I never feel uncomfortable or anxious with this place doing work on my cars. My only complain is that they're not open on weekends so a lot of the times I have to change my work schedule around the store hours but that's such a small downside for me. Back in 2022 I had a problem with my Saturn Ion that nobody could fix. No shop could find the part that was needed because Saturn went out of business so long ago. I went to well over 8 different shops to get the issue resolved. Garage 31 was the only shop that fixed the issue even though they had to jump through so many hoops to resolve the issue. Ever since then my wife and I have been a loyal customers and we recommend this place to everyone we know.

GREG listened to my explanation of my cars symptoms. Explain to me that the lock-up torque converter... Which wasn't supposed to be locked when you stop.. wasn't releasing when I stopped.. I told Greg I had recently my I lost my job and I was pretty much penniless. He asked me simply do you want your car repaired?? I SAID YES. GREG WENT INSIDE AND PICKED UP A 2 FT LONG PRY BAR, CAME OUT TO MY CAR OPENED MY HOOD, REACHED DOWN AND SEPARATED THE WIRING HARNESS FROM THE TRANSMISSION. So he disabled the lockup torque converter from working, for now my car wouldn't die at a stoplight or stop sign.. GREG was nice enough to take the time to spend a few minutes talking to me about my car, his professional philosophy. He told me he had to go back to work and should have a nice day.. I was 90 miles from home, near starved rock , on a Sunday when i got a flat. Everything is closed…read moreon sundays near starved rock and most places there may not be equipped to deal with a tesla. It was going to cost me over $700 for a tow back to my area. I had the tire slime that is supposed to coat the inside of your tire so you can drive together to a place. But didn't seem to work, i still had a slow leak. So in trying to find a place open on Sunday that could handle Tesla, i found this Firestone in Aurora. I spoke with Bryan on phone and he confirmed they could do it, but they may not have the right tire in stock. Fortunately i had an extra tire with me, and learned the hard way, the night before, a tow truck can't just put a new tire on a rim, it has to be done at a shop. So i drive to Firestone, refilling my tire with air until i got there. Fortunately, that worked. Brian couldn't have been nicer . The shops pretty busy and he tries hard to accommodate everyone. They put on the new tire and i was on my way. I was so relieved and so grateful for Brian's care. I highly recommend this Firestone. I can tell they care bout their clientele. Also their bathroom is really clean. Thanks, Bryan! I was so stressed out and the sense of relief that i could then get home safely was such a relief.
