I found Z Movers online and initially selected the company since they were only 15 minutes away. When I called, Zula answered and I told her some brief details of the move I wanted to schedule. She said she would come to my place to make an inspection and would be there within 30 minutes.....which she was. We looked and my place and then I took her to a storage facility 5 minutes away that I was using so she could see the total items I wanted to move. After that, she gave me a verbal quote and within 2 hours she emailed me a written quote which was exactly the same as her verbal quote. I accepted her quote and then throughout the next few weeks of getting ready to move, packing up everything I could pack, Zula and I talked several times and got pretty well acquainted. Zula is very smart, professionally astute and does exactly what she says!! On my moving day, Zula came along with the 2 guys that would take care of my move and then to my surprise she ended up staying and helping out until everything was secure and loaded properly. The 2 guys that did the work (Tim and Ahn) couldn't have worked harder and couldn't have been nicer. So, we get to where I moved and the unloading process was even harder than loading but the guys never complained about anything, they always had a smile on their face and everything went extremely well. Having to relocate for work the daunting task is always finding a moving company. After talking with over 6 different companies I selected Z Movers based on: #1 they do the move. They loaded my furniture on their truck on Monday and unloaded it the next day (due to the move was only 5 hours away). This is the first of many moves that I had the same team load and unload my furniture. #2 the cost for this move was one of the lowest rates. It was almost 1/2 of what others were wanting to charge for the same move. #3 They were able to make the move happen on my time frame not theirs. After choosing Z Movers I had 3 professional movers arrive the day of loading and unassembled my furniture, load everything in the truck. Since you get the whole truck there is no worry of cross contamination from having your furniture mixed with a strangers furniture. The following morning the same 3 professional movers were at my new home and ready to unload and reassemble the furniture that needed to be rebuilt. They never complained and it was in the upper 20's where they had to deliver to. They completed the unload within 3 hours. Finally Zula was very helpful and professional with the entire process. I cannot say enough great things about our experience with US Movers. We just finished moving in and talk about making moving easy. Our weekend started off with a nightmare because we decided to let Two Men and a Truck try and move us. We were going to move out on Saturday but Two Men showed up and refused to do the job because their rep quoted us incorrectly. So at 4pm on Saturday with our closing at 9am on Monday I called Zula on a prayer and she answered. She had one truck available and to accommodate our move would have a second truck show up in the afternoon if needed. Turns out we only needed the one truck which is where 2 Men had an issue saying it would be impossible, didn't have a second truck and told us too bad. The move out went great and was even more smooth for our move in. At the end of the day they quoted that it would take at least 6 hours each, it took 6 hours total to move out and in. So overall it actually did come out cheaper to use US Movers. As if coming through in the clutch wasn't already enough, Zula personally came out to our delivery to bring the final contract and to make sure everything was going smooth for us. They were very professional and in our time of need for very empathetic and accommodating. I've already shared their contact info with numerous friends that are moving soon. We recently used Z Movers and Relocation for our move from IL to WI. We moved from a 2-bed house to a 3-bed house and had our 3 young children with us for the move. The service was amazing, starting with their immediate contact after requesting a quote through a website, they then came round the next day to look at what we had to move and then sent a quote a couple of hours later. On the day of the move, they turned up when they said they would and had no problems taking apart our larger furniture items for us. They magically fit all our stuff in 2 lorries within a few hours and transported it safely. At the other end, they unpacked it all quickly and put it in all the right rooms and reassembled the larger furniture very quickly too. Their prices were very reasonable compared to the other quotes received from other companies who also said it couldn't be done in one day! Hiring this moving service was a really great choice. These movers turned so stressful situation into a pleasant moving experience. I even could hardly imagine that it could be so smooth and easy. I needed to move very expensive music instruments and furniture from my house. First of all, I'd like to express how efficient these guys are. I moved from Illinois to Kentucky. I paid $225 extra to have special handling for my grandfather clock. They did nothing. When it got delivered they had not taken the weights out and they fell off the chains and crashed through the bottom. Parts of the broken weights must have fallen out of the bottom. I purchased this clock in 1995 and parts are very hard to find. I contacted z movers before christmas and have received absolutely no response. I have also found a crack in the mirror of my china cabinet. I don't believe they care about the condition of the goods they are moving. read more

We are so pleased with our decision to hire this team for our whole house long distance move from IL to TN. Zula came out to our house to view what we were moving and provide a quote. The movers arrived on time and went straight to work and didn't stop until the truck was loaded.
