Poor customer service. Cabinets etc in my island do not match my other cabinets even though I was assured they would. They refused to do anything about the problem. Also used them for counter tops and their markup is extremely high. I would not recommend them for cabinets, flooring or countertops. IF I could give them a negative rating I would. I PURCHASED from the Monroeville PA store but also dealt with corporate office they were just as bad as store. read more

Went looking for cabinets at different vendors, and came across Cabinets to Go in the City Of Commerce. The Store Manager, Danny, was very helpful and showed us all our options. Wife original wanted black Cabinets, but when we saw the Palm Beach Dark Chocolate Cabinets displayed in their showroom, my wife loved them but thought they would be too expensive. Danny gave us a GREAT deal on them and ordered them for us. Went home and started to Demo my Kitchen. Just as we were ready for the Cabinets, Danny called me to let me know they were in. As soon I got them home, I began to assemble and them. I could not believe how easy they were to assemble. I did the entire kitchen on my own, no help. I did have a friend help me install them though. That was a little harder because we had to lift them and level on the walls. But they came out looking BEAUTIFUL!!!! I would, and will recommend Cabinets to Go in the City of Commerce too all my friends that need cabinets. Thanks Danny, and look forward to working with you on other projects soon. read more

So let me start with saying we have ordered about a dozen kitchens from CTG Commerce over the last 8 years or so and not every order has gone perfectly. Mistakes happen sometimes on a design or items are ordered wrong once in awhile, items are on back order, etc. People make mistakes and It's just part part of business, its not intentional. At the end of the day however the quality of their cabinets, pricing and general service keep us coming back. Social media can be good and bad and negative reviews should always be taken with a grain of salt. Here's why.. People who leave bad reviews are often mad at the time and can make it seem like the employees do it on purpose or don't care and that is simply not true. They most likely post when they not getting their own way about something. Take the review from a bitter old woman who was mad at the company because she woke up one day and wanted to purchase a cabinet but because the CTG stores do not stock cabinets and had to place an order she took to social media and railed the store. What did those employees do wrong to deserve a 1 star review? Side note if you look at her other reviews the company she did purchase from also did not stock cabinets and had to order her cabinet but they received a 5 star review. Or the one from a customer who had to complain about the manager repeatedly asking for signed paperwork. Maybe if you would have been an adult handling your business and returned the requested paperwork he would not have had to keep asking you. Sounds like he put his job on the line by ordering items without having the proper paperwork yet he is made to be a bad guy. This store probably sells 25-30 kitchens per month and the vast majority of people aren't leaving reviews. Perhaps they are older folks or don't use yelp, who knows. Point is that far far more orders go right than the negative reviews suggest. read more

Visited the Commerce store for cabinet style ideas, cabinet color choices, and ballpark price ranges. We were greeted with a smile by a female employee and and Manager Danny. Danny was very helpful with answering questions and suggesting styling ideas based on the information that we gave him. The prices are awesome! We were impressed with the quality of the dovetail jointed drawers, and the beautiful quality cabinets. We were impressed with the clean displays and clean store. We plan on doing a kitchen upgrade in early-mid Spring. Will definitely return and do business with this store and these nice employees. Thank you Danny for taking time with us. :-) read more

Been waiting over a month to get them so I can resume work. I have called and spoke to management 2 times and they both asked to call me back and never returned the call. I cant understand why this place is called Cabinets-to-Go. First of all they have to order all of your cabinets from back east. Mine took 4 weeks to receive. The cabinets are solid wood but I didn't realize that they were Made in China as it was all over the boxes. The cabinets come un-assembled so it takes a bit of work to put them together. The manager is very unprofessional when it comes to the customers needs after the sale is complete. I did my last homes kitchen with cabinets from Lowes and the quality was far superior. Next time its Lowes or Home Depot. read more

When we went, they told us cabinets were in stock and they would be at store in 2 weeks, after paying for them in full, we are still waiting 2 1\2 months later, dont trust their estimate of time. We installed our cabinets 15 months ago and couldn't be happier. The service in the Claymont, Delaware store was fantastic. I wanted to wait at least a year before I left a review. Truly happy with the quality. One suggestion I would make; glue the cabinet, especially the face frame. This should alleviate some of the issues I read when I was researching them over a year ago. I would definitely recommend these cabinets. Good quality and easy to assemble. We had to minor issues that were immediately taken care of by customer support. read more

