Really loud though, so you'll need to project your voice across the table lol. Our server was really friendly and explained all the menu items well. For apps we got the grilled oysters & lobster bites. Both were delicious and flavorful - wish the portions were larger haha. I usually don't like oysters but these were really good. I ended up getting the grouper grilled with lobster risotto & truffle fries. My husband got the scallops with lobster risotto and brussel sprouts (we shared). The risotto was the winner! It had a great texture, flavor, and chunks of lobster in it. The fish was nicely grilled. Wished the scallops were larger. Server said it would be about 5-8 scallops and we got 4...in addition they gave us the wrong sauce (he ordered cajun and got lemon). The kitchen also messed up my order as well with forgetting the truffle fries & giving me a large portion of risotto instead. They did bring it to me after I asked. Server was really busy and tended forget the things we asked for. He forgot our friend's drink a few times. Since it was busy, it was hard to get his attention right away. We did have to wait a long time for our food - first for the apps then between the apps and dinner, about 40 minutes. For dessert we had the creme brulee & peach cobbler cheesecake. They gave us some small glasses of wine to toast on the house (as well as the creme brulee). The creme brulee was pretty good though the sugary top could have been crispier. The cheesecake was just OK. Lots of peach preserves on a regular NY style cheesecake. Wouldn't get it again. Overall food is good but wait times and the forgetfullness were disappointing. read more

This has quickly become our favorite spot before any performance at the Cobb Energy Center, which is walkable! And it will likely be our go-to date night place or special occasion place. As long as I have breath in my lungs, I will sing the praises of C&S seafood! Hands down my favorite upscale seafood restaurant in the city. I've told my fiance several times, "if you ever run out of ideas of places to take me, you can never go wrong with C&S seafood!" Y'all, I love this place. Every time I've gone the service is professional, fast and attentive. This particular time, I was out with family for Mother's Day and our group was fairly large. Our waiter didn't miss a beat. Everyone's orders were correct down to the small details of who wanted ice/no ice in their drinks. I can't talk enough about the oysters at C&S. My all time favorite. They are fresh, flavorful and just down right delicious. This is definitely the restaurant for you if you enjoy a good time, good service and outstanding seafood. read more

One word: Brava! I was looking for a nice seafood restaurant to take my mother out to celebrate her birthday, and C&S came up during my search so I decided to take her there. I'm so glad I did!! My mom and dad both ordered the shrimp, and said it was amazing (sorry I don't have pics). My sister order a Chicken salad because she is allergic to seafood, she also said it was amazing. I ordered the market Salmon with lobster risotto and Spanish. The lobster risotto might honestly be in the top 5 best things I've ever eaten. Just like a picture; that lobster risotto is worth 1,000 words. The salmon was also exquisite. We ordered a bottle of moscato which was also pretty good. The only issue I had with the restaurant is that when making a reservation they ask what, if any occasion is being celebrated. I put that we are celebrating my Mothers birthday. In my opinion it was pointless because the only thing that happened is that she received a mundane "Happy Birthday" from the hostess which is nice. But a restaurant this expensive and nice should put in a little more effort, whether it's a special menu with Happy Birthday on it, a free slice of cake, anything would be nice. After seeing this place on TikTok I decided to move it to the top of my list and check it out. Definitely a high quality restaurant. 5 stars not only for the food but the service. Of course I ordered oysters, both raw and chargrilled which were delicious. So delicious we ordered a second order of their chargrilled oysters. For the main I had their current market special which was the sea bass covered with tased potatoes and asparagus. My friend ordered their fried shrimp and oyster platter with mushrooms. My food was either freaking good or I was just freaking hungry because I cleaned my plate. 10/10 would be back. Hopefully on someone tab because it was pricy lol. read more

The food here is phenomenal! My family and I dined here last night for my dads birthday and everything that we ordered were delicious. It's pricey for sure but I wanted to treat my family out to a nice place such as C&S. Our server was friendly and personable. We ordered the le grand, sea bass, clam chowder, crispy calamari, ny steak, and a few drinks. The Pineapple Express was what I got and it tastes just like a pina colada! Really sweet and light. My meal and experience was so over the top amazing that I reached out to two of my friends to tell them about it while I was still at the table. I want to give this place more stars but there were several issues with my experience last night. Went there with two friends. Food was well prepared and pretty tasty. We had raw oysters, the octopus, and the chargrilled oysters to start. All super yum. We each had fish (branzino, grouper, red snapper) and all were flavorful and the sides were all pretty good. My potatoes could have been cooked a little more and my friend's broccolini was just 'okay'. Problem? Our server was TERRIBLE. From what I could tell, he seemed to have only 4-5 tables. Maybe he was new and did not know what he was doing? He couldn't open wine, he didn't check back to pour our wine and that drove me crazy. If my wine is sitting on a silver tray, I expect YOU to pour it and not the guest at the table. I waited tables for about 20 years and my guests never had to pour their own wine. When we finally got him to return, we asked for two glasses of the bottle we had been drinking and he tried to pour it and acted surprised that it was empty! He didn't really know the menu and was very unclear and confused about the menu in general. He sort of got lost with the 6-top next to us and paid most of his attention to them instead of our measly 3-top booth. When we were chatting in the beginning, he was constantly checking in, when we wanted to order, he disappeared. I had to encourage him to pre-bus by putting things at the edge of the table as a hint for him to take them. Food was good, atmosphere was nice, but server kind of ruined it. read more

The menu was extensive even at brunch times. We ordered a variety...shrimp and grits, shrimp and waffles, gulf flounder almandine, Hugo's Benedict, praline bacon x3. Don't miss the praline bacon!! They have an bottomless mimosas and make your own Bloody Mary with endless options for mix, vodka and garnishes! We took advantage of both of those! Our server was Melvin (or Marvin, sorry buddy)! He was the most professional and funny server that I have ever had. He suggested wonderful dishes and cocktails. Excellent suggestions! Everything was great! Best salmon I've had in memory. King something Salmon blackened and served with a Lemon sauce done medium rare. Melt in your mouth, and left a clean plate. Sever with spinach and Brussel sprouts. Fantastic meal. Server named "Romeo" who jokingly called himself Chapelle, was terrific. The interior itself is neither overwhelming nor underwhelming. The $38 for my salmon was, given inflation, not cheap, but well worth the experience and high food quality and chef performance. There was a plating mixup, and we were next to the open to public kitchen, and it sounded like a Hells Kitchen episode with "Chef!, there's been a mix-up" which made me, in retrospect, feel like Gordon himself was back there. The tuna tartare was fresh in a light soy sugar sesame oil served with home made chips - while it was very very good, it was not a repeat item. I think it would have been much better if the chef had simply mixed the sauce into the tuna for a bit before serving. My friend A had the non-skin on salmon, which she loved, which is saying something because she's a meat lover, not seafood. Take this part to heart. I usually opt for less expensive hole in the walls and cooking at home where for the most part, I feel like I get as good or better than most restaurant quality meals (I like to cook). However, there's no way I'll ever be able to do as good as the meal I had last night. The King Salmon, blackened, with the lemon sauce over spinach was simply one of the best meals I've had in the past 30 years, and the best in recent memory. Highly recommend going for this dish, and ask for Romeo. read more
