    AliExpress Sanrio toys...
    Maya N.

Every once in a while when I'm in the area, I stop by here to check out the selection. I feel like a few years ago it was a lot better. It used to be cute and kitschy, with some real oddities and unique pieces for sale at decent prices. Today, what I saw was just tragic. It's largely fast fashion branded clothing without the fast fashion prices, anime merchandise for the weebiest of weebs, mass produced trinkets/toys I recognized from the AliExpress catalogue, and some actually vintage items being sold at a price anyone familiar with the brands would never actually pay. With the amount of eyebrow-raisers that I saw, I didn't feel confident that items from other vendors that I'm not as familiar with like porcelain figures, glassware, jewelry, and paintings were actually genuine antiques or being sold at fair prices. I noticed a lot of young'uns browsing the store who seemed to be having a pretty good time, so maybe I'm just old and it's not for my demographic. In my mind though, this isn't what should be sold at an antique store. I would love to see whoever's in charge be choosier with their vendors.

Love this antique mall, which is right across the street from the mission inn. I go there every year in Nov/Dec to buy antique Xmas decorations, childhood core memories unlocked! Space 88 is my fav dealer for all things retro, got myself a krampus last year and love their steinbach!

An iconic space in the heart of downtown. The mother-load for all things vintage. Even if you're not looking for a specific item it's a fun place to explore all three levels. Records, clothing, jewelry, books, vintage toys and memorabilia. Lots of nicknacks and thingamabobs around every inch of space. Tight turns with little nooks and cranny's of things you'd find in your closet when you were eight years old. Creaking floors, old library scent, giant chairs and yes Christmas decorations. If you're a collector you may be fan kicking your way through. Service is helpful and kind. Know your prices and you may strike gold. It's attached to Molinos coffee shop. You can walk right through the back entrance and take in the downtown ambiance while enjoying a cup of joyful Joe! :D

The not-so-secret-secret bar within. It looked fun!

What can I say? There was most definitely not enough time to see all the things, BUT I came away with some goodies! This is FOUR VERY FULL FLOORS of everything you can possibly imagine...things you want, things you need, things you didn't know you need, and things to remind you of times past! Talk about a walk down memory lane! Definitely, there is a tremendous variety of "stuff and things" ranging from heirloom blankets, jewelry (fine and costume), clothing, sports and other memorabilia (who remembers kewpie dolls? - anyone? or vintage Christmas ornaments that come in the cardboard box? ), designer purses, and houseware items. Areas are "coded" to indicate who the vendor is, as it appears items are for sale on consignment with proceeds going to the donor of the item(s). This aspect is what I believe makes the checkout process take a bit of time -- so be patient when you're ready for purchase as the cashiers manually enter the information on the tags in order to give folks their due. I was able to see most of two floors and skim the others. I left with some fun finds: a Maryland "You are Here" series Starbucks mug (I really did visit!), two bracelets for my daughter - not thrifted, and some horror kitsch for my son. All happy campers. This place is definitely worth the trip from the SGV. Come prepared to oogle everything and maybe spend some coin!

I've been shopping here for years and always loved it, but I don't think I'll be back the past two times I've been in (within the last two months) there have been extremely offensive items for sale. Last week they had Nazi memorabilia & racist dolls prominently displayed near the check out counter. Selling offensive items may be good for revenue but it creates a market for it and I personally think that's wrong. The originals I could maybe understand for historical value I guess but the reproductions!? Gross. To each their own I guess, but I will take my money elsewhere.

Something for everybody, something for all ages. A must place to visit, browse, perhaps buy something for friends, a family member or yourself. Largest concentration of antiques and curios I have seen. We spent a good 1.5 hours of looking and exploring the Galleria. Inexpensive jewelry, vinly records, clothes, books, antique furniture, etc, etc. Check out my photos to add more flavor to my review. A very intriguing place.

Small pack ended up being filled with fake cards and was about 30 bucks.

I was a little skeptical in the cards i bought. Booster pack was real but the other pack for nearly 30 bucks every thing ended up being fake. Wouldn't trust most of the card collectibles. But it is a nice vibe and has some other interesting stuff. Service was also good.

