The workers showed up on time everyday and I mean they worked. I must say they did an excellent job on my house and I received plenty of compliments on how they cleaned the brick up and how nice the house looks. I would recommend this company to my family and friends. Vargas Masonry and Roofing is really professional and goes over and beyond the call of duty to please its clients.

Highly Recommend Donovan Roofing & Construction!…read more I had an excellent experience with Donovan Roofing & Construction. They replaced the roof on my home, which was a very large job--approximately 4,100 square feet of roofing--and the finished roof turned out absolutely beautiful! From start to finish, I was extremely impressed with the quality of their work. The crew did a fantastic job, paid attention to detail, and the final result exceeded my expectations. With a project this size, I wanted to make sure it was done right, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I would definitely recommend Donovan Roofing & Construction to anyone looking for a roofing company that delivers beautiful, quality work. Five stars from me!

I don't usually write reviews but decided to this time because I am a satisfied customer and I think when I'm looking for a company, I want to see if that company has good reviews and if they keep their word. This one did for me...every single word. I'd use them again if needed (though they did such a good job I likely won't until we move!)

We sent a formal demand letter and ultimately had to pursue small claims court to resolve it. We wish we'd done more due diligence before paying anything upfront.

I left a review at that time, was contacted by a manager and was asked to remove review and took care of our issue. Since then, a few of the plants have died and upon asking if there was a warranty we were told there was. We requested in June 2020 for the dead plants to be replaced and sent pictures. We never heard back. Reached out to Correy again and he assured us there would be a crew out the week of 6/22/2020. Needless to say, as of today, 7/31/2020, no crew, no replaced shrubs, and zero communication from this company. I do not recommend this company whatsoever. For the amount of money charged for the work, it is subpar, as well as the customer service is incredibly disappointing. We have five cul-de-sacs in our subdivision and have opted to use someone else so not to create the headache of trying to get them to communicate, follow through, and trying to get the work right. Our subdivision tries to use contractors in our own community, but feel it is well worth going outside of our community for a good company.

After some research, we felt good about calling Terry and the crew and scheduled them to come out for a quote. When we met with Terry to get his vision for a retaining wall; he was friendly and knew what we wanted from the start. He was able to match the brick work that was already pre-existing in the back of our house; which was a plus! Terry and his crew scheduled a time to come out to work on the wall; and they made it look awesome! They made sure to include drainage areas and the tiered looks is just what we wanted for the steep incline in our yard. Not only do we use GLC for our retaining wall, we also use them to treat our yard and do most of the yard work. When we first moved in, our yard was filled with mostly weeds and we had a "grub" problem. Well, with their help, our yard is looking better and the grass is actually green and well taken care of! They do all sorts of treatment throughout the year for us at a decent rate and we are so lucky to have them come out to mow the lawn too! When the crew arrives for lawn service, they get things done pretty quickly and always make sure to clean up after themselves. Overall, we will continue to use GLC and are happy to recommend this company to anyone! We have only had positive experiences with them right from the start. Thanks guys and Thanks Terry for helping our "curb appeal"!
