Ended up in the wrong place, so decided to go after venturing into Manhattan for shopping. Came back from Manhattan and I had a few bags with me from shopping (had an Osprey trail bookbag, Nintendo NYC Store bag, and a random other bag). I must have been tired, but it felt like security was really aggressive getting in front of me and asking me what I was looking for specifically. Showed him my phone with store pickup and ID and he directed me to the long checkout line. It felt like I was being profiled by security. I get it, there's a lot of theft in NYC, but it was really off putting since I was going to browse first. Though, security let other people with bags in without even questioning them. Luckily, there was someone asking for people with store pickup and I was the only one with store pickup. However, I've never experienced someone who couldn't scan my barcode, then typed in the order number manually, but that didn't work either and asked for my phone number. At this point, between security and store pickup, I definitely didn't want to browse. I'll wait until I get back to the Denver metro area for friendlier Best Buys. The kicker was the security people were saying friendly goodbyes to everyone else except me, so I told them I'd write a review.

In any case yellow pages advertises the charge of $150 per hour, and that does include the commute of the technician to the site. Yesterday I purchase 4 visa gift cards and the only the odd thing that was said to me was that the gift cards aren't on display because customers mess with them--that's an important detail. Today, I went back to purchased an additional 4 gift cards from the same cashier (Jasmine). She initially claimed I can only purchase 3. When I pointed out that I purchased 4 the day before; she claimed she was scolded by a manager and that the register doesn't allow more than 3. I offered to make 2 separate transaction and even offered 2 separate payment sources, if that worked better. She was obviously lying as she "forgot" the name of the manager who scolded her and the register did allow 4 gift cards to be purchased exactly as it did the day before. Long story short, I spoke to store manger and he confirmed what my experience should have been in just making a simple purchase without the extra ego tripping by Jasmine. And that detail, she claimed about the gift card display was clarified by the manager as being place outside of customers purview to reduce the cluttered look of the customer service area. The managers explanation makes more sense since it literally sat behind the counter previously, where customers can't mess with them anyway. Addendum: it was actually 6 gift cards that I purchased the day before not 4.