The product is something, ultimately, we are happy with. The service, however, was awful. We just received the final missing piece yesterday, after ordering October 23rd, 2018 and being told everything was in stock. We were not informed the order would be incomplete until the truck arrived with only some of what we had paid for. The delivery driver, when I asked, said "Yeah, this happens a lot. People get really mad at us." Getting an ETA on the missing pieces wasn't possible as no one had any information. My contractor finally gave up and went onto his next job, leaving our remodel incomplete and making it last a month more than his bid. All because of the cabinets. Fortunately, he was kind enough to come back to finish most of the job. This company will cost you way more than the sticker price. Please be careful and leave with everything, or cancel your order. read more

I went to the Cabinets to go in Manchester,NH and worked with Steve, after 3 visits I finalized my design and paid for the cabinets. I called emailed Steve after they were in to secure their delivery. I recieved a msg from Kaitlin that Steve was no longer with the company and she would be willing to help me. I called her, she wasted no time in "Trashing "Steve telling me why he was fired in great detail. ( It had been clear on my first visit Kaitlin did not like Steve, making him take phone calls while he was workingr with us, and she had no one with her, he asked her for help and altho she got up from her desk and came over she did not help him) Apparently he deleted the accounts he was currently working with before he left ! I apparently was one of those accounts. Kaitline indicated his designs were flawed and of all the customer complaints they had recieved on him. I asked her to look at my design to make sure there were no glaring errors and asked her to change out a couple lower cabinets. Alas, when she" moved over" Steve's design.. suddenly the window placement in the orginal drawing was off, which thru the whole top cabinet lay out off. She altered my design more than I realised as well as changing my upper corner cabinets out so I no longer had glass doors on them, ( which I had paid for) When I contacted her about this and she sent me an email telling me she would contact me for my credit card # and order a replacement cabinet to compensate for her error, and I would have to pay for the glass doors.. I returned the email advising I would pay for the cabinet and exchange the one that did not fit,. but I did not feel I should have to pay for the glass doors for my upper corner cabinets. She will now not take my calls,or return them and nor respond to my emails. Meanwhile I am left with an unfinished kitchen which is not making me happy. I will would never recommend the Manchester NH store.The customer service and the level of compenentcy of the designers is definately lacking.. read more

This firm is affiliated with Lumber Liquidators and you are going to be hearing a lot more about them in the future. We recently inherited a house built in 1954 that needed 57 years of building code updates and remodeling including a new kitchen. We were able to score the kitchen cabinets, a Shaker design in American cherry for a ridiculously low price. The cabinets are solid hardwood bevel cut doors, frames and drawer fronts with real veneer and flawless finish. Drawers are constructed with dovetail joints. Do not confuse these cabinets with the particle board crap at the big box home improvement places or the plastic at IKEA. This is not a surplus or overrun liquidator, rather these folks work with suppliers and order entire mill production runs to specifications. They buy in massive volume and pass along the savings. They have free full color catalogs with their current offerings for you to take home or just browse online. Here's the easy way to do it: Have your contractor take the measurements. Visit the store and see the quality of the workmanship. Give the specs to the friendly and experienced consultant. You will be presented with a computer image of the finished kitchen and a print out of all the cabinet units you'll need for the job. Take this to your contractor to double check. When you buy, you are given the option of pickup at their warehouse or they'll deliver to the job site for a small charge (we opted for delivery, the driver was on time and courteous to a fault). How do they get the price so low? The cost savings come in through volume and efficiency: the cabinets will arrive as pre-engineered units in kit form packed in a flat box. If you can use a screwdriver you can assemble these OR JUST HAVE YOUR CONTRACTOR DO IT, takes less than 30 minutes per unit to assemble.. All you'll need is a screwdriver, drill (a cordless drill/driver really speeds it up), an adjustable wrench (Crescent), a bubble level and a big smile when you realize how much money you just saved. Once your cabinets are assembled, they get bolted to the wall, add the drawer hardware (you buy separate) and the countertop (you buy separate). That's it. The best testimony came from my general contractor's cabinet man. He also owns his own mill shop and said that the quality levels of these cabinets he would charge between $7,000 and $8,000. When he found out that we paid around $3,000 for everything (over ten feet of upper AND lower cherry cabinets and trim pieces), he remarked "That's why my shop is going out business!" By the way, most of their product lines are priced quite a bit less than what we selected, but at their low prices we could afford to trade up on design and wood. MY REMODELING CONTRACTOR, WHO DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THEM, IS GOING TO BE BUYING FROM THEM IN THE FUTURE. Whether you want cherry as we did, or you'd rather have hickory, oak, or birch please do yourself a favor and check out these helpful people. This place is a find! Close to nearby Citadel shopping center and the Commerce Casino, they are right off I-5 at exit Garfield. Look for the adjacent Lumber Liquidators sign and pull into the rear parking lot. There are always a few issues afterwards drawer tracks missing, cabinet face damaged, received this instead of that, etc. After 2 months and dozens of phone calls, nothing is still been resolved. VERY low quality from China. The store manager hates his job and it was evident from the minute we met. Because we have a semi-local store, we opted to save the $150.00 shipping fee and pick it up at the store. We were never told that some of our items were on back order. We were given a pick up date of about 2 weeks. I did not find out about the back order until I called to make sure my items were in before heading to the store. Two weeks later, we were still waiting. I raised such a fuss that they took a cabinet from another order and gave it to me. Now someone else will be pissed. Cabinets were scratched and damaged. There is more but to sum it up...Never again!!! read more

