Very welcoming arena. I appreciated the layout, design. Enjoyed the opportunity to play on spectator, 5000 seater. Nice restaurant, bar upstairs.

This here is a Professional Sports area for Brampton and the home of local hockey team Brampton Beasts. The venue is not bad and good for local events but I think its under utilised and could be used for many other thinks and make more people come to Brampton. There is plenty of parking; you enter from one side and leave from the other, so it could be tricky at times. If you want a reasonable and fun outing, check out a Beast game on the location.

Three "everyday" pad and one "pro" pad good for may 3000-3500 spectators. The home of OHL Brampton Batalion and JrB Brampton Bombers. Also: - Summer leagues - Camps - Clinics - Local leagues - "Beer" leagues - etc, etc, etc. The ice is hardly ever vacant. There's a small cath downstairs and a restaurant upstairs. The schedule for both is somewhat unpredictable. Sometimes you can catch a big concert here too. Outside: - several baseball diamonds (at least four or five) - a coule of road hockey boxes (if it's warm and not reaining and it's a weekend, those are never vacant). Getting there is a bit of a pain because there is no highway ramp on Kennedy. You need to get there by either using Steeles or Derry and then used Kenndy Rd to get to the arena. Beware of the regular speed trap if you are approaching the rink from the North (Steeles).

Brampton Beasts Hockey game was incredible. Bramptonians are really into the game, lots of loud screams of encouragement for our home team. Tonights game was star wars themed, my son loved saying hi to the starwars stormtroopers. All the staff were really friendly, the beer was cold and the popcorn was warm. Overall a really enjoyable family outing. I definitely recommend taking your kids to watch the brampton beasts.

SO EFFING FAR FROM TORONTO! I trekked nearly 2 hours in snow over maybe 3 diff transportation authorities (TO's, Brampton's, some others...) Poutine there SUCKED! No, I take that back More like: 1st bite: um, good? 2nd bite: hm... kinda good. 3rd bite: mm, this is GOOD! 4th bite: hm. kinda salty. 5th bite: meh. this sucks. *throws in trash* Got me a churro con dulce de leche from one of the latin vendors selling empanadas, arroz, etc. Wait a sec... this is CANADA. Wtf is going... Oh. One of the biggest bachateros in the world are playing in an hour. Almost forgot. Was sooo close to sneaking backstage. Would've if I didn't want to be deported before I got to make out with my Romeo. Sooo nassty ;) Instead, snuck from nearly the worst seats available to the BEST (1st section, 5th row, stage left!!) at the insistence of this awesome Seating lady. Afterall, was there anyone else out of the thousands who traveled over 11 hours to see Aventura?? Didn't think so. Took amazing photos (check my profile and the ones here), got a drumstick at shows end, told Henry that I came 12 hrs to see them, and that "quiro un beso para mi cupleanos!"--I want a birthday kiss, and he blew me one, to which I yelled, "No! Para (from) Romeo!" Romeo = sexy lead singer who ALWAYS brings girls up on stage to kiss...except *that* show. :( :( :( Wasn't sure how to get back so late so good thing I made friends there who drove me back to my doorstep in Toronto...and for free! (that's a $70 cab ride btw) Thanks Powerade for having Aventura during my trip! I wouldn't have seen them otherwise as it was the day before the very last show date! I hear Daddy Yankee is next?! :D

Food (naturally expensive) and merch was pretty easy get and find. Downside is the water fountains. I feel like there won't many (at least ones with water bottle refill stations).

The arena itself is right in the heart of downtown, so the whole area around it already feels super alive before you even walk in. There's people everywhere, jerseys, food spots nearby, and just that pre-game energy that makes it so fun. Inside, it was packed but in a good way, like full energy, loud, exciting, everyone already hyped before tip-off. I had seats in the 300 level and honestly I don't even think that's a bad thing at all. The view from up there is actually really solid, you can see the whole court properly and the energy from the crowd feels even more spread out and intense. Service-wise, everything was pretty organized. It was busy, so lines and movement around the concourse can get a bit crowded at times, but nothing unexpected for a Raptors game night. Once you're settled in your seat though, it's smooth and you can just focus on the game. Overall, I'd 100% recommend going at least once if you're in Toronto. It's not just about basketball, it's the full experience: the crowd, the energy, the location, and just being part of that atmosphere. Even from the 300s, it still feels like a really good seat. Definitely one of those experiences that's way more fun in person than on TV.

I couldn't enjoy my visit as much this time unfortunately as I was not properly dressed for it and hence managed to spend only 30 minutes, however, I still enjoyed their new Arabian nights theme. They've added a beach bonanza which is great for kids. Would love to come back and explore properly. Dress warm! Incredible display of lights and a fun night out! I've been wanting to check out Illumi for a while & would always see the huge tree from afar whenever I drive by. I have been to a few holiday events in the past to see lights but illumi was an event completely magical and different from the other holdiay events I've been to. I gotta say it's probably even the best one. There are different displays, from an European escape (where you can ride the merry go round) to a section with animals, penguins and igloos. I couldn't say which is my favourite as they're all very good. It is kid-friendly as well and there are multiple photo ops opportunities and spots around you can stop for pics. Dress warm. You can also take a break inside where there's lots of seating space and some food options, as well as some merch for sale. The bubble tea (both hot/cold) were really good and the churros were also tasty. I'm not usually a fan of pretzels but I found the ones there tasty as well. Lots of parking space. Organized and many staff around to assist. Bring your cameras/phones with a full charge, a big and warm jacket to enjoy the experience. Give yourself at least 75 minutes or more. Strongly recommend booking online in advance as well for tickets.

I had walked briefly around the midway and then needed to read an e-mail on where to meet up for a Yelp elite event. Yep, I didn't read it until I actually got to the venue. Oops! There are places to sit outside the arena. There were two older folks already out there, enjoying the day. Instead, I decided to check out the arena for a brief period. There are a number of steps to walk up to the front entrance. I didn't notice what the accessibility situation was. I believe that it was off to my left. The doors open when you approach them. I love that this arena has plenty of places to sit down, even when you aren't actually in it yet! I sat between the two sets of doors at the front. I walked in and there was yet another area with comfy chairs to sit down. The latter is better on a hot summer day, as the air conditioning is effective there. The rotary volunteers made their headquarters in the arena. Unfortunately, I couldn't see what was behind them. I did get to briefly check out the upstairs. This arena gives you the impression that it's new. It's gorgeous and bright. You know what? It has been there for over fifty years. Who knew?! There is a snack bar. It's a well-designed arena for hockey and more. I would love to come back to an event that is held in this arena. It appears to be a flexible, multifunctional place for various events besides hockey games in the winter. I appreciated that I could sit there and carefully read my e-mail. I figured out that I needed to be on the opposite side of the park by the lighthouse. I loved the inspirational message that you see when you walk into the area. Be nice. You should, regardless of whether your a kid or an older grownup. Good advice! (261)
