Not sure what parking lot they get their employees from but they did more damage than the simple job that I hired them to do. I should have posted this back in 2024 (it is currently 2026) when this issue occurred to help you Yelpers but didn't want to impact a legal recourse. The job I hired them to do was to take out a roof ridge vent and replace with regular roofing ridge shingles and install an attic fan, that was all. Did not need 7 employees hanging out on my roof. I had to yell up to them that taking the chimney apart was not included in this work so they bent the aluminum capping back half ass. They did not even replace the ridge vent shingles correctly or enough therefore left exposed nail holes from removing the ridge vent shingles. The photo (see my photos) of this job shows the light of the sky that you can see through one of the holes from the INSIDE of my attic. When complaint was presented to the owner I was told that the holes are too small to let rainwater in!! They also cut the ridge vent shingles right on my existing roof without a cutting board therefore slicing up the existing roofing shingles. The attic fan was the wrong one installed which was a cheaper version. Wouldn't you check the item to insure it was the correct model BEFORE installation?!? Proven contractors also conveniently gave me an additional estimate for $$$$ thousands more to fix the damage that THEY caused. Also owner of this company is very curt and dismissive when approached with the complaint. This company was a never-ending NIGHTMARE so if you hire them you better have knowledge and be the supervisor yourself.

Replaced an outdoor spiral staircase and many other things. Although this was a big job, Proven's pricing was competitive. They gave a multi job discount. My biggest concern was that this is a summer home so we were not around a lot to supervise. I was pleasantly surprised that they showed up when they said they would, and kept to their timetable as closely as possible. They provided a computerized mock up of our actual house so we could see how it would look upon completion. The owners and/or employees were at our home everyday as scheduled. They were professional and respectful. We could not have asked for better craftsmen on each phase of the project. If you complete the work to a fully operational house, and your team leaves half of the home without electricity, why wouldn't it be your responsibility to return and inspect what your team did. As for the water stain, that was also not pre-existing. The removal of the fan and the poor job done in removing and replacing. That was not pre-existing. The window in the bedroom being removed, and not installed properly, then having a hole left to the siding where air could be felt coming thru was not pre-existing. Your team living us without internet. Was not pre-existing. Yes, you had a consultant who was very knowledgeable in handling the insurance portion of it but that does not speak for the entire job.
