This repair could have been much worse. I was replacing a toilet in my upstairs master bathroom when I noticed the flange was rotted away as I was picking at it the sub-flooring started going with it. I was very concerned. Even prepared to file a homeowners insurance claim. The old toilet had slowly been leaking into the wood sub-flooring. The insulation fortunately contained the water so no leak downstairs and no mold. Fixer was the only company that could get me a handyman in the same day (competitors were weeks away). Ian stayed until 9pm roughly fixing my sub-flooring and installing a new flange. The attention to detail was impeccable. The job was done at the highest standard. The area around my toilet is now probably the most secure spot in my home. I highly recommend this business and highly recommend Ian.

Fixer responded promptly with their hourly rate, outlined that they prorate shopping time and charge to the minute rather than by the hour. They have an online booking system that was easy to use and after providing photos of the project they suggested I book two techs. I was hesitant about that at first but ultimately glad I did. That vanity was HEAVY at about 250 lbs and it was being installed in a very tight space so having two people worked out so I could do other things around my renovation project while they wrangled with the cabinet and plumbing. Brian and Chang were great. They were prompt, professional, friendly, and kept us in the loop every step of the way. They made sure we were happy with the project and I was comfortable having them in my home and would happily have them back for another project in the future I also like the fact that the company pays their people, gives them benefits, keeps up with continuing education, vets their people thoroughly, and makes it a point to hire minorities. That did play a role in my decision to hire them for the job. 5/5 would hire them again.

This is a bit lengthy but deserved. In Arizona, air…read moreconditioning is as important as water. Without it for nine months, you would suffer. We bought a 50-year-old home four years ago. The AC unit was at least 15 years old and struggling. We approached different companies about service and repair; one tech, Sebastian of Reiss Air Conditioning, shined in explaining the challenges of our old system and nursing it through three summers. This summer it would give out, so we asked Reiss for some solutions. They came up with a plan to replace the AC unit and update the old duct distribution system. Such a project would also require installing a new electrical panel, to replace the original. We can report that the project is completed and we couldn't be more satisfied in the work. What made a challenging project attainable? The expertise and customer focus of the Reiss crew. First, every Reiss tech -- Antonio, Phoenix, Marcus, Pablo and Marco -- was professional, on time, conscientious and patient. We set appointments and were reminded the day before and day of. Each respected our home and our time. Second, Jedi and Zane completed the switch to the new electrical box without a problem. They identified unlabeled connections and finished the project with clean tags for each appliance and location. Third, Brian and Stephen at the Reiss main office worked with us on the specs of the project, available discounts, comparable substitutions and problem-solving. They were responsive and straightforward. This was a month-long initiative due to permits, etc. but Reiss led every step of the way. And we were without AC for only half of one day. Finding a trusted partner for crucial home projects can be daunting; we recommend Reiss and the team that served us wholeheartedly.

When asking questions, the "tech" was interrupting us, laughing at our questions, and disregarding anything we said about the pictures and measurements that were taken by the previous technicians (from another company). He gets called out by warranty companies for work and is only worried about whether the unit is "blowing air", not if the unit is working triple overtime to get the A/C running.... which is the exact reason he was called out. Easy for scammers like him to bring a toolbag (which had nothing in it) and an ambient temperature gage to pretend he's an A/C tech.. We asked him to leave the house when he was talking over us... he didn't. Instead he pushed forward and kept talking over us. Scary when a man isn't leaving a 2-woman household after being asked.