My experience, to say the least, was well below what I expected. My initial contact was great. Lisa, my design consultant, did a very good job with taking my original design and "vision" and putting it into perspective. Her, input and recommendations were very helpful. She took the time to make sure that the look we wanted would work in the space we had available. I was very satisfied with her work as well as that of Danny, the manager. After placing my order, things began to unravel. I initially wanted to use CTG's subcontractor (Wooten and Sons) to do all the work, if possible, from demolition to kitchen completion. That way, I would be interacting with one contractor who is familiar with CTG products and also is qualified (licensed) to do the whole project. My first contact with the contractor should have been an omen for me. After waiting for about 2 hours, I finally had to call him to cancel and reschedule the initial appointment which was meant to verify the design measurements. On the day of the rescheduled appointment (he arrived an hour late!), he did what I consider a cursory verification. I also asked him for a quote to complete the entire project and discussed with him time frames including approximately when the cabinets would arrive, planned demolition, etc. He told me to call him when the cabinets arrive so we could arrange an installation date and that he would supply me with a quote in 2 days (it took 4 days and the quote was quite high). After receiving his quote, I promptly notified him that I was going with a local contractor - Wooten and Sons is based an hour and a half (on a good day) away from my home! To make a very long and painful story shorter, Mr Wooten never told me what his schedule was and led me to believe that after my cabinets arrived, he would be able to install them in a fairly timely manner (within a week or so). After the cabinets arrived (a whole different story), I attempted to contact Mr Wooten a number of times. While waiting for a call/text/email back, I had my kitchen demolished and prepared for cabinet installation (electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, priming, etc). ONCE I FINALLY HEARD FROM MR WOOTEN, HE TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BE A MONTH BEFORE HE COULD COME OUT AND INSTALL MY CABINETS!!! He could have easily told me what his schedule was on several different occasions! I could have waited to have my kitchen demolished! Once the installers finally began the cabinet installation process, they worked "bankers' hours" arriving around 10 or so in the morning and leaving around 3 or so in the afternoon. After 2 delays in order to order a couple of additional items and enduring more scheduling problems with the contractor, I decided enough was enough, cut my loses, and employed my local contractor, who was going to do all the other work, to finish the cabinet installation which included fixing things that were not done properly by Wooten and Sons - which I assume was caused by a workload that they were unable to keep up with. Although Lisa, my design consultant, and Danny, the manager, were very empathetic, it appears that I wasn't the only CTG customer having problems with their contractor, including the contractor's inability to communicate with CTG's customers who require cabinet installation. My frustration was so great that I cancelled the counter tops that I ordered through CTG as I didn't want endure any additional possible delays. Additionally, it has been my experience that the only way to truly voice your displeasure with a company is economically. Although it did cost me additional dollars, my hat's off to my local contractor (name available upon request) for rescuing/completing this project. Despite having other projects underway, he and his crew went above and beyond the call of duty to give us a great, finely finished kitchen. Although Lisa and Danny did a great job with the initial phase of my project, everything that transpired afterwards was a complete disaster - thus the 2 star rating. The cabinets look good. I'll reserve comment on the quality of the cabinets once we've had the opportunity to actually use them over a period of time. read more

It's been very frustrating working with Cabinets To Go. We bought 3 vanities and 2 pantries from them. This is from their custom line, not the ready made vanities. When a couple of the pieces came damaged we had to wait 120 days for the new pieces to arrive. This is because they keep changing their manufacturer to keep their cost low. Although I was assured that the replacement pantry doors would match the vanity, they don't. And now one of the soft close rails has stopped working and one of the drawer boxes doesn't sit flush against the vanity. We've been going back and forth for over 6 months and still no replacement parts or even an ETA! Ridiculous company. Oh, and before I ordered from Cabinets To Go I asked them about all their bad yelp reviews and they said they take care of their customers, blah, blah, blah. I can't imagine ordering a whole kitchen from this company. It would be a nightmare. read more

