Our contractor has worked with us for about 10 yrs.. he was familiar with what was required due to some damage from last heavy rains that was not going to be taken care of by insurance company Diaz replaced a roof on the contractors home so I gave them a call. They responded to my home for an inspection 24 hrs later after we spoke. They quoted me a price which included the removals & warranty of their work.. they work with you if anything can be salvaged such as tiles as was my case. They asked me to contact them when ready. They began their work early morning on a half roof repair and brought a six man team.. They were diligent.. courteous, no cleanup complaints , and finished same day.. They accept most forms of payment and are licensed. The delivered what was requested and did what they said they would do. They also shared with me pictures of the area and a suggestion about sone other areas for the future.. We were satisfied with their delivery, promptness, and all aspects of their work..no sneaky markup at the end, extra fees or any of that. The original price quoted was exactly what the end price was.. so, quality to value was good. I will be calling them back for future planned job. He came by literally 45 minutes after calling, clambered all over roof, sent me clear photos and gave me a verbal description of what needed to be done regarding my Spanish tile/membrane roof. Verbal price broken down to 2 options - cleaning only or full reset (replace broken tiles/elastic paint 2 coats of membrane) - I accepted full one verbally, he said Monday AM start and the written estimate was in my email that evening. By Thursday noon job completed which clearly was needed and more extensive than initially thought - as an example replacement of 70 broken tiles turned into 150, a plugged roof drain for who knows how long was cleared, bags and bags of debris were collected and disposed of - a totally mess that came off roof on 4 sides was cleaned. The final bill didn't change - tipped his crew extra as it was clearly rough work due previous owner's years of neglect.
