Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!

After hiring the The Roof Doctors, they: a) removed the existing layer of roofing shingles to wood deck, b) installed ice and water shield on all eaves and valleys, around chimneys, and on all low pitch areas of roofing b) installed premium GAF synthetic vapor barrier on field section of roof deck, c) installed GAF Timberline Lifetime shingles, d) installed new roll vent ridge vent system e) installed new step flashing and counter flashing including base around chimney, f) installed new GAF Hip and Ridge caps, and g) installed new counter flashing on chimneys. They even installed gutter guards and trimmed low-hanging branches above upper roof section -- at no extra cost. The entire project was all for under $10,000! Just recently had my roof installed by JR roofing and gutters did some shopping around and got some…read moreridiculous prices .When I called up JR he came down and gave me a professional estimate and explained exactly what he would be doing at a far price .He told me about the GAF complete roof systems which consisted of seven separate items that have to be installed on your roof there's a leak barrier,roof deck protection ,starter strip ,plus the lifetime shingles ,cobra attic ventilation and ridge caps that come with a limited life time warranty.His professional installers came and stripped my roof off in less than three hours and installed 37 square in one day and put in a ridge vent on my house and cleaned everything up the same day and carted it away .Two day later JR came himself and replaced my front entrance gutters and house vents and put new metal Facial over my garage roof.He delivery on everything he said and did a great job .I would highly recommend JR Roofing and Gutters .
