The food was good and the service was OK coming out of the last pandemic surge in October. Four of us dined and drank on Saturday evening. We had a good size bill. We tipped much more than a recommended amount. Reviewing the bill I saw a credit card service fee. It was very small, but the disclosure says it will be charged if larger than their cost of acceptance. I contacted the restaurant through their website to determine how much would need to be spent to cover the cost, but no response. Not great customer followup service. read more

Pick this place based on reviews on line. We went for diner. Though we would have to walk out because no one acknowledged us waiting to be seated. The place was almost empty. About 6 guests. About couple minutes in someone finally notice us standing there and seated us. Wife had a steak salad and I had the salmon salad with Cesar dressing. We agreed that our salads were good but nothing to write home about. read more

Came here this weekend because we were in the area. It's a little gem off the beaten path, but well worth it if you're looking for a break from all the different chain options out there. We tried it for a late lunch on a Saturday and by the time we left around 5pm there was a line to the door, so it's apparently pretty popular locally. They do have a ton of space to accommodate a crowd and the seating is quite comfortable. Their menu features pasta, sandwiches, various meat options, and a number of greek-inspired options. The saganaki appetizer is highly recommended and was a bit of a surprise considering they lit it on fire when it came out. It was absolutely delicious. Our entrees were just as good and the service throughout was solid. It's a bit out of the way for me normally but is definitely on my radar if I'm ever passing that way again. read more

This was my first time here. It is only 5 minutes from my house and I didn't even know it was their until I did a Google search for places to eat near me. It sits back off the main road which is probably never really noticed it. I started out with the cheese wedges which were really good. Then I had a house salad which was also good. And for the entrée I had the meat ravioli. Over all the meal was good. I will be going back to try other things such as a steak. The atmosphere is pleasant and the waiter that waited on me was nice and got me another drink when he noticed I was getting low. read more

The thing that really stands out about this place is how clean and spotless the dining area and bar is. The food is well prepared in a timely manner, and the service is friendly and professional. In fact, the lady who typically takes my order made it a point to get to know me after only a couple visits, and typically knows what I want ahead of time. Amazing service, amazing food. They were super accommodating and sat us immediately. The drinks were good--not sweet but very flavorful and affordable at under $8. The menu varied from sandwiches to more pricey items like steak and lamb chops. Truly something for everyone at every price point. The lamb chops were perfect after arriving a little too rare. Our excellent waitress noticed this, took them back and when they returned they were the best lambchops we've had in years! The grape leaves and pretzel sticks appetizers were both good, nice portions and again, priced well. My only regret is that the restaurant is in PA and not Baltimore! First meal back from a year long deployment. i had the ribeye with french fries and broccoli. The ribeye was edge to edge medium rare, broccoli was actually steamed and not soggy and grey, it had a wonderful crunch to it. The fries were good as well. They have a good menu selection, definitely something for everyone. The gyro dip appetizer is my favorite thing here, we get it every time we go. Big big portions. They get extremely busy a little chaotic, but carry out is usually pretty quick. It's nicely decorated inside, neutral, modern, dimly lit. Nice bar inside and the staff is attentive. The reason I gave it 3 stars is I really want to love this place but I always feel a little underwhelmed. When I think Greek food I think bold flavors and creative dishes but it's kind of dull and uninspired. read more

I do not recommend this business for large groups. We were under the impression that they had a party space. We ask to reserve it for a party of 20 and we're told that they do not take reservations for the party space. I am so tired of incompetent restaurants. Covid has turned the restaurant business into a shit show. They are shelled shocked from the experience and have not been able to bounce back. read more

Best Pork Chop. Probably the best place to eat in the Valley nowadays for quality food at reasonable price.

I have eaten here a few times with mixed results. First off, they do like their garlic and I'm not a garlic fan. The brussels sprouts appetizer was delicious. Their version of Surf n Turf is absolutely delicious, chicken with very large shrimp on top with a creamy sauce. The steak sandwich and onion rings were alright. The portions are large. Others in my party also had mixed results. Some really liked their meals and some weren't thrilled. I think you should try it for yourself and support a local business. They have a large parking lot and it's a nice-sized place so there is room for people to be spread out. read more

I have gotten their food as takeout for a medical office and they rave about it! The inside is very nice too but as takeout they Do a great job. Seems like their salads and mezze platter are the most popular among the group I normally order for. The cashier knew to assist me with an itemized receipt as well which was SUPER helpful for work. Worth the few miles off highway 51 you'll need to drive. Ravioli Marsala spaghetti all are wonderful. Yum!

Usually when you go to place when it first opens, there is always something wrong ... not here! The food was delicious, the staff efficient and very friendly plus the owners really are amazing people. We had Cajun Alfredo and homemade raviolis, delicious salad and gyro dip .... all were scrumptious and we can't wait to go back again. The beer prices and selection we're pretty good. The food was also good. We had gyros. I probably won't go back though. It's the type of place that had NewsMax on the TV with closed captioning. At least have enough respect for your associates and patrons to put on Law and Order reruns or the Brady Bunch or something. I feel bad for the folks who work there because they deserve better. We stumbled on this restaurant driving through from Ohio back home to Brooklyn and I'm a total snob and I wish we had a place like this in Brooklyn. Don't be fooled by the outside which looks like nothing. Food is phenomenal, waitstaff wonderful and attentive, kitchen quick, environment comfy and attractive. Just a total gem. Probably the best place to eat in the whole of Monessen. It's a warm and inviting interior, and the food is very good. I had the pasta aglio olio, which was filling and tasty. I loved the incorporation of spice into the food I had. red pepper flakes dotted my pasta, and red pepper was also included in the delicious hummus, which, being a relatively recent convert to how good hummus is, I had to order as a side. Overall, this place is one of the better places you can eat in the Mon Valley. It's not old-fashioned or dated in any way, and the food is just about as good as you can get. I will definitely have to try them out again. read more

Was out visiting a friend and she recommend this . Got seated right away and fast service. She got the gyro salad. I had the grilled Cajun shrimp with rice ! I also ordered the side meat ball to try the pasta side of the menu . We both enjoyed are meal very much ! Followed it up with the salted Carmel brownie which was awesome. This was my first time eating here. A group of co-workers and I came for lunch. I was shocked to see such a nice restaurant in Monessen. The interior was definitely nice as well, sort of rustic. We were seated on the outdoor enclosed patio area which at first was sort of chilly since it's wintertime, but once the heat kicked on it was very nice. I tried the grilled shrimp with asparagus and lobster bisque. The bisque was incredible, large chunks of meat. The shrimp was great too, no complaints at all. I am excited to try a filet next! read more
