Garret came in slightly under the others - and actually was able to do a little more within my budget than the other options! We also love that when he came out, he actually had sample grasses for us to pick from on the spot and a booklet of all the paver options, so it was easy to visualize the end result. He also gave me a much better warranty on the work he did than anyone else. The team worked fast and efficiently. And once they started, they finished within a week. And when it was done, they let me keep the excess materials, in case we ever need repairs down the line. Highly recommend!

Working with Joseph was seamless--he was extremely organized and communicative throughout the whole process. He's the whole reason we chose Regal instead of the other quotes we got and he really came through on everything we wanted while also giving us his valuable opinion. It was a decent-sized scope: we pulled out a row of old overgrown bougainvillea (stumps, roots and all), demolished a concrete slab by the garage, added a new flagstone pathway and patio, decomposed granite replaced an entire lawn, mulch and decorative pebble in the front yard, a long podocarpus privacy hedge, full drip irrigation conversion with smart timers, and landscape lighting in the front and back. They even installed our new fire pit for us. Joseph walked the property with us, gave real opinions about what would and wouldn't work instead of just saying yes to everything, and stayed reachable by text the whole way through. His invoice was also the most detailed quote we got, which gave us a lot of confidence that the details would be handled when we got through When we changed our minds on a couple of details mid-project, he handled it easily. The crew was punctual, careful around the existing trees and hardscape, and swept up at the end of every day. Fair price, clean work, and genuinely good people to deal with. We'd hire Joseph and Regal again without hesitation. They also finished well ahead of schedule which let us enjoy the yard for enough time before some upcoming travel plans.

The situation was disappointing and frustrating to say the least, so I took matters into my own hands and called LA Concrete Works to see if they can fix the job for me. After reviewing the job and settling on a final start date, I could already see that this team was exceptional at what they do. Joe was communicative, ready to answer any question, and very lovely to work with - he is very detailed and came to visit the site often despite their busy schedule. Sydney at the main office was so understanding and a rockstar at keeping me up to date on the plan of action. Luis, Jose, and the install team were courteous, neat, and most of all extremely competent - they know what they are doing and they do it really well. Project manager Josef was excellent in bringing in his partners (designers, foreman, etc.) to ensure from the design to finish we were collaborating and satisfied with the end result. For the garage, we had it drywalled (no insulation), installation of a attic ladder (bought from Home Depot) to make use of a pre-built storage area, updated garage door and exterior lighting. Front yard included adding extra pavement to be able to park two cars on the driveway (we have the pre WW II one car driveway) but looks like a part of the front yard design, installation of artificial grass (YAY), redo of the front porch to include redoing the porch ceiling with a bare wood look, and installation of a pathway to the front steps. We had 3 home improvement projects in the last couple of years (including this project) and WTG Builders was the best in terms of responsiveness, communication, and setting expectations. Perhaps I'm more wiser too about projects but I appreciated Project Manager Josef's communication and updates and the various trade teams were fantastic. I also took into consideration their work in the local Long Beach/Lakewood area which I think is important. I would use them again and recommend them for similar projects!
