The truth is he under budgeted for the job and then continued to ask for more money and finally I cut him off and had to have someone come in to finish it which is the final product he posted. Those are my photos and they were professionally done. This job was supposed to cost 82k per his proposal. He cost me over 50k more than that. He left an incomplete interior. No front porch. No back deck. He never paid the electrician or the plumber. I can provide all details, along with texts and invoices. Besides my personal feelings on the quality of work or lack there of Joe and JMAC Contractor's beat me for a lot of money. I will also post a picture of him actually giving an excuse about him going back to the job almost a month after his cell phone was turned off and he no showed me. Sorry for the late post. This work was done in 2024…read more Had a leak coming into the basement around the chimney area. Called Reese & Sons because of their high rating and positive reviews. Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!