Went to the local store. Waco, Texas, AL the sales person was very nice and helpful UNTILL they received payment for all of our cabinets. We paid in full and was told that the cabinets would be in the next week. They were not in until the following week but that wasn't a big deal. We were told by AL that we needed to contact Danny, The local contractor that does the install and set up a time to get them installed. That was the only thing we were told. We contacted Danny, Who was amazing and got the install scheduled. Myself and my wife took off work to meet Danny for the install. We found out the morning of install that nobody from Cabinets to Go ever mentioned for us to schedule delivery of the order. We never was told anything about scheduling this. We prepaid for the delivery and everything was supposed to be set to go. Now after wasting a day off, AL from the store tells me that it was my responsibility to schedule the delivery. It would be very hard to schedule something that we knew nothing about. Al was very short and rude when I called him about this. It is very apparent that Cabinets to Go cares NOTHING about there customers after they receive the money. This has caused us to have to delay our move in by almost a week. We had to reschedule everything else to make room for the install. Very very disappointed and AL the salesman just blew me off. Buyer Beware, Just go to a cabinet shop and have them made. First, when dealing with cabinet stores, unless they have them in stock, ordering them is going to be heartache regardless of the vendor. Home Depot, Lowe's, the online stores, they all are alike in this respect. In addition, China made cabinets are available not only from Cabinets To Go, but many retailers, CliqStudio etc. If you check the blogs about any cabinet store you will find horror stories about long lead times, products arriving broken, and so on. Bottom line, if you go by what is posted on the internet there are NO cabinet stores that deliver the goods on time and as described. You take a chance anytime you have to order any cabinets from any store. And having them made in a cabinet shop can be not only expensive, but aggro when dealing with the flaky contractors out there. Remember, you have to consider that most satisfied customers do not post and that most blogs are people with a beef. I decided to go with Cabinets To Go based on two things, price and availability. They had all items minus one part in stock, and the price for an all wood (no MDO or particle board) cabinet was very good. They are KD - knocked down cabinets so you will have to assemble them. In comparison, IKEA cabinets are junk, all particle board, and you have to pay premium pricing for an all wood cabinet at Lowe's or Home Depot. I bought these at the Los Angeles store, not much of a store, but who cares, a fancy showroom rarely guarantees good results. The staff seemed to be somewhat indifferent at first, but they finally took my dimensions, worked out the material list, and they were true to their word at the end. My experience. The delivery was botched due to faulty communication, but they were delivered two days later and the store waived the delivery charge so I was quite satisfied. The cabinets were quite easy to assemble - I used Titebond glue in all the joints for added strength, I highly recommend you do the same.. The bottom edge of one cabinet was damaged but since it was not visible after installation I let it go. The completed job looks fantastic, the quality of the cabinets is better than most, and I am very happy with the results. The only negative I can see is that the inside shelves could have been wider. I cannot say I would have the same opinion had I ordered cabinets from this store. However, it seems that ordering is chancy from any store, it's the nature of the seller being at the mercy of the supply chain. In summary, I like the cabinets, the quality is good and the price was outstanding, over $4000 less than Lowe's. read more

The reason I went to this business (I use the term loosely) is because they had cabinets "in stock" and I was on a time line with my contractor. All I ordered was a vanity for the bathroom. It was supposed to come into the showroom within a week. I tried calling and calling and calling but the store NEVER picked up the phone. I was redirected to the nation customer "care" (I also use the term loosely) department. They tried reaching the store as well, to no avail. FINALLY, just before closing, someone called and said my cabinet was in. Good thing they are open on Saturdays as I went to pick it up the next day. My contractor put it together within 2 days and OMG - there was a piece missing. In fact, Cabinets to Go KNEW this piece was on back order but neglected to tell us. After many phone calls to the national number (the store rarely picks up the phone) I was told that the missing piece would be on the truck the following Friday (now 2 weeks after ordering the "in stock" vanity). I called several times during the week to make sure that the piece would indeed be on the truck for the next delivery. The national number told me they had no idea and that I need to talk to the store. I explained that generally only one person is in the store and when a customer walks in, the phones are not answered, virtually making them closed for anyone who phones. After many frustrating calls, I finally spoke to a sales associate. He assured me that my piece would be delivered but he was going to "double check" and call me back that day. Did he call you? That is how he called me. So delivery day came and I phoned the store yet again to make sure I could come and retrieve my piece. They were just checking in the pieces and would call me back shortly to let me know. Needless to say, I NEVER received a call. Fast forward to Saturday... I called and OMG - the piece did NOT arrive. There were 200 pieces in the warehouse but they had ALL come in damaged!!! (the prices are not THAT cheap that this should happen). So now the apologetic sales person said it would come in NEXT week. I explained that my contractor would be gone by then and that the floor could not be installed until the cabinet had been completed. She said she was sorry. What good does that do me, I asked. Just then a customer came into the show room so she had to quickly put me off and tend to the warm body in front of her. She promised to see if there was a larger piece that could be cut that she could send me. I asked her when I would hear back from her. She sputtered that she would TRY to get back to me that day before closing. Here I now sit, foaming at the mouth waiting and waiting for these so called business people to do what they promised. I am frustrated beyond belief. Please beware of doing business with this place unless you have endless amounts of time and patience. read more

