I got the hot jack burger with curly fries and it was very good. My husband got the rodeo burger and he enjoyed it as well. The service was pretty quick--we got our food within 15 minutes or so of ordering. Also, the bathroom was very clean. read more

Food was Alright, but customer service sucked. Family ahead of me ordered there food than once they get there food they realize they didn't get a soda and fries. They are given there soda, but than the lady informs them they didn't order fries (I heard the wife order them...) guy bites his tongue and wakes off. I get my order to go at the counter and they almost forgot my soda. Than as I'm bout to hit the road I realize I didn't get my fries either...must be something special in the waters around Bordman... Two of us stopped on a 7 state toad trip. Our order was the Buffalo burger, ham and cheese and large onion rings. There's something about classic driveIn food when it's done right and those of you who who do classic joints know what I'm talking about. It's the way it's prepped, cooked, and put together in a style that our parents and grandparents know. And it all tastes great. The Buffalo Burger was very tasty. A little dry but anyone who knows that it's a lean meat expect a bit of that. The ham and cheese had grilled ham which was then put into a grilled cheese and sent to a flat top for a second time. Great flavor and my wife said "best ever". Onion rings are old school beer batter with thick onion slices cooked tender. If we find ourselves back in that area of Oregon, we are definitely stopping in again. read more

I was looking for a place in Boardman and I saw some good reviews so we went to give it a try. A. I thought the pizza was WAY overpriced. B. When you walk in, it smelled so greasy from all the donuts. C. They overcooked the pizza (we got the half pepperoni, half hawaiian). D. The grilled chicken wrap smelled so much like the nasty donut smell (probably used similar tools/grease for the tortilla. Anyway, our opinion: don't bother. My husband and kids, who eat everything, and love pizza, didn't enjoy it either. C & D has recently been under new ownership. The customer service has went down hill since. The menu is still the same, and the food is good, with 2 exceptions of receiving a raw burger, which they did replace and deliver w/out charge. (replacement burger not original) I work for a local business in Boardman and we have monthly staff meetings. C & D is usually the place we choose to provide the lunch. The lunch bill is usually near $100.00. We also eat there as individuals 2-4 times a week. We were told to fax our orders ahead of time, (an hour is usually what we give them) so they can have enough time to prepare. We have 8-10 employee orders. They used to deliver to us, for a $3.00 charge, but recently informed us that they didn't have time or the man power to deliver. (they advertise delivery) so we began picking it up. The last few times we've ordered, even our smaller orders, 2-3 people, the wait time has increased from 10-40 mins. 40 mins for 3 burgers is unacceptable, did I mention that it occasionally shows up raw? Today we placed an $88.00 order at 11:45a.m. and I called back at 12:30 to verify the total and was told quite curtly that they didn't have time to add it up and that they'd get to it when they got to it. I responded that if they were too busy to help us then we could cancel our order; we didn't appreciate them making us feel like an inconvenience, as we are very good customers, and it had already been 45 mins. They said it almost done and they'd call back. We received the call and went to pick it up. When we got there, the owner headed straight for us, they know exactly who we are because we go there that much, and told us that they would not be taking our orders anymore it was too inconvenient unless we called it in a DAY ahead of time. My co-worker said OK, and he kept going off about how they have to close a window to make our orders and our call in orders are NOT their priority. I asked him how he could say they when we spend collectively about $700.00 a month at their establishment and tourists driving through are their priority? And what was the difference if all 8-10 of us came in and stood in line and placed our orders? Wasn't it more convenient to have a list an hour ahead of time? (Which he agreed) There were 3 customers standing in the lobby during this "lunch rush" it's now 1:20p.m. by the way. He was loud and rude and all the employees stopped to listen. If he'd approached us nicely and explained that they would like us to come in and order or they needed more than an hour to order, it'd would've been a totally different scenario. I went to the local chamber to explain to them how their members are acting and they informed us it's not the 1st complaint they've had about the "new" owners. I will never go back there and will tell anyone is local that they are not the priority so don't waste your hard earned money where it's NOT appreciated! What an awful experience. I created a yelp account just so I could warn others from stopping here and try to plan your trip in order to avoid the restaurant at all costs. Not only was the food disgusting, over cooked, greasy, dirty, the customer service was terrible. Do not, I repeat, do not eat here. we stopped at C & D 7/20/2015 we only stopped because the place across the street had closed . we just had a regular chees burger each .the fly's where every where . the case they have cookies in had fly's in .we ate our burgers in the car just to be away from the fly's I could only eat half of mine . we will not be stopping in Boardman ever again not worth getting sick over . one customer actually asked one of the workers there if she had washed her hands he didn't get answer . read more

On a road trip from Spokane (Hoopfest) and headed back to the Bay Area. We needed gas and food. Right next to The Chevron station is C and D burgers and I must say that these burgers ain't bad at all. In fact they're pretty damn good. Cooked just right. Good flavor. They were so good I bought another one for the road. So if you going north towards Spokane stop and get a good burger. You won't be disappointed. read more

Clean bathrooms, fast service and a grilled cheese for $2. How can you go wrong? There isn't much seating inside, but unless you have a large group if people, you can be in and out in less than 20 minutes. read more

i grew up in pullman, loving the cub burger from cougar country. I moved to the tri cities about ten years ago and often contemplate making the drive from here to pullman (a little over 2 hours) just to get a cub burger. I came across c & d when makin a trip to the oregon coast, decided to get a jr burger and much to my suprise it is almost exactly a cub burger, just hav to get rid of the pickles! We were hungry and couldn't wait. Sounded good. Read a few of the other reviews and decided to try it. Not bad. Prices are alright unless you want one of the specialty burgers. They sounded good though. Might have to try the elk burger next time. But at 8.99 a burger we decided to stick with a regular cheese burger. My daughter got the corn dog. Good sized dog inside and they cooked it well. My son got the junior burger. He usually eats a lot but figured it would be enough this time. It was. He commented on liking the bun. I think because it was toasted :) My husband and I each got the regular cheese burger. It was cooked well and the toasted bun just made it better. I like that it wasn't too greasy like other non-chain burger joints. Ordered a small curly fry and a small tot to share. We skipped drinks. Didn't order water bc they charge 25c a water.. Luckily we had our own waters in the truck. We all ate for about 16 bucks. Not bad to feed a family of 4. Would cost the same or even a bit more if we hit up a chain joint and it tasted much better so I'm happy :) We will probably hit it up again on our next trip down to Oregon :) great pit stop with tasty food. :) oh and the bathrooms were clean as well....so that's another huge plus. :) read more

Exactly what you would expect of a greasy spoon. The burgers are delicious. I would give 4 stars but th fries, tots and curly fries are awful. I'm not sure if they don't fey them hot enough or if they are freezer burnt. We stopped getting them when we pass thru and order burgers. Shakes are tasty. read more

My aunt used to have a hamburger stand back in the 1960s. These burgers were almost duplicates of hers! What a treat. I would give it 5 stars if it didn't have crinkle fries.
