There are also vendors who sell seafood, meat vendor, olive oil, honey, flowers, plants, hummus and pita (and they give lots of samples!) eggs, pasta and more. It's not huge or overwhelming, which I really like. Only a few "food" vendors, so not a place to go eat like some other markets I've been to. Everyone is always very friendly, and most accept Venmo or Zelle.

Farmers market is set up next by a high school. Parking is at the front of the high school. Do come early because parking is limited based on what I could tell. A good variety of vendors from all over Northern and Southern California. They were all super friendly and nice. You may find fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, juices, organic goods, non-food items, and so much more. Some vendors offer free samples so you can taste before you buy. I found some of the best oranges I have ever eaten from here. I've only been here once. I haven't had a chance to return, but I do plan to come back to pick up some more sweet and delicious organic oranges. Thank you Pasadena Farmers Market!

The street where the market is located is adjacent to a park where lots of kids are playing. There are a few picnic tables but we weren't lucky enough to get one. I think there was maybe 20 vendors or less with some as food and a couple specialty item stores. I was expecting a more but we went away with a couple of items and tried some delicious things. Here's what I got: Calamaki - Rockfish Ceviche - 5 oz for $10 - the fish was from Santa Barbara and was mixed with tomatoes, capers, onions, etc. It was a really refreshing ceviche. We ate it on the spot because we were hungry and it was a tad frozen but still yummy! Focaccia Bread - $4, I don't remember the stall name bit the bread was quite yummy and airy! Tacos Casa - Amigos Platter $15 - The tacos were delicious! The al pastor was especially delicious. The mulitas were also yummy adding that gooey cheese. The sopes were a miss for me - hard to eat and not super flavorful. Even with ordering this, it says chips, guac, and beans are included but we did not get that and were too far to go back already. We did get some organic lettuce and these cute little squashes! Perfect for lettuce wraps and sauteed veggies. Both costs about $4. It's a cute farmer's market and hope in the future there's more variety and vendors! It's a nice stop for a Wednesday afternoon.

The owner Maddie Romo graciously donated 10% of the evenings sales to PH. We were treated to wine while we shopped and nibbles of some of the store's specialty gourmet products. This place is adorable! They carry a wide assortment of goods - clothing, soaps, books, jewelry, cooking supplies, kitchenware, barware, trinkets.... There is something for everyone here. While browsing through all their wonderful selections I was thrilled when I came across Southern Belle Jalapeño Cranberry Sauce & Jumpin' Jack BBQ Sauce. My friend makes them, so I had to take a picture to send to her. There were so many cute things in the store that I wanted for myself. It was hard for me to maintain self-control and just stick to my holiday shopping list. Maddie was so delightful as was the other gal that worked there. They were both friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Next time I need a unique gift or want to treat myself to something fun I'll be coming here.
