They repaired my niece's rockers with silicone and electrical tape. She could have been killed. They charged her $500.00 for this negligent work. Top notch repair place. I have been using this place since I moved to Chelmsford (found it based on other people's Yelp! reviews) and have always left pleased and spent less than I was expecting. Brought my car in and left overnight for them to fix the trunk that was not working. I agreed to pay diagnosis AND repair for $200. Next day, they told me it will cost another $150 for the part + more for labor (on top of the already $200). As you may guess I was furious. $200 + $150 + labor for a plastic trunk latch? That is ridiculous. I told them I would fix the problem myself since I do not want to buy tiny piece of plastic for $150. They then tried to charge the full $200 for diagnosis. I retaliated, stating "it should not cost $200 for them to figure out the car was missing a plastic latch and while nothing has been repaired." They explained that their rate is $80/hour. So they were awesome enough to discount the price to $160, (since it took them 2 hours to find the problem.) I laughed inside, and paid the amount. I then went home, googled the piece, bought it online for $7.95 + shipping. One week later I slapped the plastic latch on and took a nap. read more

Not honest or trustable place! I went to this place for a snow tire balancing and mouting (with tires already on rim) because of all the good reviews on yelp. The guy overphone told me it was $60 for all tires, which was a reasonable price. So I agreed and made an appointment. But the next day when I got there, the lady told me it was $100! No matter what I say to her, she just won't back down with the price. I feel being cheated since the dealer only quoted me $70. I did it anyway since I was in a hurry as the snow was coming. When the work was done, they didn't even give me a receipt proving the service. I'll never ever go to this place again. read more

Went in today for a oil change let them know I was going on a road trip and I felt my brakes maybe going and I was also concerned about the front tires John looked over my whole car even took the tires off to check my brakes pads for me . He easily could have scammed me because I was willing to install new ones instead let me know everything looked great which was a big relief since it would have cut into our budget drastically. My front tires did need to be replaced but he got me such a great deal and my car was in and out quickly. I left feeling relieved and assured my car would be reliable for my road trip and best of all my budget was still intact. I always seem to have a problem with the little Asian lady in the front, first off you can barely understand her always trying to up sell me on parts and services for my car why I always ask for John when I need anything done! She tries to perform jobs on my car and look at it when she is NOT a license mechanic!! Not to be trust!! I sent my mom here just yesterday and she tried to charge her for services my mom didn't ask for and which I had already arranged and called ahead for!! I had to take time out of my day to go back and actually demand my mothers money back because my mom didn't understand what she was being charged for anyways. This place is corrupt and sexist. Do not go here for an inspection or anything else. I took my car in to get an inspection and they failed it. I had a bad tire and got it fixed (I went somewhere else to do that since I thought they were price gouging me). I had my boyfriend being the car back and they tried to fail my car on windshield wipers I bought LAST WEEK. Seriously? They were just mad that we didn't buy their overpriced tires. After considerable arguing, he said he was going to call the police, and then they were very quick to give him the pass sticker, which should not have been a problem in the first place. Not ok. Had my oil changed today. Excellent service, helpful and friendly staff, reasonably price too. They're knowledgeable on what your car needs and they make suggestions about what should be done to your car, but they don't force any services on you (which is awesome for those of us who aren't car experts). This is by far the best mechanics I have ever dealt with. I love it how they always exceed my expectations in how much lower the repair costs are and how fast they fix the issue. I had an oil leak and they fixed it right away for just $10. Any other mechanic would for sure have run the tap up somehow. I came here to get my NEW car inspected, got it from the dealership the DAY BEFORE with NO damages, pretty brand new 2015 all white... when it came back out from being inspected my driver side had a DENT & left fender had BLACK SCRATCHES the American boy who pulled my car in, must've hit something NOT BEING CAREFUL!!!! I swear when my car was in the process I heard a loud THUMP... I immediately yelled "there's a dent on my door!" The owners wife was like "no no that's old" I said no it is not I got this car yesterday from a dealership not even 24 hours wouldn't you think I'll get more $ off of this car if those damages were there?! Ripoff artists. My wife and I both took our cars there for inspection. Mine passed, but mysteriously, my tire (which had been fine) suddenly had a nail in it and was deflating. They offered to put on a new one (of course). My wife's car was rejected for the back window being slightly tinted. Her car has had the SAME back window for 5 years here in MA, and has never been rejected before. And again, they "offered" to replace it. They will create or dig for a problem to charge you more. It is easy enough to find another place to get an inspection, and I would recommend doing so. read more

A friend of mine referred me to CP&T years ago and before moving to New Hampshire, it was the only place I would ever bring my car to. The guys there are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely honest for a change. It used to be a running joke growing up that I had the worst luck with cars - when I first went to CP&T years ago, I had brought my car to two other places for an estimate on some sort of valve that needed to be replaced (one place in Nashua and another in Tewksbury I believe) - these guys went above and beyond to get to the root of the problem which was something "associated" (it's been a while) to the valve and not the valve itself (saving me $$$ big time!).. I guess it was some kind of part or unit that you didn't have to replace entirely but instead just one component of it - the other part was 100% fine. The other guys were pretty much trying to make a buck off of me. He didn't bad-mouth the other places at all and didn't even imply that was what they were trying to do (even though it was obvious to me after researching online it was a common thing some mechanics do)... Instead, he was just very thorough in explaining to me what was actually going on with it and my options. I'm not very good with cars at all and they brought me in to show me and explain it to me in a way that made sense (even drawing a diagram for me on a notepad haha). In the office, he even took the time to call three different part vendors to find the part that wasn't just available but also reasonably priced. It was just really cool that he kept me involved in the process, didn't try to rush me in any way, and was really overall "into" what he was doing - it's a breath of fresh air finding people that are passionate about what they do. I felt like I was in really good hands here. The friends I have referred to them now even rave about them. I really highly recommend these guys! read more

I'm Theo, my car was running very rough. I dropped it off for repairs. The only vehicle I have for home and work. Joe allows me to have his vehicle, while mine is being repaired. One full day later, my car was fixed and back to normal. The service and parts fees were pretty low, I ended up giving him extra for not charging me enough. Joe is very friendly, honest and I'm surprised to have him told me that he bought spark plugs for my car from the dealer, but only billed me at an after market part prices. GREAT EXPERIENCE.
