4.5 We were treated to Byron's Hotdog which was recommended so I tried it. It's a Chicago Dog with added lettuce, cucumber slices and green pepper. Honestly, it's a salad on top of a hotdog in a bun but I really liked it. It's more filling and I loved the freshness from the vegetables. When you go to Byron's, there is ample parking space in the back. Go inside the small building and order; did get pretty tight in there when a line formed and people were waiting for their food. Service was fast. There are 6 picnic tables in a covered space outside; few seats inside. No restrooms. We drove there but I saw Sheridan station nearby. Located near Wrigley Field.

Hot dogs are fire. Cool old chicago spot. Definitely come here if you looking for the real deal.

I heard a lot of good things about bout this place so I decided to check it out since I had a little extra free time. And to be honest the main reason I tried this place was because it had my name on, literally. So I decided to go in and it's small inside and I feel like if you stay in there too long you will start to smell like the smoke from the grill. The service was ok, I asked the guy if they had anything other than beef and he said no until someone else had to tell him that they had the chicken gyro. I decided to get it because why not and honestly it wasn't that worth it. Maybe their burgers are better, but I'd skip out on the rest. It's cool to see my name plastered on a restaurant like that, but I wish the food and quality was better. I'm giving it a 3 mainly because it has my name on it, but if it didn't I'd probably skip this place.

Hot dog with everything! Make it a combo!

I'm giving it a 5-star rating because this is like a Pink's in Los Angeles. An iconic joint dating back to 1975. I went to the Irving Park location. A small place that pumps out so many kinds of hotdogs, burgers, sandwiches, and more! The crew was friendly and raw at the same time. I got a the combo which came with fries and a soft drink. I'll switch it up and milkshake next time! The ambience... well it's been around for decades. Although it was nice to site outside, you're not going their for luxury seating. It's a hot dog joint! Get down and dirty with some good kick ass hot dogs.

Food was good, it's just your typical hotdog burger joint. Chilli cheese dogs were yummy, you might have to get two if you're hungry though. Cheeseburger was decent. Overall it's a good place to grab a late night bite/drunk food. Service is good but they are pretty busy doing online orders. Ambiance is laidback and chill.

Yeah you should just go here. It's suuuuuch a good Chicago dog with the vienna beef sausage. They put celery salt to season the items on the dog too. Everyone was super nice and FAST when we went in our food was ready instantly. There's a few outdoor picnic tables too that are good for some outdoor eating. Would definitely go here for another dog

Amazing service. Everyone is so kind. Cheap parking for a Cubs game. Food is what you expect.

My favorite burgers and hot dogs in the city. I've been coming since I was little and it's never changed (in the best way) the service is always quick and everyone is kind. It's always nice to sit outside and enjoy your burger and cheese fries.

I came here for lunch with some friends. It was lunch time so a bit busy. In the summer it's no big deal to wait outside for the line to work itself out, but be prepared in the winter. It's a family run business and everything is made to order. Fair prices, great tasting food, and a really nice spot to enjoy a diner-style lunch outside at the picnic tables.

Cool place to stop and grab a Chicago dog with the Bryon's twist on it, tomatoes, cucumber, relish. Shame it wasn't a poppy seed bun. Not the easiest hot dog to eat. Nice dog thought nonetheless. Seating outside, covered and uncovered to eat at.

What a cute little brewery! They have a handful of beers, with a good variety (i.e. 75% are *not*…read moreIPAs). Plus, I think it's fantastic that their menu describes the flavor notes! The prices are extremely reasonable, with most 10oz pours costing ~$5-6. The flight of the 'core' (shall we say) six is $20... not bad at all if you ask me. I ordered 10oz of the Liquid Baguette, as the menu described, Earthy, Crisp, and Refreshing. While not my favorite beer on the planet, it was very respectable for a craft brew. DryHop also has a proper food menu, with mostly American classics with some a little more out there options, like the Kangaroo Steak Frites or the Hunter Stew (I don't recall what kind of meat, but not exactly something readily available at Jewel's. The cup was a large enough portion, even made me wonder if I was given a bowl by mistake. The broth was rich and savory, with an ample amount of protein. While a little more meat and smaller pieces of potatoes would have been welcome, this is more personal preference than a critique. Something which was less than fantastic was the service. I felt it was inattentive and a little slow, especially given the brewery was only moderately busy at the time. Maybe I am becoming an impatient, old curmudgeon, or maybe there's some truth to my observation, you be the judge. Final verdict: I think DryHop would classify as a micro-brewery. In that regard, they have a solid selection and good variety. To have something for the beer to wash down there's a solid food menu. While beers and grub are of a high standard, the service leaves something to be desired.

You enter through a front room with a long bar before moving into the main dining area, which is lined with large windows. Warm wood paneling and colorful graphics give the space an inviting, energetic feel. Our server was excellent--friendly and attentive--and both the owner and a manager stopped by during the evening to check in, which was appreciated. Felix has an extensive cocktail menu, and servers were busy delivering trays of beautiful drinks throughout the night. I ordered the Windy City Sunset mocktail, while my husband chose the Smokey Old Fashioned. Both were very good. The food, however, was more of a mixed bag. We started with the meatballs for the table; unfortunately, they were overcooked and hard, and even the marinara sauce couldn't save them from being dry and unappetizing. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, which was delicious and generously sized--easily enough for two meals. My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan with a side of pasta and found the chicken somewhat dry. Our friends ordered a pasta dish to share, though they didn't eat much of it while tending to their very well-behaved six-month-old. While the bar and dining room are attractive, the bathroom was a major disappointment--dirty and unkempt, especially considering it was early in the evening (around 6 p.m.), not late enough to excuse the condition. The owners and staff are genuinely kind, and the menu shows a lot of promise. At the moment, though, the food doesn't quite live up to what they're serving at Bites. I hope Felix can work out some of the inconsistencies and find success--it certainly has the potential. I would like to give Felix 3.5-stars, but Yelp does not accommodate this option.

Every time I visit, the decor never ceases to impress. It's classy but unpretentious and you can tell folks are there to have a good time. We arrived at about 8:30pm on a Saturday and it was packed. Luckily, we were able to snag seats at a bar before a table opened up around 9pm. A note that they don't take reservations (but I kind of wish they did!), so this isn't the place to go if you're in a rush. They had a special seasonal menu going for the holiday, and we started with the reuben hush puppies. While they were more like croquettes, they were extra crispy, cheesy, and juicy with the most delicious thousand island dressing. I wish they would offer this year round! For mains, we ordered the corned beef and buddha bowl. I really liked the horseradish aioli that came with the beef- while the meat could've been more tender, it had a great flavor overall. The cabbage actually tasted pickled and the carrots sweet; non-traditional, but tasty! The buddha bowl had a very wide range of veggies and perfectly cooked rice. I could drink that spicy peanut sauce. I appreciated how large the portions were, which definitely softened the price as we left with plenty of leftovers. All in all, we had a great experience- if you haven't checked Wilde out, I highly recommend doing so!
