Fantastic experience. Went for a smog check. They were fast, and the owner was kind and treated me with respect and dignity. Price was also very fair. I called other smog test sites in the area and the price here was the best, but also worth it due to the good atmosphere and quick work. read more

Service was great. I called and was told to come right in, that it would take about 15 minutes. And it was true. Even though there were several cars there at the garage, my car was tended to right away and I was finished in about 15 minutes. Fair price as well. read more

C&G Test Only - It's that Gian time! - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Giancarlo is the guy I trust with my Smog Test needs. Been a customer for years across many cars.

Went today during the holiday, and it wasn't too busy. John was terrific--let me know that I was next and did the smog check super quickly. He was very professional, and even gave me tips about the new DMV kiosks. Price was fair and clear. Will be back if I need a STAR certified smog check. Thank you! read more

Super easy, pleasant and professional. I've been going here for probably 10 years now and I'll never go anywhere else.

Getting a smog check was not bad at all and it took only 15 minutes! Gian is a very nice person and does a very thorough job. He balanced the air in my tires, instructed me the different ways to pay the registration fee and told me what to expect with the lights on my dash board after getting a smog check. His facility is well kept and organized. The only recommendation is that he needs to put a seat cover on my seat if he plans to lay on the floor to check underneath the car; other than that, he's the best guy to go to in town! read more

This is a very nice business. Wish it actually wasn't every few years, the owner is a pleasure to deal with. Best place to get your car smog check done. Straight-shooter, no baloney. He even Submits your Registration payment to the DMV! One stop shopping! Very good choice! read more

My second visit to C&G and they moved two block since my last visit. I'm glad they reopened in their new location. Service here is always friendly, fast and professional. John, the owner, genuinely cares about great customer service. He has set-up a customer waiting area, under umbrellas, that is clean and comfortable. I forgot to ask for the check-in discount, so be sure to check-in to save some $$$. C&G gives the best smog check experience I've ever had. Thanks, John! read more

I went to C&G Yest only because they had great reviews, and their service lived up to my expectations. They were a little busy, but spoke to me as soon as I arrived, they had a comfortable little waiting area out front with umbrellas which was awesome. My test took 15 minutes, and I was on my way. They were friendly, informative, regular people. They made you want to do business with them again, because they were so strait forward, with industry standard prices, everything happened so smoothly, I plan to do all of my car maintenance and check ups with them. When it comes to automotive maintenance, the best thing is knowing your getting the best service for industry standard prices. These guys are awesome! read more

In & out test Center. Very professional and quick. Little on expensive side but place is very clean that a oxymoron for a mechanic shop. The one man army knows what he is doing. Period. read more

Friendly and knowledgeable service by Giancarlo. I went to get a smog check on my 2011 Miata at another shop and the person could not find a part of my engine that he needed to sign off on - in fact, he looked for almost an hour and even called in a friend to look. They suspected that I had altered my engine. Because this was the last day I could renew my registration and past 5pm, I had to scramble to find another place to get this done. Thank goodness for Gian. He was friendly and professional. When I told him about my other experience, he showed me where the part that the other guy couldn't find was, and also gave me a brief tour of my engine. He also suggested that I renew my registration at a kiosk to save time. Despite being near closing time, he was patient and informative. Highly recommended! read more

Best smog spot I have been to. Only took 15 minutes and everyone was super nice. Thanks read more

I called ahead to get a quote. It was a few dollars more expensive than another shop down the street, but I picked C&G because the information provided on the phone was clear and the person on the phone seemed pleasant. No appointment necessary. I pulled straight into C&G and was immediately greeted by John. I was given an invoice that matched the price I was quoted. There's an area to sit with tables and umbrellas. It was a really hot day, so I went to an adjacent store to wait 10 minutes. When I came back, my car was ready. John was very friendly and knowledgeable. This will be my go to place for smog tests in the future. read more

This was probably the most effortless Smog Check I've received to date. Be sure to get the coupon online for $3 off the smog check. Giancarlo aka John was phenomenal in providing quality service. The whole process probably took around 10-15 minutes. The best part, he even offered renew my registration online. I love that there is clean seating area outside while waiting for the smog check. The total was $60-$3 for the coupon online for a grand total of $57. read more

So I take all my cars here to get smogged. John is a great guy and does a great job! It's not the cheapest place but John is great! I trust his work and have never had any issues here. John is working out of a different repair shop and has told me they are very reliable also. If you need to get your car smog checked this is the place to go. read more

I came across this place searching on yelp for a smog check location near Glendale and this popped up first in the search results. I read some reviews and 98% of them were 5 stars so i decided to bring in my old daily driver a '92 Toyota Corolla to get it smogged. Gian the owner of the spot helped me out and provided outstanding customer service! This place is fast, trustworthy, friendly and the cleanest smog check spot I've ever been to! An extra star as this place caters to low profile car as someone mentioned in their reviews previously. After my car passed Gian also offered to let me use his computer to pay for my registration. I highly doubt you'll find that at any other smog test place. Be sure to visit their website before going and print out the $8.00 off Coupon! Thank You once again Gian for your great service! Bringing the car back for it's net smog! read more

C&G Test Only - Rolla gettin' smogged - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Los Angeles, California

The guy at C&G was great, nice, polite, and wore a mask. Reasonably priced place. My issue is with the shared space with Ray's Auto Repair. There were at least 4 people not wearing masks including one person inside the office and patrons and workers standing face to face talking. It was truly disgusting and appalling. I'm 38 weeks pregnant with underlying health issues and it's simply not okay to subject others to this. I confronted one of them about not wearing a mask and the guy got mad at me and said he was 6 feet away from me so it didn't matter. I didn't want to argue further but that's not the law right now--everyone must wear masks even if outside and 6 feet away. To the C&G owner--please think about humanity and the people's lives and speak up to Ray about his hygiene policies if you haven't already. read more

I just went here as I hated the place that is closer to my house, *cough*..Kings Smog, *cough* *cough*... Anywho, I will leave that to my review of THAT place later. It was just this really nice man, who helped me out. He isn't part of the gas station, it just happens to be next door to it. I gave him my Driver's license, and my DMV paperwork and he took care of the rest. Very curtious and helpful. And my car passed! Which made the experience that much better! 10 min later, I was on my way to AAA. Phew, now that I got that over with, I could enjoy my day! read more

This is the ONLY place I'd go to get my car SMOG checked. The owner, John, is very friendly and knowledgeable. Would not take my car anywhere else. read more

Fast, efficient, and friendly. Requested a quote via Yelp on Sunday not expecting a response until business hours. Yelp said the response usually takes around 10 minutes, but I received a prompt response within a few minutes. The response answered all my questions and included a discount. Next day my hubby and I were in the area so we did a walk-in. Giancarlo was super friendly and provided great customer service so I knew what to expect. Didn't realize I could do this but I could've also gotten my car registered there if I hadn't already done that online. Everything went well. I couldn't have ask for better service. Good service is so hard to get these days so I'm making sure I put in a good word for this place. We passed 3 smog check stations to come here but it's worth it. I highly recommend!!! read more

I have been going here for years, he is friendly and knowledgable. We have older cars a 1998 Mitsubishi 3000, that he is able to discuss and help us with. Easy, personable, thorough, professional, and... did I say easy? Took my BMW here for smog check coincidentally about a week after I'd had to change the battery. I had no idea that changing the battery reset my computer, and it needed more time to run all of its internal tests before I could pass smog. I was given very well written and understandable instructions on the procedure to get the car ready for inspection, and within an hour I as all good. Thanks! read more