Please do not shop here if you have a sense for what is ethical! I was in awe of this store until I wasn't because they are selling a GIANT swastika flag in their downstairs area!!! And they also sell a bunch of Black face memorabilia!!! Smh. I was about to buy a bunch of things but then was stopped right in my tracks and set them all down when I saw that. The owners need a heart check. It didn't feel right at all!! While I did find a bunch of cute things, it didn't feel right in my spirit to spend one dime there. I would not recommend anyone to shop here because of this.

Made the 2 hour drive here from Long Beach. On Apple Maps it says open til 9pm every day. Got here just to find out it closes at 5:30pm on Tuesdays.

Four stories of antiques and collectibles. OMG! So much stuff. Unbelievable. It's like people just emptied out their entire houses and it's now all being sold in one place. You really have to see it to believe it. The fourth floor holds most of the large furniture and kitchen glassware, as organized as you can get with so much stuff. There's also a huge vintage clothing store, which is a store within a store.

If you ever wondered what happens to all of the things that people discard, this is where they end up. There is truly so much stuff within the walls of this business that it is almost hard to describe. As someone like myself, who enjoys going to antique stores and flea markets, even I find this business to be a bit overwhelming. They have so much stuff! There's multiple floors to this business. Each floor offers a plethora of items to view, look at, study, and perhaps even buy. If you're looking for that truly unique item, you will definitely find it here. Whether you're looking for yourself, or for a gift, this business is truly unparalleled. The individual spaces that make up Mission Galleria are each stocked by individual sellers. From this, you get a vast selection of all kinds of varying items, including: art pieces, clothing, jewelry, music, electronics, you name it, this store truly offers a little bit of everything. So, if you're looking for the truly unique item or just to walk around and stare at the vastness of the possessions that people choose to own, this is the business for you.

The atmosphere here is far different from all the stores I've been to in the area. Although small, it's packed and wonderfully staged into small sections which makes it easier to envision items in your space; which is something most stores don't take time to do. Clothing is limited, but carefully curated and organized into sweaters, outwear, pants, and even plus sizes (which I haven't seen in other stores). COME HERE IF ... you're looking for furniture and unique Knick knacks and accessories for your home. There's a lot of it and this is the first store where I wanted to purchased everything I practically laid my eyes on. DOWNSIDE ... I laid my eyes on a table set I wanted to purchase for my soon to be first apartment, however, I decided to walk through the whole store first before coming back to purchase it. IT WAS SOLD by the time I walked back towards the front of the store. LESSON LEARNED HERE IS if you want something buy it right then and there because you quite frankly, YOU WILL NOT FORGET IT (a fitting name for the store) AND BE SAD YOU DIDN'T GET IT. There was also another girl who purchased the exact mini lamp I wanted on my way out as I was contemplating what I wanted to purchase. If you want something here just buy it because chances are it won't be there if you come back again. Ultimately, I will be back and feel like I found a gem with this location and everything is reasonable priced.

It's also kind of weird that the owner has a huge photograph of herself behind the cashier counter. Not a fan of this store when there are plenty of other stores worth shopping at walking distance.

Knowing that this is a racist T-shirt advocating the lynching of African-Americans I realized that it was an intentional statement to black and brown people so I immediately left the store and wrote this second review. Upon first walking in, the shop has a cute, boutique-feel to it and is stocked with adorable vintage items, accessories, clothing, housewares, etc. I found just the cutest dresses, and there was a style available from nearly every era! You won't find prices similar to those of the dirt cheap thrift stores (where their clothing stock is based solely on donations); you'll find that this is indeed more a "vintage shop," and not necessarily a "thrift shop". But for the excellent quality of the clothing pieces, the prices are REASONABLE. You're definitely paying for quality because the dresses and trousers available are in wonderful condition. The owner is such a sweet and patient woman, and is eager to help you search for anything in particular. The bathroom doubles as the dressing room, so you do have the option to try on the clothing.