We just bought a bathroom vanity here for our kid's bathroom remodel and it was half the price of every other similar vanity we looked at. The granite has beautiful edging which was a major selling point for me. The hardware is substantial, the wood is hardwood and veneer and it is well made! It even has design elements on the side are normally featured on only the most expensive models! We had an issue with some screws that were torqued too tightly and showed through a few drawers and they let me come replace back for replacements the next day!! Adrian and everyone there was incredibly helpful and kept us informed throughout the order and arrival process. It took less than a week to get the vanity we ordered and we were impressed by not only the quality of the cabinet but the customer service. I only wish there was an option to mix and match different cabinets with the variety of stone tops and I'd buy another for our bathroom... but I'm sure the fact that they come pre-assembled is part of the reason the price is so low. Looks like their business model has changed since the previous reviews...these are fully assembled vanities ready for pickup or delivery. Went with a friend to select and purchase cabinets for a kitchen remodel. This is one of many times that I've visited this location. I have also purchased my current kitchen cabinets from this location (pleased might I add). This review is in contrast to the others that expressed poor customer service. I had my two kids ( 1 and 3 years old) and the one sales attendant available for understanding to my need to move certain furniture around to make it comfortable and safe for the kiddos. Also, my friend's transaction went well past closing and the attendant made no quarrels about being off or the store being closed; not even when her ride was there to pick her up. Stop calling it "To Go", that implies that the cabinets are available. If you are excited about your cabinet project, go shop somewhere else. It took nine weeks for four cabinets to arrive. Please understand these are not custom size cabinets. The are standard off the shelf sizes. So why are these cabinets not readily available. I gave it two stars because they are the lowest price around. Get ready for a long wait and hope that they are not damaged..large restocking fee and long wait time to get you the next set of cabinets. Never again for me. read more

I shoped around for over a year and decided to go back to Cabinets to Go because of the service and price. Lisa has the patience of God and was very helpful with my needs. I had a huge issue with a washer and dryer in my kitchen and didn't want to move them out of the kitchen. Their installation representatives (Robert and James) were the only ones who knew how to resolve the problem. Ordered my cabinets today and am looking forward to getting them installed. On time Delivery = Never, you will get some with in 4 weeks other with another 2 or 3 weeks and other with 2 or 3 weeks! Customer service = Very poor, you will never get the store through the phone, you will get customer service, they will promise you to live a message to the store so that the store can call you back BUT they will NOT, I have been trying 7 times, the store never call me back. Here is the second offer they will give, they will transfer you to the corporate office, they are the same only promise, no one will care one you pay the money. Scam = They told me to pay the full amount so that I will get the cabinets on time, haha I did, but I am still waiting my cabinet, 6 weeks!! I do not know how long it will take to get them all. Purchased my cabinets from Commerce, Ca Cabinets To Go late last year. Just now got around to getting them installed and the quality definitely matched the service we received. My wife and I are very satisfied with them and can't wait to show our friends. Adrian did a great job with the design. He was with us every step of the way and answered all our questions. So I have to admit, when I pulled into the parking lot and saw the small shop, I I didn't have high hopes. However, as my boyfriend and I started looking at the selections, everything started coming together quite nicely. Even though the selection seems limited, there are so many different possibilities. It's nice to see how you can take pieces of countertop and flooring and put them next to cabinets to see the color palette... Just see how everything ties in together. My boyfriend is a contractor and had all of his drawings and dimensions and everything written down. Danny, the salesperson there, followed his explanations and instructions point-by-point. Danny totally understood what my boyfriend was saying. Danny does seem like a professional and knows what he is selling. He seems very knowledgeable and I would feel confident placing an order with him. He covered all the bases. I was thoroughly impressed by Danny's customer service and knowledge of the products. He was so extremely helpful. And even though there are limited products in that store, there are so many possibilities to put a kitchen together. I would totally go there if I were redoing my kitchen. My boyfriend went there to get cabinets for his house and a clients. And the nice thing is is that they give discounts when you have higher amount orders. I kind of want to add my cabinets, floorng and countertops into the order!
