The truth is he under budgeted for the job and then continued to ask for more money and finally I cut him off and had to have someone come in to finish it which is the final product he posted. Those are my photos and they were professionally done. This job was supposed to cost 82k per his proposal. He cost me over 50k more than that. He left an incomplete interior. No front porch. No back deck. He never paid the electrician or the plumber. I can provide all details, along with texts and invoices. Besides my personal feelings on the quality of work or lack there of Joe and JMAC Contractor's beat me for a lot of money. I will also post a picture of him actually giving an excuse about him going back to the job almost a month after his cell phone was turned off and he no showed me. Unfortunately, the third visit was a very different experience. Although I had provided a clear photo of the flooring, the installer assumed it was another type. When he realized his mistake, he became frustrated and abruptly raised the price on the spot, saying that if I didn't agree, he would leave. It came across as a bait-and-switch and was highly unprofessional. I informed the owner but received no response, which suggests this behavior is acceptable. I had planned to use the company for future projects, but after this experience, I will not. This level of conduct is unethical and unacceptable in a professional business.

End Result: Beautiful new master bathroom Arthur Hubert is…read morereliable, dependable and very pleasant to work with. His company works with high quality vendors and his workers (electrician, plumber, tiler, painter, etc.) are highly skilled in their specialty, neat, wore masks as requested and trustworthy. (We weren't always home when they worked.) Arthur is quick to respond to correspondence (texting, calls) which is comforting in this stressful process. His vendors all gave him great recommendations as do we. Mr. Hubert spells out the specific costs for labor in an estimated contract. The estimate came very close to the final bill. (Supplies cost more than our original hopes, but they were delivered on time and in good condition.) We started ordering supplies in September and received them sometime in October which is excellent (especially during the delays due to COVID.) All the supplies were in our home before the job began, making for a smoother process of renovation. One of the bathroom walls was re-insulated and a heater/exhaust fan installed, making the room much warmer. Each step of the process (total renovation of the bathroom) made sense and continued in a timely manner. Workmen came even on weekends to get the job done. Mr. Hubert was wonderful to work with, highly skilled and his attention to our concerns were addressed and resolved. We highly recommend the Arthur Hubert Construction Company.
