The burger
Jamie M.

We had a really pleasant experience here. I did not have high expectations for a hotel restaurant and bar, but the service was great, the food was solid, and the atmosphere had a contemporary vibe. We came for an early dinner before a concert and sat at a table by the bar. We were in a hurry, so we ordered our entrees straight away. My partner chose the burger, which was piled high with caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and dripping with horseradish aioli. The presentation was nice. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned. My partner was happy with his meal, and I enjoyed snacking on a few of his fries. Yum! I opted for the salmon in a green curry sauce with mushrooms, spinach, and a side of jasmine rice. The salmon was cooked to my liking, and the green curry sauce was flavorful. The dish was tasty -no complaints. The real surprise was the service. Because we were there so early, the bartender was also our server. For that reason, I expected the service to be lacking, but it was actually very attentive and added to the experience. If you happen to be staying at the Parc 55, Cable 55 is a solid option of you want a no hassle, convenient, but really decent dining experience.

Brunch Buffet
Venessa M.

We tried the brunch buffet which is $36/person and thought that the food and service were great. The staff was hospitable, professional, and courteous, especially our server Lloyd. The food stations were neat and clean, and had a variety of breakfast foods to choose from including hot foods, salads, pastries, breads, fruit, and cereals. We were seated by the windows looking out onto Market Street so we could see the bustling city streets that morning. Definitely a nice place to check-out if you're staying at the hotel and want to enjoy a restful breakfast.

Items from the breakfast buffet

Cable 55 is the restaurant inside the Parc 55 hotel. They offer items a la carte and also have a breakfast buffet for $36/person. The hotel charges a $35 fee/day for some reservations that can be applied to purchases made at the hotel, so the buffet is a great place to use it. However, I wouldn't say the buffet is worth $36. We were a little disappointed. It's basically all the standard breakfast items. You can order omelets, which we took advantage of. Our waitress didn't ever offer us water, which was strange. They also didn't have water available at the buffet, just juice. Their chia pudding is really good. They have fresh fruit and pastries. It's a convenient spot, but we ended up going somewhere else for breakfast our second morning at the hotel.

Expensive coffee

Staff is friendly and attentive. The food prices are expensive. Parfait and black coffee from the grab and go was $20.00. Buffet breakfast available for a fee. When they bring the floral arrangements out, great spot for pictures. Moët Chandon vending machine was the highlight.

Another view of the cute decor for Christmas

We came here twice when we were staying here at Parc 55 Hilton, mainly to use the food and beverage credit that we got for our Hilton Honors Gold perk, but we truly enjoyed ourselves both visits. First we came here the first night of our stay to get a little dinner. Husband got sliders and enjoyed those, as well as East Brothers Oatmeal Stout which he especially liked. I got a grilled cheese plate with salad and we also split a side of very tasty fries. I enjoyed all the food a lot. It was very basic food but very well executed! The service was friendly and fast and the ambiance was adorable. The hotel was decorated for Christmas but the Cable 55 bar area was over-the-top decorated (in a very cute way) kind of like a Christmas pop-up. It also had a special Christmas drink menu. That's what we sampled on our second visit: we tried the Christmas drinks. Well I did anyway -- my husband actually liked the stout from the day before so much that he got it again. I ordered the Mexican hot chocolate drink with tequila. It was a perfect balance of chocolatey milky warm goodness and tequila bite. And the whipped cream was absolutely decadent. We totally came here -- twice -- out of pure convenience and using our free credit but it was a really fun time both times, such that I would come here again even if I had to pay for it haha. It was lovely; much nicer than you expect from the typical hotel bar where you're just a captive audience.

I loved the selection of everything , and a great view while you eat. It's pretty busy in the morning , so be patient with your waiters. Although I wish they would have told us mimosas and buffet only means 1 mimosa . I ordered thinking it was bottomless hahah I had 3 and that was an extra 40$ I wasn't expecting to pay.

Why not take advantage of your hotel bar/restaurant? Especially when your hotel gives you a $35 voucher per day that can only be applied there. The positive is that the food is pretty decent, there's a good variety of drinks, and the overall ambiance is really nice. The negative is that almost everything here is almost 2x the usual price. I visited on a few occasions, one to order lunch (I got a burger as pictured and it was pretty tasty, although nothing super special), another to get appetizers (a charcuterie board and some sliders which were a lot smaller than expected), and another to grab drinks (which were pretty good but pricey). The service can be a bit slow depending on the time you visit, but if you're a hotel customer it's probably worth checking out at least once. I definitely wouldn't revisit if I didn't stay at the connecting hotel, but it was a decent experience.

Conveniently located in the hotel lobby. The service was quick and server was friendly. I didn't realize fries were extra, otherwise I don't think I would have ordered it (too much food!). Drinks were also delish!!

