read more

Absolutely love this place! Burrito's as big as your head! Fresh ingredients and tortillas made on the spot. We had ordered the Deluxe Fish Tacos. The order includes three tacos which are unique. So. Did I seriously just give a hole-in-the-wall burrito joint 5 stars? Yes, but before you stone me, I did it for you my Yelpies... Have you ever inhaled a burrito like an asthmatic with his precious Albuterol canister? I would say no, that is until I tried Cabo Bob's brisket and queso burrito. It was love at first bite. I laughed, I cried, I wobbled out of there like a penguin because these burritos are LEGIT. The size of my newborn girl if you can believe it. Anyway, why are you still reading this? You must ditch your monthly Chipotle indulgences and spend all of your hard earned Pesos at Cabo Bob's. Can you breathe without the remains of a Cabo Bob burrito on your tongue? Sure, but I wouldn't recommend it. read more

We always saw long lines at Cabo Bob's and finally gave in, and it was worth it! Even though it's assembly-line style like Chipotle, the menu is way more impressive. They make the tortillas fresh right in front of you (the Ancho Chile one is a must). The staff were super friendly and kept things moving despite the dinner rush. My first visit was solid. The Best Steak Burrito was tasty, though the rice was a bit undercooked. My husband's chicken bowl was fresh and full of flavor. We were determined to give them another try and got takeout a couple days later. I doubled up the protein and they nailed it. Generous portions, great service, and fresh ingredients. Cabo Bob's definitely my go-to for fast-casual Mexican! read more

Cabo Bob's Burritos is an absolute gem! This was our first time trying this Texas-only delicacy, and it did not disappoint. Every visit has been a delicious experience, and it's quickly become a go-to spot for us. The flavors here are unique--unlike anything we've tried before. The variety is incredible, ensuring there's something for everyone. The burritos are a must-have, offering the best bang for your buck. Each bite is packed with flavor and freshness. Don't skip the queso--it's an absolute must-have! However, the guac didn't quite hit the mark for us, as it lacked a bit of flavor. But overall, Cabo Bob's is a standout, and we can't wait to come back for more! read more

This place by far is my favorite quick stop for fish tacos on the planet. They have the perfect amount of breading, and mixed with any of their hand-made fresh tortillas and some cabbage, they are to die for! I always eat all three of the tacos at once! The staff is always very energetic, and even during the lunch rush, they work as efficiently as possible to get the lines moving along! I do recommend using the online ordering system if you want to take it to-go and have more than a ten minute drive, it makes the tacos get in your stomach faster!! :) And, when I was a student, they took Topper Tender from St. Edward's University! read more

The place is tropical for sure. From the clear-coated surfboard tables to to the tiki hut on the wall all the way down to the fruits and veggies they pack into the burritos, tacos and bowls they serve. Don't expect another Freebirds or Chipotle when you walk into this place; it compares on such a minuscule level that it's not even worth trying. It's good for sure. They also offer sugar-cane flavored soft drinks for the soda-purists out there which is neither a plus or minus in my book because I could do without the extra boost of calories that a sugar cane soft drink might add. Overall good vibe, good food and fast service. read more

I've visited Cabo Bob's Burrito twice since they opened this location. On my first visit, I had the fish tacos--absolutely delicious and super generous portions! It's easily two meals for the price of one, so plan for leftovers. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful, and the queso was a great addition. On my second visit, I tried the veggie burrito. While it was mostly good, I made the mistake of adding grilled onions. They were so pungent that they overpowered the other flavors, which was disappointing. Overall, Cabo Bob's offers tasty food with generous portions, and I'll definitely be back to try more options. read more

When I first heard of this place, I thought, this restaurant was just another version of chipotle. Boy, was I wrong. Its much better than Chipotle's food. They have a good variety of tropical foods that can't compete. I really like the atmosphere of Cabo Bob's, too. It reminds me of somewhere foreign, which is a good thing because it makes me feel like I'm eating something foreign and exciting. I was very pleased with the customer service and how incredibly fast the employees were. As a first time customer, I think ordering My food was super easy. Lastly, my chicken tacos were fantastic! read more

The main difference in a burrito is the ingredients (of course). They have 4 different types of tortilla wraps and when you order, they smash it down and grill right before they start putting in the ingredients. Doesn't get any fresher than that. I love the smokey cheddar tortilla. I usually get the shredded pork or chicken, but they have steak, brisket and very nice looking fried fish (I just don't like fried fish getting soggy in a burrito). They have three different types of beans and two types of rice as well as the usual other fillings. read more

I was a little overwhelmed ordering here the first time but went out on a limb and ordered the fish tacos. They were phenomenal! The fish was crispy and tender and each different flavored tortilla was delightful. We went around 1 and there was a steady stream of people. The seating area inside was a little small but there was an outside area. This place was awesome! Can't wait to go back (and their peach soda is my new obsession). read more

Cabo Bobs certainly gives Chipotle a run for their money. I wish they where in Phoenix, AZ. The facility is clean, staff are very engaging, everything is made fresh while you wait along with the tortillas, and such fun seeing a tiny piece of dough turn into small or huge tortilla, plus they offer fresh fish, and a variety of different kinds of tortillas. Best Buck for your money. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. 10 read more

My husband & I eat here a few times a week. I always get the Veggie Burrito & he always get the Fish Burrito. We earn a free meal about once a month by making sure our loyalty card gets punched. The burritos are gi-normous so we always get 2 meals out of 1 burrito. The food is fresh, healthy, & delicious & the atmosphere at Cabo Bob's makes this one of our first stops with out-of-town guests. read more

I love Cabo Bob's! It's so much better than Chipotle. They have a variety of different tortilla choices and press/cook them in front of you. The fish tacos are outstanding and I find myself craving them when it's been a while. I used to work close to this one but alas ended up changing jobs and much further away. The one peeve I have is the line is ridiculous during lunch and dinner rush. read more

Best Burrito I've every eaten, and I'm picky! And they have DUBLIN DR PEPPER, and other cane sugar drinks. (I had no idea what that was, but mmm...!) Just go try it! THEY MAKE THE TORTILLAS RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF YOU, AND HAVE 4 FLAVORS! Also, This is the Best Vegan options I've seen anywhere--they don't slack on anything--they even have brown rice! Oh yeah! read more
