The white wine garlic butter gave them an amazing taste that left me wanting more, and they were only $11 for Happy Hour instead of the regular $15. We also ordered the crab dip for $11, normally priced at $15. I loved the dip itself, but the Old Bay toast wasn't my favorite. I enjoy Old Bay, but it didn't feel necessary here. Not spectacular but a solid presentation. And finally, the boiled shrimp with old bay. Burning our fingers in our eagerness to peel and eat these babies, we got our fill for $10. Their cocktail sauce had an excellent texture, better than just ketchup and horseradish like some bars. Anyway, nice job and very economical! She made a few mistakes but fixed then and apoligized and fix everything. The waiter on the other hand was not engaging first day he took our order and never interacted with him until we had to ask for more drinks and then he slapped the check on our table. We are int he process of calling as we were charged for our breakfast because he must have not put us in as part of our package. 2nd interaction was better and brought more drinks before we had to ask. The rich short rib pot pie was excellent, and we loved the baked oysters with aged cheddar, honey chipotle, and fresh chimichurri. Our favorite was the Kung Pao calamari, which had a great sweet Asian heat that made it a fun spin on the classic. We also ordered a round of cocktails, with the bourbon and whiskey based drinks being the favorites. The Wild Fashioned was especially good. Another great perk is that dining guests receive 10 percent off purchases from the attached liquor store. We happily took advantage and stocked up on Willett bourbon and Clase Azul tequila for the rest of the beach weekend. With a perfect score of 25/25, I'm giving Harborside an A+. We'll be back in the summer of 2027.
