I met Mira Syed 2 weeks ago when she gave my middle school daughter a curly hair wolf cut. Prior to this, my daughter had been very unhappy with her curls the last year until Mira worked her magic. My daughter is so happy, says she feels like a rock star! Her hair is posted on Mira's Instagram, and all of her friends now want to get the same cut! Fast forward to yesterday, I walked in for my appointment with Mira, and she had blocked off her schedule to be able to listen and consult me. We worked as a team, deciding what colors would work best and designing the perfect cut and style for my face. I have curly hair as well, Mira blew my mind! She added golden highlights and deep red lowlights with tons of layers and my hair looks incredible! Not only can I wear it straight, but I can easily rock my curls with a no nonsense spritz and go about my day at the college! If you are looking for a stylist who "gets it" and sees you as an individual that she can create art with... go schedule with Mira Syed! She has 2 lifetime clients with my daughter and I.

I contacted 'Bello Verde' (aka Astor and Black) prior to a good friend's Bachelor Party. I had a…read moreperfectly serviceable Theory Suit I get many compliments on but decided to spend money for a top of the line suit to make sure I paid my friend's special day (and subsequent fall wedding) the respect it deserved. All seemed great when I was visited by their rep Ryan at my office and had 30 custom measurements taken. Being it was scant weeks away I had to pay a $300 rush fee on top of the already expensive bespoke suit (far more than a nice Hugo Boss and approaching Canali costs). However I couldn't wait to see what a custom fit high-end italian wool suit supposedly crafted for me in Italy by a world-class tailor would look like. I literally got the suit the day before the Bachelor party. As I said to a friend later on 'I thought I'd look like James Bond, not Better Call Saul". The suit literally floated in the back, the pants were baggy, the arms uneven and drooping. My mother happened to see me in it and said 'you look like you're wearing one of your fathers old suits". I called Ryan back in to tweak it and wore the Theory Suit to work to show him the fit I wanted, suddenly people were complimenting me in the street and at work who had not said a word when I wore the custom Bello Verde. Ryan took more measurements and promised it before the wedding (weeks away). I got this a couple days before the wedding and it was as bad as the first time. I had asked the pants to be tapered and fit better, yet now instead of breaking at my shoe they were rode a good 1/2 inch or more above it (the classic "are you expecitng a flood?" cut) and the bottom of the jacket still floated. Rather then a trim fit beautiful suit I again had a suit that made me look like a bad off the rack Banana Republic suit. For a Canali price. Ryan made the effort to come re-fit the jacket *again* which was delivered to my door the night before the wedding and still the jacket floated. I ended up going to the wedding in my old $400 Theory Suit where I was told 'wow the bespoke suit is gorgeous' until I corrected them. Worse was that I referred my friend the groom to Bello Verde, who came into the city to be fit for his wedding shirt. Suffice it to say he had to on the day of his wedding ride into town to buy an off the rack shirt since he could not use the one provided by Bello Verde (I do not recall if they did not have it ready or they did but it didn't fit in either case it doesn't matter). I can't fault Bello Verde for the effort or service they provide, yet when one is paying for two-grande for a bespoke suit once is paying for quality not service. I sent a summary of my displeasure to Bello Verde (especially about having recommended them to the groom and causing him unnecessary stress on his wedding day) and received no reply. Make of that what you will.

Meaning, the hem snagged really easily and started to unwind. This is a one-woman shop and the owner has been doing this a long time. She was really old school. I remember telling her I found her online and she told me she didn't care what the internet said about her business! The reviews I read (on other sites) were positive, which is why I decided to give this place a try. The pricing is very reasonable - I'm pretty sure I paid less than $40 for the 3 pairs of pants. However, I paid a similar price at the place I went to get those 3 pants fixed and the quality of the stitching was noticeably better. Maybe I caught this place on a bad day, but I'm not willing to go again to find out.

The old school interaction of being able to go in, talk about your garments, hand them off is no more. The small business mom and pop feel has been stripped completely now with the Columbus Dry Cleaning & Laundry Services franchise updating to no contact and current tech. Drop off experience went ok after I figured it out. When I returned the return kiosk froze and I had to get someone in the back to help and manually process the payment. Then go back and wait for the automatic vending of my clothes. Just not a fan but better than not having a dry cleaning option. Pricing was $42.59 after tax for a Jacket and a Suit Jacket. Hoping future experiences will be more seamless and I am sure I'll adjust to change but will miss the personal Ross Cleaners feel.

First of all they don't have a price list and it's my fault I didn't stop there. But I figured how high could they be? I received a timely text stating " I have 4 orders for pick up." For further information text "order" which I did and the price was $117.95. I couldn't believe that was accurate. I had 2 sweaters, 2 dresses, 2 pairs of pants and one suit jacket. Anyway, when I went to pick up items and said I think there's a mistake, the lady said probably not. When I asked why so high and why not a price list I was told prices goes up all the time due to the materials needed and tariffs. I will not recommend this cleaners due to high price and no price list. I don't like surprises like that.

Agree with the 1 star reviews…read more My fitting was done with the owner in Columbus Ohio. He was pushy and rude. I can handle a little sass, but at the end of the day the product is mediocre. I've had off the rack suits last longer. I bought three mid level suits, at over $1100 a piece. The shirts at approx $110 a piece. The shirts are garbage. The order was wrong when I went to pick it up, and the owner offered to sell me more at a discounted price, not to fix the issue. But I'm here leaving a review because, 2 years later, the suits are falling apart. The quality is pretty bad. The fabric was pilling really soon after I started wearing them. The buttons on the pants have fallen off. I was excited to support a local shop like this. But the heavy handed sales tactics and the poor quality of the suits has me regretting my purchase. I won't be a return customer.
