My home inspector said absolutely not, call someone else. Another estimate came from a company that didn't even come to the house. I told them what my inspector thought was the issue and he quoted me a price solely based on that. Feeling super defeated, I ended up calling Ryan at Elegant Exteriors for a 3rd and final consult. I definitely saved the best for last because Ryan was phenomenal. He was up on the roof before I knew it taking pictures and surveying everything. He showed me what he felt was the issue and his prices were very reasonable. He was such a pleasure to work with too- just a genuinely nice, helpful, and honest guy. Matthew, the project manager, kept me informed of scheduling and what to expect at every step. They solved several problems we had. They even saved us money on the day of installation by pointing out we had copper flashing around our chimneys, which is superior to aluminum. My biggest concern was that this is a summer home so we were not around a lot to supervise. It's 6 months later and I'm still finding old tar paper around the property and no response from Gorski constructions. I haven't been on the roof to check the guttering to see how much tar paper is in them. If you hire them check every inch of your property to make sure nothing is broken and everything is cleaned up. Would I ever use them again I doubt it.
