The owner is purchasing and upselling (up to triple the price from the department store). The owner does sprinkle some antiques around the store but the items are overpriced. It's also kind of weird that the owner has a huge photograph of herself behind the cashier counter. Not a fan of this store when there are plenty of other stores worth shopping at walking distance.

I got about a third of the way into the store, admiring the wide array of vintage food craft tools - when I came upon the prominent display of the T-shirt "Try that in a small town". Knowing that this is a racist T-shirt advocating the lynching of African-Americans I realized that it was an intentional statement to black and brown people so I immediately left the store and wrote this second review. The first review was removed by Yelp because I gave it five stars. That's why I adjusted it to one star. Presently no one should patronize the store if they have a conscience and are wanting to make the world a better place.

My aunt and I went to Hobby Lobby to obtain decorations for an "Elevated fall" vibe in our living room/ dining room area back at home. Boy oh boy do I love me some Hobby Lobby! I feel like the selection at this Riverside location was better than Rancho Cucamonga location. We purchased garlands, candle holders, table runners, ribbons, and small knick knacks to tie our whole look together. We are SO satisfied! We will definitely coming back for Christmas. The owners of this cozy holiday gift shop are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more fun. Knowing that they host events throughout the year is definitely a plus -- it makes the shop feel like a place you want to come back to over and over again. The holiday Jellycat release was honestly such a cute experience. We waited about an hour before opening, and they greeted everyone with apple cider and snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch.