I ate at Cable 55 during a recent 4 night stay at the Parc 55 hotel. As a Hilton member, I got a food and beverage credit at the hotel, which was only usable at their restaurant, Cable 55. Overall, the food was fairly decent but very expensive. However, with the food and beverage credit, it made the price point a bit more palatable. During my stay, I had the following food items: - Mulligatawny soup - decently spiced, packed with various vegetables and lentils - Fish tacos - decently flavored, but wished that the fish were fried instead of seared - Turkey Reuben sandwich - not enough Reuben sauce so sandwich was quite dry. Turkey meat was very dry - I imagine since it might have been heated up too long. - Beet salad - this was actually quite tasty, but the portions were very small despite being $15. - Schnitzel salad - pretty tasty salad! Schnitzel was more prepared like a katsu since breading was a bit thick. The schnitzel did not include any dipping sauce or a lemon, which is a more traditional accompaniment in a European schnitzel. And lastly - I had the breakfast buffet for one of the days that I was there. The buffet was $35. In years past, Cable 55 also offered items like dimsum, but this was not available. The breakfast buffet included typical items like scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, fresh fruit, a selection of bread and pastries. You can also have eggs made your way (e.g. over easy, sunny side up, omelet, etc). Based on the offerings provided, I didn't think it was worth $35 since there wasn't much variety to be had for that price point. I'd recommend you save your money and go elsewhere for your breakfast, which would much cheaper! In sum, I wouldn't have eaten here unless I had this food and beverage credit to spend. If you are staying at the hotel and don't know what to eat, this place might be an ok option for you. But if you're a foodie (or on a budget), I'd skip this place. Save your money and go elsewhere for your eats.

Breakfast buffet options

Located next to check in, they offer Breakfast buffets in the morning for $35/pp. There is a decent amount of options there but standard hotel breakfast buffet fare. With that said, their fruit is delicious and all of them is sweet which is surprising cos I find hotel bfast fruits to typically be not ripe enough. Staff there is friendly and attentive as well.

The escape room is Alice In Wonderland themed and includes three drinks as part of the experience. Arrived on time for our reservation but were held in a waiting room for about 30 min before we could start. Didn't seem like anyone else was doing the escape room but it was also the week of their biz anniversary so maybe they were just super busy. Phoenix led our escape room and was such a delight. Friendly, great banter, helpful throughout the escape. The escape game is split across multiple rooms with a good diversity of puzzles. Don't want to spoil too much here but they were good challenges. Drinks we incorporated throughout and presented like test tubes that were drinkable in a gulp, kind of like a cocktail shot. Personally, I found the first two drinks to be a bit too sweet, but I liked the third, which was coconut forward. The price is definitely a bit more costly. It was $100/person for a party of five. I understand that it was an escape room + the staff + the cocktails. If you max out the party size, it's about $85-ish per person which I think is pretty solid. Still very unique and fun and glad I got to try it

This place has so much going on. It makes it ideal for so many different things. Hot day? Want to bring your doggie?? They have an airy patio and a bunch of cute tables out front. The patio is covered so when it rains, it's also ideal. Feeling bougie? Order some oysters and a glass of one of their fancy cocktails. Handicapp or have kiddos? They got you covered. Need a cool place for a dinner date? There's tables inside. Have a group? Also not a problem. Feeling peckish and just need to get out of the house? Go sit at the bar, order a beer, and watch the game. Make sure to order the thrasher fries with malt vinegar salt and pepper and Dijon and black pepper aïoli. It is truly as delectable as it sounds, and by far my favorite thing there! That being said, I am a french fry aficionado. We also tried the coconut chicken sandwich which I found to be a bit different than a lot of standard fried chicken sandwiches. I did ask for the chili sauce on the side because I don't like it to be too sweet. Boyfriend loved it with the chili sauce. I liked it without. I did order a side of aïoli. Another thing I found really nice was that they use the chicken thigh rather than the breast. Most of the fried chicken sandwiches I've had use the breast and this was a very nice change. The chicken was juicy and the sandwich was super tasty. They offer all sorts of tasty delights, like fish tacos, mochicko chicken bites, mac & cheese with or without bacon and crab! Yum. If I was to make one recommendation, it would be to add another salad to the menu. Your menu offers a wonderful variety of delicious treats that are on the richer and heavier side so having another option for something on the lighter side would be fantastic. The service here was outstanding. We came early on a Tuesday, and the bartender was great. She was very helpful and excellent at her craft. The other staff members were equally friendly and so welcoming. We don't get out as much as we'd like to anymore because we have a little one so it was awesome to go out and be treated with such kindness and great hospitality. To summarize: very mediocre and extremely overpriced. We ordered their Aged Sashimi, Uni Amaebi Donburi, and the Tori Nanban Sando for food, 2 drinks (one alcoholic and one non alcoholic), and the matcha affogato for dessert. Visually, everything looked nice. However, tiny portions for every dish, especially the aged sashimi. It came with 5 slivers of fish half the size of my pinky and one small ball of mashed up fish the size of a grape...for $40! The uni amaebi donburi was the best of out of the bunch and had better quality/taste despite being overloaded with rice, but nothing I can't find elsewhere for less (nearly $60 for a tiny bowl). The fried chicken sando was decent but had too much mayo and again, was tiny. Even my non alcoholic drink was super tiny with the ice block taking up more than 50% of the glass ($15). The most disappointing was the matcha affogato ($15)- no matcha flavor at all even though there was clumps of matcha in the bowl. Yes it was whisked in front of us, but clearly not enough or they are using lower quality grade matcha. For this experience, it came out to be nearly $100 per person before tip. I was thoroughly disappointed and can only blame myself for falling for the false hype. Will not be making this mistake again.
