This sushi place is truly incredible!! You can bring your own wine, which is a plus, because not all sushi places allow it. I had the chance to try this place on a Thursday night with 2 friends. The restaurant wasn't packed, which made it cozier, especially that the place isn't big. We made two orders, which included wonton soup, avocado hosomaki, dragon eye roll, hollywood roll, and others. I'd have to say that their dragon eye roll is probably the best one I've had in Montreal in a while!! Everything we had the chance to try was absolutely delicious. The service wa also great, the sushis arrived pretty quickly, but still felt fresh. I definitely recommend this place for a group of 2-4 people, as it is very cozy.

I ordered this poke bowl from the GOLO app it's called poke Bolbar Outremont. It was called the bora bora. At first sight it looked delicious - the ingredients were very good and fresh. However the algue and the kimchi totally ruined the dish for me. Would never order again. I've had so many better poke bowls sadly for them.

8/23/2024 After…read morespending 3 nights in Toronto and eating nothing but Chinese food, I decided to seek out sushi for dinner on my first night in Montreal. Reviews for Fisshu read as decent and only a couple blocks from my hotel, and so I dined in. This is an all you can eat sushi restaurant with Chinese dishes. I know what you're going to say, that I was avoiding Chinese food, yes but the main thing here is sushi. Location: directly located in downtown Montreal and only a block away from the local Macy-esque department store. Upon Entry: I went at a good time, just after 5pm and was very quiet. I was seated promptly and instructed to order directly on the iPad. Very straightforward. This is a no thrills restaurant. You come here to get full and you certainly will. The Food & The Service: selection of sushi was decent but not abundant as one would find at a traditional or conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Other non sushi dishes included Chinese staples like fried rice and general Tso's chicken. I stuck mainly to sushi, alternating between nigiri and specialty rolls. I did supplement my meal with stir fried udon noodles and miso soup. While the selection of fish was quite limited, the freshness and composition of the sushi made up for it. I ordered multiple nigiris of eel, tomago, blue fin tuna and tofu skin just to name a few. The sushi was excellent. Interaction between the wait staff and myself was limited but efficient as food came out and plates cleared quickly. Final Thoughts: 10% discount off the bill is offered if one were to pay in cash. I was happy to have found this all you can eat sushi spot in Montreal. If you want a no thrills, no fuss, quick and delicious meal; definitely try Fisshu.

I loved the vibes here! Beautiful cool wall art on every wall! Super relaxing and enjoyable…read moreexperience. You order on an iPad and they send you your food but they forgot some parts of orders multiple times. Also every order is very very small portions like 4 piece for a Cali roll but it is all you can eat so you can order as much as you like. I like this system because it lets you try new rolls and different foods without getting a whole portion of it. Overall sushi fish was fresh but I would always dial back on the rice. This is normal for all you can eat resteraunts because they want you to get full off of rice. I definitely would come back because they have a big big menu and lots of variety for all you can eat. I recommend only ordering sashimi and maki rolls as well as the appetizers. The ramen and the hand rolls are not worth it.
